my account is temporarily suspended for violating the community standards, which I have no idea what does it mean.
apparently, every account without real name will be suspended sooner or later. according to Google discussion board, large number of people is facing this problem now, especially those with names like mine (sony ericssone community), iphone, XDA ...etc. please read the following

so I had to change my name to my personal name and ask for appeal and wait for them to reactivate my account. this seems to be stupid for me. if we want to make group or something, what should we do???? and where is the openness that google keeps mentioning in each of their articles?????
I finally found the answer, if you want to have any of the groups names, you need to have a business account, which as you all know is not available yet, so you need to wait
yes, all non standard name accounts will be shut down
which i think is something else that is a +1 over facebook. you don't have a million different crappy little pages pestering you all day long.
just create a hangout...
then add it here. http://gphangouts.com/
too bad, i enjoy your daily news.
and hangout is not work on phone, which there's huddle which not working on computer.
thanks alot
I will be back as soon as they reactivate it
Hi everybody

what if we started a developers circle on Google+ that can be used to update people on what the devs are working on for the x10? seemed like a good idea so i thought i would post it.
If you want to add me on Google+ or need an invite just leave your email below
Hey guys.
First things first. I'm not the developer of any of these projects. I just found them and wanted to share them with anyone else who also recently started to use Telegram instead of Whatsapp.
If you're on Windows or OS X, you can check out their native apps in beta phase here - http://tdesktop.com/. I haven't used either of them yet, but they are in extremely active development, as new updates were added just today.
If you want to try the web client, I can vouch for it working extremely well. I use it on Linux on Chrome and it works wonderfully well. It even does Chrome notifications for new messages, and supports everything from group chats, media messaging, changing profile images, selective notifications, the whole deal. http://zhukov.github.io/webogram
Remember, all this stuff is in testing phase, but in my opinion, Telegram is in a position to make a serious change in IMing because of it's open source API strategy as opposed to Whatsapp's "phone phone phone only" system.
Enjoy!
needs a bbm client asap if it wants to really take off.
just one bbm user in a large group will affect it's likeliness to become the main messaging app for the whole group.
I would like to use this app but I can't get anyone off sms. ?

Only 1 of my friends is using it compared to 23 on WhatsApp, will keep it anyway for a bit to see if anyone else in my contact list starts to use it.
Btw. Ubuntu app is now available!
Telegram has been my favorite messaging app for months. Still trying to convert all my friends.
Telegram app has niche market for users keen to message encryption.
I noticed another app just mimic the same layout but using exactly same api, called messenger plus. (previously called telegram +). Not sure why's the different. Same phone number, allowed you to install the 2 apps....

Q: What is Telegram? What do I do here?
Telegram is a messaging app with a focus on speed and security, it’s super fast, simple and free. You can use Telegram on all your devices at the same time — your messages sync seamlessly across any number of your phones, tablets or computers.
With Telegram, you can send messages, photos, videos and files of any type (doc, zip, mp3, etc), as well as create groups for up to 200 people or channels for broadcasting to unlimited audiences. You can write to your phone contacts and find people by their usernames. As a result, Telegram is like SMS and email combined — and can take care of all your personal or business messaging needs.

Q: What do the green checks mean?
One check — message delivered to the Telegram cloud and your friend has been notified, if he allows notifications.
Two checks — message read (your friend opened Telegram and opened the conversation with the message).

Q: What are usernames? How do I get one?
You can set up a public username on Telegram. It then becomes possible for other users to find you by that username — you will appear in contacts search under ‘global results’. Please note that people who find you will be able to send you messages, even if they don't know your number. If you are not comfortable with this, we advise against setting up a username in Telegram.
Usernames and search by username are supported in most of the official apps — you can set up a username in Settings.

Q: What can I use as my username?
You can use a-z, 0-9 and underscores. Usernames are case-insensitive, but Telegram will store your capitalization preferences (e.g. Telegram and TeleGram is the same user). The username must be at least 5 characters long.

Please use the telegram beta app if you would like to chat, I personally made the mistake of upgrade the group to a supergroup and screwed over the chat. I personally feel accountable and deeply sorry.

Is this still a thing? The link doesn't work for me.
Does anyone know where I can find this kernel, "yukari-kernel", here on xda or else where? The dude stole my git email and made a github account using it so now anything I've done even stuff on my own damn github shows as his name. Trying to be nice and give him a chance to remove my freaking shinyside email from his account or else I'm gonna be a d*ck verify his github account since I receive the email, change the password to the account and delete his entire account. So if anyone knows where I can find the kernel and or owner of it let me know or let him know I will delete his entire github account. Thanks.
Here is the github in question.

Found an xda user under that name but he hasn't been on since October.

Wow so he did that to you and you are still trying to be nice? You are a good guy man, proud of you, but I would just go ahead and F***ING delete his account, his work is probably a mess of everyones work and doesn't deserve the attention
Just delete it, it's your email, he stole it, and hasn't been on XDA since Oct
No need to be nice about it imo, but kudos to you for even trying
Don't suppose it will help, but 'yukari' translates from Turkish to English into 'Up'
And this post, from a Turkish member mentions that name yukari
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61162787&postcount=1115
All fixed. Github was nice enough to remove my email address from his account.
Nice one, saves some hassle
Sorry
