Touch Cruise camera and view problems

I installed the WWE rom from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431738
Now when I enter camera mode, all I see is black. Once I take a picture, in the preview, it'll actually show what it took a picture of. So it works, but I can't see what I'm taking a picture of.
Any ideas?
Also, once its saved and I go to it to view it, it gives me that 'no application associated' error, but when I go programs and run the view manually, it works fine.
How do I re-associate it?

another problem that im having is that it will ask me for the pin when I turn on the phone but it will disappear and not come back

Well, fixed the camera one; didn't need to install the camera patch. Check qualities and looks like already patched.
Still stuck on the other two.
Can can't figure out how to get the music tab up now. Used to work, now it isn't working. Hm...

That's not typical behavior. Try downloading another copy of the ROM update and reflashing. Make sure there are no SD cards in your phone while flashing. For safe measure do a hard reset right after you flash. Let us know if you still have the problem after that.

Same problem for me with the swedish installation, black on screen but taking pictures without any problem. Kamera Version 5.04 (Build 31875) Swe.
How to solve this?

for camera issues upgrade to Radio rom 1.59.42.23 or Radio rom 1.59.42.15

I can recommend 1.59.42.15 , with ver...23 gps doesnt work good - slow start, TT7 doesnt work

Can't update with this radio rom. pda phone rom update utility shows error 262. Update stopped in 0%.
Tested with 2 difret PC's.

about the pin code box, i have the same problem that the enter pin screen dissapears very soon, but i just press the call button once and then its popping up the screen again so... for me no big problem....

if ya have upgrade to wm6.1..please remember not to install Hot fix for Touch Cruise photo quality issue cos i had encounter similar problem after installing the fix but once i removed the culprit my camera was back to usual

Still black screen after uninstall of the Hot fix for Touch Cruise photo quality issue.

do a soft reset if still cannot work do a hard reset and delete the hot fix

Nope. Still black screen after soft reset.
Taking pictures is no problem and even the preview of the taken picture shows i 3 sec, and then black screen again.

I re-installed the ROM and everything worked fine again.
Installed the photo fix HTC released the camera was bugged again, so uninstalled that and it worked. So that solved that.
the picture viewer would stuff up when I installed the 3D drivers. I want to keep these, so how do I associate the picture viewer to the images I take?
Also, I can't get the music tab up. Was it excluded in this ROM?

[Q] Legend button problem?

Hey XDA ..
My Legend have been doing a pretty weird thing lately.. Sometimes when I press the Menu button, it thinks I'm holding the Volume Down button. And of course it switches to silent mode and starts vibrating like hell ..
It stops when I press Volume Up or Menu. Afterwards won't any of the 2 and home buttons respond
After a little break or a reboot, it all goes back to normal... Well only sometimes ..
I think it is a software problem, so I did a hardreset but it didn't solve anything ?
My Legend was all stock with Android 2.1 .. It was not rooted or anything ..
I don't really have an idea what this is caused by.. so does any of you know wtf is going on or have a solution ?? Cause it pretty annoying

Sometimes pressing menu and back at the same time causes some really weird things to happen. I'm not sure of a solution, but it's always been a minor issue for me too. Although never in the same way as yours, not that bad.

Never had that problem before. But I do have the menu + back button issue, not a big deal though. My advice is your send your phone for warranty and have them check it out.

It did it several times yesterday and had to reboot all the time ..
Mine doesn't really seem to have that back and menu problem.. But what is it doing? Maybe I have the same issue without knowing it ?
But yeah could send it back for a check ...

I have the same problem.
I don't think its a software problem I rooted the phone to sereral roms even froyo (azure).
Now I'm back to stock 1.31.405.
I'am thinking to send it back for warranty but i'm afraid they won't do anything or see that i rooted the phone.
Please keep me update what your are going to do about it or if you find solution.

I also have the menu+back issue, maybe it is a feature (lol)
It is really weird: you push both buttons and the phone shakes and lags a little bit and after few seconds it vibrates three times. I have no idea why...
PS: I have not found any info googling about this.

Mine does the exact same problem After a couple of minutes of usage, the problem suddenly appears..
But I dont seem to have the Menu & Back problem ..?

Had a very similar problem with my first legend. It didn't happen with the menu button but the volume was constantly being turned down, as if I was holding the volume down button. Brought it back for a replacement and have had no trouble with my new one.

