Problem with calls - Touch HD General

During the talk (conversation), it happens that somethimes people can't hear at moments (usually for 3-5 seconds) or hear me but tone is quite.
I have tried all Radio's and with each one is the same thing.
Can you tell me what is the cause of this problem?
ps. sorry for my english

maybe poor reception because of poor gsm covering ?
or a glitch in your operators hardware or the hardware gsm module in the device

Reception is full.
glitch? I don't know.
Now i turn on 3G and i will test that.
------
I try 3G but some thing
I allways hear people who are talking with me.

I had a similar issue with an old phone a while back. Turned out to be a problem with the service, ie Orange. Cleared up after a while by itself.

I have the same problem and it is intermittent. Very annoying when people say they cant hear me. Somebody please help.

Phone App issues; Anyone else?

I have had my K-Jam for a month now and I love it, but I find the phone part of it very inconsistent.
1) voice quality is inconsistent, some calls great some have static or are muffled
2) Bluetooth connection gets dropped out of the blue. I make a call and it works fine, two mintes later I answer a call and I can't hear anything; I look at the phone and I notice that the BT headset icon is off so I pick up the phone and I can hear the voice on the phone but not ont he BTheadset
3) Speaker volume very low, not usable for me; is there a setting I can use
4) when I roam to the US from Canada the signal strenght bars disappear and I have to reset the device (sometimes 2 or 3 times) before the bars appear again
5) lastely, sometimes the phone just turns itself off out of the blue.
Anyone else encouter any of these issues?
I use my phone for business and I find it a pain that it is so inconsistent.
Are there settings/registry keys I can modify to fix any of these?
Thanks
not much help to you,
but i have had none of the problems you have listed,
sorry i can't help
for (3) volume low.
I notice that handsfree (aka using internal speaker for public audience) is not "activable" if my bluetooth headset is connected (and even if I previously disconnect"tranfer" BT hS to 9100).
Only way to have this handsfree, is to shutdown previously by BT headset.
For other nothing special Roaming works well for me between France-Belgium.

I am having phone app problems, but not the ones you describe. I have to reboot sometimes because the phone will not dial from contacts. I highlight the contact and try to dial, but it just doesnt do anything, like the button is
not being pushed. Afte a reboot it works ok again.
Anyone else?

I'm having the very same problems, I'm also with Rogers (in Saskatchewan). Have you had any success fixing the issue?

This sounds like a carrier/ signal issue. See if you can tell how strong your signal is when things like this happen. Here in Nashville, TN USA, I don't have this problem.

I don't have this problem with my Motorola HS820. The BT performance is perfect. Much better than on my Blue Angel.

If you're referring to the speaker phone, there seems to be a quality issue with the speaker phone right now. A lot of people are reporting problems with this feature. I'm hoping a ROM upgrade will come out to help address the issue.

This is definitely a signal/carrier issue. Soft resetting when you cross the boarder isn't unreasonable. The issue is your cell phone registering on the roaming network. You're doing the right thing to resolve the issue, here.

Do you mean the cellular radio turns off, or the device sleeps? If the cell radio turns itself off out of the blue, its not supposed to do that, and there may in fact be something wrong with it. You may want to look into getting it either repaired or exchanged (depending on how long you've had it...)
I haven't had any of these problems with my K-JAM. Its been working very well, and I'm VERY pleased with the way its been working.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need additional help.

is there a way to keep my GSM noise from being heard on the caller's end?

Hello all:
If this has been covered or solved elsewhere, could you please refer me to said thread? Anyway, I have a problem where my girlfriend's 8525 emits its own GSM noise into the call. I.E. you'll be talking to her, then suddenly you here the GSM interfeerance. It varries from mild, to annoyingly loud. Sometimes, it cuts out, then resumes after a minute or so. That is not consistent however. That phone used to be mine, so I noticed it coming through the earpiece, however it was too soft to bother me.
One more thing. I noticed that windows system sounds appear to be piped through to the caller as well. I'm thinking, that if there's some registry tweek to disable that, perhaps it will also prevent the GSM noise from being piped through. Just a suggestion.
By the way, this phone is sim and sid unlocked and has the HTC rom, V3.54.255.3, and radio V1.54.07.00. Thanks, gladly appreciate any help or suggestions.

Echoing on other side

I'm not sure if any of you are experiencing this problem, but I'm using a leancut ROM by ironeagle.
The problem is that there is always an echo on the other person's phone. The other person usually hears his/her own voice with a lot of distortion. It happens mostly with speakerphone, but even when it is off, the problem still occurs, but less.
Now my wife and I both purchased a Jade, but she has the original firmware and does not experience any of these problems. I thought she did until she told me she calls me with her cell phone sometimes and uses speakerphone.
What could this problem be?
Thanks guys
Echoing normally is a problem of the network, not the handset. It can change from cell to cell that means a few hundred meters away the situation can change.
Well, i've had the echoing every now and then with both original firmware and cooked ROM, and with both radio versions available for this phone.
Overall the sound quality isn't that bad, do you experience it with every call?

I have a look-alike phone, and I have exactly the same problem
I don't use the speakerphone, but the echoing happens very often (but not on each call).
It could be my network since I just switched to T-mobile and it isn't all that great. I just know it annoys some people I call because it can get unbearable at times

[Q] Audio Problem - Only on calls

hi,
my girlfriend owns a blackstone that recently started to do some noises, some crackling during calls.
it happens over speaker, loud speaker and even on headphones... but only on calls, because on music player sounds perfectly.
full network coverage, so that is not the problem.
any idea what could be the problem?
thanks
Does the other phone (which u called) receive your voice well and clear?
yes, they ear me well and clear, on every call.
mine does this problem on every call, it´s not problem of the other phone,I can notice the noise even on the waiting tone before other people answer the call
I am not sure, i have never had such a problem but i know that our HD switches gsm to 3g - or 3g to gsm- network continuously. So can it be what causes such a problem? I don't think it is a hardware problem. So you can try restoring to defaults & hard resetting or changing rom. I don't have any other opinion for now, sorry
have you tried another radio rom followed by a hard reset?
after all, the radio handles these things and newer radio often have better call quality.

Calling disturbance issue

Hi All,
I'm facing some issues with my new OnePlus 5.
Sometimes, during a call, there seems to be a distirbance, as if the phone is catching it from nearby electrical/electromic devices. There seems to be a current/voltage like sound which happens durimg certain calls and sometimes the calls are perfectly normal. Doesn't seem to be a network issue as there's no voice breakage or lags, just a disturbance that lasts for a second and can be repetitive.
Anything on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Yea it's happening to me too. There are other threads about this as well.
Hi,
Can you please provide a link to those threads?
facing the same issue
i had purchased the one plus yesterday but now when i making calls i feel disturbance in voice,
so i changed my sim and bought new sim but still the problem is same. any help?
Try disabling wifi while calling. Fixes the high pitch noise. Don't know if this can or will be fixed with an update
High pitch in call also for me.. I hope op is aware of the issue and can fix it..
