This is the same version I posted on samsung-omnia.org for my old Omnia i910. It works great on my Touch Pro2 as well, so I thought I'd share it here.
I don't recall who originally packed the cab. I only take credit for weeding through all of the WLM versions available back when I had my Omnia to find a fully working version, and for finding that it works on the TP2.
I've tested this on my own Touch Pro 2 (details below, and in the screenshots) to find that all functions work properly. I have not tried this out on the GSM version. If someone would please try this on the following versions and PM me the results, I will add the details to the original post;

My ROM: WM Pro 6.1 (CE OS 5.2.21052 / Build 21052.1.6.5)
Carrier: Verizon Wireless (CDMA)
WLM Version: 10.6.0034.0800
Make sure you install this to your main memory, not 'My Storage' and not a MicroSD card.. the .dll's are mapped to work as if the application is installed in the main system memory, so you'll run into problems if you ignore this tip.
Also, this version does allow you to disable the contact syncing into your phonebook. It will ask you at the first startup/sign in, or you can change it in the options menu of the application while it's running.
If you sync your Windows Live contacts into your phonebook/phone contact list, do not manually delete them from there!! Simply run Windows Live Messenger -> Select Menu -> Windows Live -> Uncheck 'Store Windows Live Contacts in your mobile phone's contact list' -> Click 'DONE' -> Click 'Done' again -> Click 'Messenger' to get back to messenger.

My TP2 comes with WL version 10.6.0052.1300... so which is newer? What has been changed?
No matter what version Messenger still with no significant changes, same old interface
My TP2 did not come with Live installed. I had to download it and it didnt come with messenger so I tried the version above, knowing it had messenger, and it worked.
I got mine off the MS site and it's 10.6.0053.1000

My phone didn't come with Windows Live Mobile, and the version I downloaded previously from Microsoft did not come with a real messenger, it came with a link to the web-based (WAP) version. I just downloaded another version from wl.windowsmobile.com that does have the messenger.
Terribly sorry, but this was a highly sought after item for the Omnia i910 and when I downloaded the first version from Microsoft that had no working Messenger, I tried this one I posted on samsung-omnia.org awhile back to find it was working for the TP2 and it has the Messenger. By posting it here I was merely trying to help others out, because I didn't originally find the version you guys are using that has the Messenger.
If you don't want to use it, that's fine.. let it disappear into the abyss of threads.

My verizon phone came with the same link to the wap version of messenger and I will be using this because it looks like it is better than the old pocket msn that I downloaded to have a messenger application.
Before in 6.1 Windows live was like Google Maps

this is the lastest version from marketplace.. it really nice one its version 10.7.0057.802
Does anyone else have the problem with the Live Mobile app when they set the schedule to "as they arrive"? I noticed when I set this the app does not synchronize very often. I had to just revert back to the 15 minute sync schedule.

Where did you see new Windows Mobile? The only thing i can see in these screens are "new Windows Live Hotmail & Messenger"
The screens look like its Windows Live for WM, but I suppose a new WM is 6.5 since it's not really released yet.

It is a new mobile website on the internet... not an actual new application. If you like to use your web browser to view your mail then great you can enjoy this 'new' windows live. If not, all the rest of us here will continue to use our standard software.

I think Microsoft means that it is the new Windows Messenger and Hotmail for web, that is you have to access it via a web browser, like IE. It is not a standalone program I presume.

I guess you're right. It was too good to be true. I wonder when will they gonna update the WM apps. The WM Hotmail and Mesenger client really sucks.
Just incase anybody have missed this... A new Windows Live package is available... I've installed it and I'm very impressed... I can even see Facebook status messages in the new "Windows Live Home"

This is very good. Note that you have to reset device after installing but it doesn't tell you to. Error messages on launch otherwise - "this is not a valid app"

Pleeeeeeease tell me limit to 50 most recent messages has been fixed? if not totally kills its utility, what a shame. Hope they finally fixed this. Don’t even get me started on how great touch flo 3d grouping emails by contact is, except it can’t read other folders but inbox. No worries I'll just move everything to inbox. Dooh!.., only 50 to sort among all my contacts. What about wm6 great type & sort feature in pocket outlook inbox?, also rendered useless. Local search only, …yep still stuck at 50 most recent. So do the math, I have 50 messages to split between my whole phonebook, the majority of emails won’t even show up in tf3d for most of the contacts. Option,.. delete all contacts except 50 and pray no one sends me more than one email, silly right?
Why should a hotmail user not switch to any of the compets, if you can’t even get access to all you mail without the major inconvenience of launching a web browser? So now, just to work with mail I have to work in 2 apps? Hotmail Pop3 route is no better, zero folder sync with online, even at ground level no sent, or deleted items sync. Might as well be a seperate email account.

So the ultimate rom is out. I flashed and there seems to be no problem with anything. Approx 250 MB in the ROM available after flashing. It is a great improvement.

I must say this is the BEST lean rom I have ever tried. But I do have a issue - when calls/text come from contacts in my list - thier names is not displayed. It is only displayed when I call out/text out. However those contacts listed as People quicklink shortcuts - names/photos will showup. Any solution to this?
BTW the ereader cabs works well and displayed as alast tab in slider but noted it is not displayed under Settings/Personalize/Home screen tabs - minor issue anyway ; disadvantage one cannot choose to move tab to another position

Has anyone else noticed this? The built-in compass app is supposed to have a 'Set Destination' feature that lets you pick a destination from Google Maps and it will show a dot that you can use to navigate to that. I have a TMO US HD2 and there is no 'Set Destination' button at all. I checked the manual for the US HD2 and even that mentions this feature. What's going on?

I just have the Stock TMO US Rom that the phone came with. I haven't flashed it or anything. Wonder if TMO removed this feature. Although I can't imagine why.

Yes, I installed the cab and it works. I have the 'Set Destination' button now. But once I pick a location, the dot doesn't stay in one place. It's jerky. Not sure if that was because I was driving though.

It has instructions on the screen for that. Move away from a computer or big TV or something like that and move the phone in a figure 8 like it shows. Usually does the trick for me even if I don't move the phone away from anything.
when doing that figure 8 thing, it works better and faster if you do vertical as well as horizontal movements.
I've tried everything, never works.

Can't find GDrive.NET in Microsoft Store anymore

When I use your link to the Microsoft Store it comes back with the following error: "The app you're looking for isn't here anymore"
Als using the Microsoft Store search I can't find your app anymore. Not with my Windows 10 PC nor with my Microsoft Lumia 950 with Windows 10 Mobile.
Luckily I already installed GDrive.NET on my smartphone and I could make the in-app purchase to disable ads and enable automatic camera backup to Google Drive.
Is everything alright with the app?

due to licensing issue with Google app was not available for last week. Fortunately now GDrive.NET is back in store for everyone to download on PC and Mobile.
It's version 3, which uses newest Google Drive API, it's faster, more reliable, I worked on tons of improvements, and also has new app icon.
