power setting is not working including adjust backlight, clear storage too...

Memory encryption always on, It looks like many problem with this rom

also, no one can hear when using the phone and the vol control not working. Too many bugs maybe going back to sometthing more stable I guess

Instead is very fast indeed and very low memory usage. It seems scrolling programs and contacts is way better then I ever seen until now including manilla 2d scroll. It has no problem with already known touch-flo refresh issue (better 2d driver perhaps?). Fastest ROM i ever seen by now. Keep up the good work.

You re right, after a hard reset the sounds works at a first time then it bugs

Well, I like the rom but too many bugs on it. I will have to wait for a better or newer version.

what's your Radio Rom Version?? On these latest WM6.1 roms,you must use radio rom 1.59.42.23 .Older ones like murata don't work...Also sometimes camera doesn't work because of the old radio rom...

This is not one of the latest WM 6.1 ROM. Is based on PhamQuang's V26 and hence this requires earlier radios - like the previous releases starting with 1.58.21.23 or 1.58.25.14 and preferabley Murata. Camera is working with radio 1.58.25.14 need to test other functionalities. Also Memory is 100.xx and not 84.xx as with the latest WM builds. The ROM is dated 21.07.2008 though lists the latest params as 20931 build. Little misleading ... ?

PhamQuang's V26 is 1.60.08.26 (OS 5.2.20270 Build 20270.1.3.1)
this one is (OS 5.2.20931 Build 20931.1.5.0) which means it's allot newer
it's also in c_shekhar newest rom and maybe epimazzo if he can fix all the bugs

Does anyone know if this rom has the same memory leak problem as c_shekhar newest rom?

test results: nice rom and impressed by the free ram but too buggy
I've tested this and the rom has two positive points:
1- The free memory is very high: after boot, more than 60% ram free. None of the numerous rom I've tested was beter than 50% free.
2- Very nice rom: the iphone like screen after wake up, ... So it's a nice gui.
I've tested it with the 1.59.42.23 radio rom and the camera was not working (black screen), no sound problem, the music tab page was working ok and not blocking like it's blocking in c-shekhar or in M-amine rom.
I didn't understand the discution about V26 pdaviet rom, I'm using the V42 padaviet rom. so don't understand why you are speaking about a so old pdaviet rom.
Even though, if some one can explain with which radio rom the camera pb is solved, I could come back to this rom to do more tests. Because of its high amount of free ram, it worth !

I tested the rom, flashed the radio to Murata rom and it solved all the radio, sound and camera problem.
do a few further cracks on the default software to make it better .
But don't like the icon color in file explorer, any way to change it back to default icon color ?

The suggestion Radio is 1.58.21.23!!!
I've just tested it, and it is really smooth and fast. Haven't tested it yet with all my programs installed. I think it has video dialer, the one default with polaris. I hope that is no problem because I posted the links and info about this ROM.

I tried it and with the recommended Radio and I have the following problems:
1. Memory Encryption is always on
2. Album video does not work

Yes indeed, the encryption is always on. Is this a problem? Will create problems when flashing another ROM?
I am impressed with the smooth manilla in this ROM. The phone became more responsive. When I acces the Programs folder from Start menu, the apps are grouped into different follders. Games, Office, Internet etc. When I install new apps, how can I move the shortcuts into folders? FOr example, when I install S2U2 new version, it creates a new folder named S2U2. I wan't to copy the S2u2 exe to the folder Tools and the Setings exe to folder settings.

fast rom
really fast rom, i like this rom so much. too bad the camera doesn't work with radio 1.59.44.02. Everything else works very well, lot of free ram. If this rom fixed de 1.59.44.02 issue, then it'll my first choice at the moment.

I don't like this ROM. It slow as hell when accessing files. Opera with YouTube hangs every now and then.
Camera not working with the latest radio.

