SETUP/USAGE

(SETUP)
1) Copy files to \windows folder
2) Create MMS/GPRS connection for your operator
3) Run \windows\MMSd.exe
4) Fill your operator's data in
(USAGE)
5) Now you can send/receive MMS
6) When MMS is received a message box appears asking you to "Download it now". Just choose to download it now
7) Wait for "Download Complete" message. Tap "Ok" and wait for "Files saved" message
8) When "Files Saved" message appears just choose to "Read MMS now". This will open your MMS in Pocket Internet Explorer
9) To send MMS: use Windows Explorer to find your multimedia file first
10) Then, tap and hold on this file until you get "Deliver via MMS" option in your tap-&-hold menu
11) Choose this option and fill in all needed information

q: I got error while downloading my MMS can I re-download it?
a: Open your \Temp folder, find file with "Envelope" icon and tap on it. Then choose to 'Download it now'
q: to correctly display name of senders
a: make sure they comply to int'l notation of +{country code}{area/city code}{phone number}
q: 3gp/mp4 playback
a: You need to use external player to play content of such type
q: where are the notification messages? i.e. New MMS received and etc...
a: First, uninstall all other MMS-related software (ArcSoft's, EZWap's, Pixar's...) and Second, check your operator's service timeout policy, e.g. when you don't pickup MMS for a while your operator may disable this service for you and you will need to re-activate it again

I have a problem
I have XDA II and I've install this application, and saved the configuration now when i try to send mms say:

a new problem
Hi, i have solved simply to unistall and intall again, now a new problem i try to receive an mms but when I push ok to donwnload now say:
establishing modem connections...
Connection Error
Port opening error, disconnect from other GPRS connections first.
But why? i only set in settings ----> connection the same parameters like in winndows 2003 with apn...... Please help me thanks

Facing some wierd error ...
Could u please help on this... I've succesfully installed your application and have also applied all the required settings. Now whenever I plan to sent a file, it starts sending alomst 6% to 12% of the msg, but then fails and gives me an error claiming that the msg has failed...
Could u plz tell me what I'm doing wrong ...

Like so many people, I had problem with my wifi
Very very slow, its was crazy to download files and use youtube
Yesterday I setup android 4.3 factory but nothing. Don't fix this problem
To day I come back on 4.2.2, I root my phone and unlock.
No special rom or Kernel
In this file : etc/wifi/WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini
I change this lines with Es explorateur :

Problems accessing a password protected website in an android webview

Hi,
i just wanted to write a short webview based app to view a password-protected webpage, so it is not accessable for everyone (without user/pw) from a usual browser. i use android-studio.
In a Browser i access the website by typing it's url and enter username and password in the upcoming pop-up window or by including the username/password into the url like:
<username>:<passwort @subdomain domain tld / folder /
when i used a WebView element trying to load an unprotected website it works fine in emulator and on the real device i've tested it on, but when i try to load a website that requires authetification it works fine on the emulator but doesn't work on my real devices.
My Samsung GT-i9305 shows me the "401 Authorization Required" page i get when i cancel the pop-up.

i see, it doesn't authenticate using the user/pw-.information from the url.
how can i tell the webview to authenticate with given user/password
but i can't find an other way to tell the webview not to ignore the authentication.
i read to use the "onReceivedHttpAuthRequest (WebView view, HttpAuthHandler handler, String host, String realm)"
but don't know how to get a httpauthhandler that tells the webview to give prestored usernames.
am i stupid?
the developerpages from google can't really help me

How to get maximum out of this smartphone

Sleep and wake without using power button
Because Double Tap functions are disabled FOR NOW and because unlocking bootloader in order to root will be registered by Huawei/Honor and will make you pay more in case of assistance, here is a way to ease the use of power button and have a WANNABE sleep&wake double tap function on this phone.
First you must enable and register Fingerprint ID from Setting. Then go to Fingerprint management, insert PIN (if any) then activate Unlock screen. This way you'll have the unlock screen option by finger print.
In order to put to sleep you must install a Fingerprint gesture app, like this one

From this app enable the Single tap action to Sleep. Thus you'll have the Sleep option by fingerprint.
Why not installing a Double Tap or Screen on/off application? Because I haven't found any that works. Most of them apply a dark filter over the screen thus consuming more battery.
Please let me know your ways of putting to sleep and waking up the phone.

I went to built.prop, to modify and activate as for emui 5.0.1.
this in phone settings, worked it is written but does not work.
if I put the phone in sleep and I tap tap, it does not wake up, it bug the screen remains frozen on the lock screen.
I must force the restart.
I continue the search.

What's the modify you've made?
As far as I've read this is a two steps procedure. The first one is to root and SuperSU and modify build.prop and the second part is to activate it from the settings, where a new option will appear and you modify build.prop and rebooted phone.

et oui mon téléphone est root. sr5-supersu
et j'utilise root browser+buxybox,
Go to system / build.prop
Add this line: ro.config.hw_easywakeup = true
Go to product / etc / prop / local.prop
Find ro.config.hw_easywakeup = false and change it to true
Go to system / emui / base / xml
Find hw_easywakeupmotion_config.xml
Find this line: EasyWakeupMotion name = "Double_Touch" support = "1" value = "0" flag = "0" keycode = "131" "
Change to value = "1"

Looks OK. After that have you enabled Double tap from Settings –> Smart Assistance –> Motion Control?
This feature might not be available though on al Huawei/Honor devices, even after root and modification.

Newbie: GPS problem with Core Plus

Hi all, hi tim,
I'm new in smartphone world but I am "hacking" lover and want to play with my girlfriend old Core Plus.
I enabled debugger mode, Installed TWRP and lineage-13.0-20170524-UNOFFICIAL-cs02.zip ROM (tim's 3.4.5+, Android 6.0.1).
I tried many ROMs but other have problem at boot ("trebuchet" loops chash).
Maybe it's because data and system were not correctly wiped (error during ROMs deployment, I had to manually delete /data and /system using ADB)...
Is there a way to install new rom without loosing data ?
Using OTA updates ? Currently it does not found any update ("No items available").
My main problem is GPS does not work:
