I have a major problem with f.... SFR set up.
I want to szet up the sl2sfr apn on my new HTC Snap but SFR nor HTC know how to do.
It works fine on wap and internet but i want to use my email.
The set up on my htc touch pro was very different. The OS used on HTC Snap seems really different.
Please, can somebody help me...?

i am in ayacucho, peru with movistar and text works, i choose not to use my att sim card cause of the cost rates, but if i want mms to work i would have to get the settings from movistar, but i havent had the need to mms from the tilt so i email when i get a chance. thus mms not work on it yet

i called movistar customer service and they tell me that i need a user name and password to send mms, or log on to internet. and i would have to go to a movistar store to get that info, but like i said, have not seem the need for it at the moment and have been visiting for a month and will be here for 2 more
When i receive an MMS the picture is really small.
It is scaled down because the unbranded HTC Diamond 2 use a standard
MMS-profile. Branded ones seem to have better settings.
Hey, users of O2 or T-Mobile Diamond 2 what profile do you have in the registry
at that location ?

I have created this new thread as I have searched several days now trying to get vodafone live working on my telstra htc hd2 with no luck. I have contacted customer support on 1555 to send me the setting via sms but i never got it. I have also gone to the australian vodafone website to get the wap setting via sms but my screen just briefly lights up but doesn't show that any sms has been recieved hence i can't get the correct settings. I have also tried manual set up instructions on the vodafone web site but they do not work as well since it asks for passwords etc. I found a thread before talking about vodafone live on this website but it is based on the new zealand web site and assumes that you have got the correct vodafone wap setting etc which is what I cannot get no matter what I try.
Does anyone now how to get vodafone australia wap setting on the htc hd2 and hence get vodafone live working on the telstra htc hd2 handset. Instructions right from the very start would be really appreciated.

Hi, I've had my hd2 working on vodafone (sim is now in my Desire) . Even with the telstra rom your apn settings should be automatically set when you insert the sim. If you don't have any luck then you might need to flash the rom (and rid it of the bloatware).
First you need to flash an older Telstra rom from shipped-roms.com (1.46). Then you will be able to use hard spl (hardspl.exe), then flash any rom and radio from this fine website. I personally like ozrom or artemis. These roms will automatically set your apn and work.
If you can't be stuffed and know where to update the settings:

hi thanks for the reply, I do have the vodafone setting when I click start etc so i can recieve my credit in phone via sms etc but its just that I need some way to input the correct vodafone live settings into the phone. Surely this can be done without flashing the rom how else am I making calls etc from my vodafone sim card.

My phone was a test model given to me and looks like it was set up on Vodafone. I'm on O2 and my sim works in it- everything works except I cannot get MMS to download..have tried getting setting sent again and it won't work..also, even though I alter the set up to O2 it keeps going back to Vodafone..any help would be gratefully received..other than I shouldn't be using a "test not for resale phone"..or join Vodafone lol! Thanks!
Are you trying to download an MMS app? Did the phone not come with MMS?