I have the exact same problem. I tried everything. I even sent my phone in for repair and they "fixed" it and sent it back but it still has the exact same problem.
It seems like a hardware problem with these phones.

My Legend is unbranded so no Froyo for me yet .. But hope I get it in a couple of days

Mine is just back from warranty, they just put new software on it. Played one hour with it and it seems normal.

After reading this thread I just realised holding Menu brings up keyboard..

I read somewhere that the pressing back + menu button thing is a way of producing bug report for ppl who are using custom rom? im not sure if custom launcher does that too though...
when i press menu and back nothing happens to me, stock 2.1 and sense.

I read that in the Cyanogen nightly thread also. Not too sure where the file ouput would be though, so its hard to check.

[Q] PROBLEM with proximity sensor working randomly

All of a sudden my proximity sensor started working weirdly: at random, during a phone call, it either works perfectly, or it turns off the screen when close to ear but then it does not turn it on when far from ear, or even worst it keeps the screen on even if close to ear.
Any idea?

This is driving me crazy...
I did a hard reset a few days ago cos of insane battery drain and now this problem is resolved but this new one came out...
It really behaves at random... u make a call and it works, u make another call and it doesn't, u make a third call and it works partially...

If you have done a hard reset and it still does it then its terminal hardware failure.
Try the hard reset method 1st and see if that fixes it.

actually...
... with original rom 1.44 this was working
... after upgrade to original rom 1.66 this was still working
... after hard reset still on original rom 1.66 this has stopped working
so no, I don't think it's an hardware problem.

I tried the pocket shield demo adn with its dialer the proximity sensor is working, so it must be a setting.... pls help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gingerbread 2.3.3 Home Problem

Hi guys are you having problems with home button? Mine wont work to go back to the home screen just to unlock the phone...

working fine on mine. i had a problem when i recieved a call tho. slid the bar across to answer it and it dissapeared so i couldnt answer the call

Give it time to "settle". A new flash may be a little buggy until everything is cached, etc. properly.

Its been one hour....weird bug...home button is so important...I hope sony releases one fix....

MY NOKIA 6 goes DEAD all of a sudden!

I have an issue with my nokia 6, it all of a sudden goes DEAD! nothing happens, no screen, no sound, just dead,
i have to press alll the keys for about 15seconds and it jolts out of the COMA! mode, and starts working fine!
has anyone else facing the same situation?
where can i get a 7.1.1 flashable rom or fimrware to update and see if this problem can be fixed!
pls share your feedbacks, so that i can fix this issue!

Theres no ROM available right now if im not wrong and even if there were, i dont think theres a tool currently available to flash it, unless someone can check the old nokia support tool for firmware and flashing process(highly doubt)

Dude, it seems more or less battery port/connections are loose. I don't think it has something to do with s/w. Open back lid and check if the battery is moving/wobbling.. I guess if you fix that you issue is fixed.

I'm having a different problem. External earphone not detected unless I press the jack slightly to the back.
I'm using Bluetooth earphone instead.

Hey, you do not know about the phone. The battery is internal. So it is not removal. You can see videos about nokia 6 opening in youtube.

Happen once to my N6 about two weeks ago, press all three buttons together to force shutdown and restart phone. Since then everything is fine.

Don't you have any warranty on the phone? Just contact support and ask for a repair.

I purchased Nokia 6 one month before. Now Apps are not responding. I tried to restart it now its not turning on. Android and Nokia logo is coming again and again on screen but not turning on. I also did hard reset but still same problem. kindly help

i also encountered the same problem. afterwards i do the same pressing 3 buttons togethyer for around 15 mins after my mobile starts again omg relief...
why this happens to nokia 6. i tried to start usually by pressing power button but no reaction after reading this msg only i tried pressing 3 buttons it came back alive:laugh: . my doubt is is this a big problem and will it happen again:crying:

Nokia 6 Frozen
I am also having a similar problem. The screen freezes, no buttons work. This issue has come 2 times over the last 20 days. Both times i was using the google navigator /maps and was shifting between applications --> and suddenly frozen. Since Nokia 6 does not have a removable battery , I had wait it out for another 5-6 hrs till battery drained completely and I recharged it. But during travel in unknown area when your phone abandons you, you feel handicapped.