I like this ROM it's very fast.
Does anybody know how to turn off Memory Encryption? Meybe a registry tweak?

this is my 2nd pdaviet rom and both had the same problem:
there is no sound. when i reboot the device, i can hear again and the microphone works as well, but when i hang up, i have to soft reset again in order to make a call.

There are many problem with this ROm that includes key lock, any key will power the screen no matter what you choose from the setting

Try changing this Registry setting to fix the key lock problem:
HKCU>ControlPanel>Keybd>DefaultKeyLock
Change from '0' to '1' then reset.

You need to make sure you are running the recommended radio version 1.58.21.23, not a 1.59 version.
The issue you mention is typically caused by incompatible ROM/radio versions.

It won't work properly with 1.59.xx.xx Radio
You need 1.58.xx.xx Radio

Radio 1.64.08.21 works perfectly here .... and now will compare battery performance against the Murata one.

One question: the Sense interface automatically switches to landscape mode when I turn my phone. This works great, though for the music tab I prefer the original view where all albums are layed out horizontally using the full screen width. Do you know if/how I can restore this view for the music tab?

Just same problem as you so far: when phone in stand by, it cannot be switch back on most of the time. You have to either remove the battery or reset it...
That'sa pity since all the rest is excellent and so stable compare to other ROMs tested so far...

the sleep of death had many roms in the past.
pdaviet rom was one of the best rom, but i don´t like landscape support
in manila home view it´s ok but in all other views like picture or music it´s not ok
please make a cab to switch landscape support not all people like this

I have deactivated the "automatically adjust backlight" feature, and that might have solved the issue... but need to wait for a day to confirm...

- This is my TRYIAL cooked GER. rom. I have tried to **** it, because I have never found a ger. rom for Opal with wm 6.5.x. With some matching, recommended from experienced users and chefs, man can cook a better and more stable rom, please try it and share then the cooked one.
- I tried to take most Packages from original Opal external packages, so the rom to be more stable and not to crash or freeze suddenly, replaced are those, man can take them from HTC Mega, for more M2D matching.
- The rom was cooked with Oskitchen Zero.
- Base rom is Opal ger. version,
RUU_Opal_HTC_GER_1.35.407.1_infineongsm 4.1.13.66_03.29.90_Ship.exe.
- UI is taken from HTC Mega with M2D v2.0.19191432.04 from

Flash Procedure
- Normal flash, then hard reset by screen calibration, until the Wi-Fi symbol appears, otherwise you will have problems with Comm. Manager, Home screen config. And Volume control buttons!
And that is the greet BUG, I can not solve it, turn off the phone can lead to the same Problem, I am not a cooker, also ask Chefs, they know all better solutions for that Problem.
- Comm. Manager will work without Wi-Fi problem after 1 or 2x turn off and then on. Soft reset can solve the problem, but not recommended when Wi-Fi ist OFF!
- Other Bugs, for my use, are not known, because I don’t use Internet and Mail, etc.
- Battery life is about 40%-50% a day! Or less!! Depends on Phone use.
- For those, who want to cook own rom, I can share my Kitchen, with pleasure, but it will take a long time to upload it.

i have replaced "cprog" with the one from build 23529, but the result was not good, it shows bugs too. Next i will search for a solution for all 28xxx. Build 23691 shows bugs too! i still have no new ideas, rom cooking is not so easy as i think.

Problems fixed with 4 Files. I have replaced them in the Windows build in the Kitchen, and all is fixed. Only one thing, the sound symbol in the enlarged start menu does not work, with this small bug man can accept the hole rom. New rom Upload comes asap.

Hi Friends,
here is my newst GER. ROM. It is WM 6.5. build 23549, 5.5.0. with M2D 19171723. The ROM is quite the same as the one in post 1, also configuration, extras and flash procedure can be taken from post 1.
Neu ist black dialer. Build 23549 is wie build 23529 without phonecanav. Bugs. Only youtube does not work, the sound symbol in the enlarged start menu is ok now, but it is a windows_Logo!!
