Hi I translated exe file for this Japanese program so I hope some of you will find it usefull, I allready opened tread in development and hacking but it was strictly because this tread was about translating exe file (hacking exe) and not networking. I think program is fully functional but I don't have access to PPPoE Wifi network so maybe some of you will give it a try cab file and translated exe are in this tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4420215 just give it a go and let me know how it works please.

I used a self extracting rom which ill e-mail you if you want as i dont have an ftp , you need to put you xda2 into to the cradle and run the file leave for 1/2 hour ish then hard reset

That won´t work, cause he has an "old" XDA and not the new XDA2...
The better way for him is reading a little bit in this forum. This question had been answered a few times. Also there is much about flashing the device. ROM´s can be found on some pages, edonkey, kitchen, ... many links in this forum.

I guess I should know this, but I'm not sure... can someone please tell me which version of CAB file should I run to install an application on my XDA Exec.... (MIPS, ARM or SH3).
I know I should be able to use ActiveSync to install apps on the XDA, but I cant get that to work, so Im reduced to installing CABs on the SDcard, and running them from there....
Can anyone please advise?

there should be a reg edit for it i dont remember but check in the rom development and you will find it there

you have to edit one file in the Windows folder.
Called: "HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml"
You have to search for your Location on one Page ... but i don't renember the name
After you have edit the file you have to copy it to windows again ... for this you can use "RescoExplorer", couse the file is Protected.
PS.: Sry for my bad englisch ... I'm German

I will cook my own german ROM, but I don't know how I can translate the contact Card from the Rhodium OEMs. When I use the XN Resource Editor it gives an error. And when I use the Res Hacker then the Contact Manager doesn't started after flash?! Whats my mistake?? Can anybody say me, what I must do, to translate it.
When I translate other programs it goes perfect!!!
