Please help i have been trying to upgrade from WM 6.1 to WM 6.5 HTC diamond, i have downloaded several versions and they all get to the stage where the ROM is being upgraded and a screen pops up saying this will only take 10 mins, but it takes much more time, at the same time my phone will boot to a screen show 0% and just gets stuck, if i reboot the phone everything returns to WM 6.1.
I hope to get some help soon. thanks guys for your great work in this forum.

you can find the rom for WM6.5,someone has updated it from WM6.1 to WM6.5.iF you want to try it ,you can download it from the forum.
I have tried 2 but my Diamond hangs on the splash screen everytimt. Any suggestion for the best 6.5 ROM for Diamond 1 in the forums?

hey .. i just got a new htc herald ( htc p4350 )
it has WM 5 .. please i want to run touchflo manila2d on it , if i cant .. where do i download the official WM 6 upgrade ?? and after i upgraded it can i go back to WM 5 since it might be too slow or i might just not like it.. please help me
you should upgrade to 6.5! there are some roms also with manila.
you can downgrade your herald every time to each version. 5 or 6
but if you have 6.5 you wount downgrade to it, because its realy fast and fingerfriendly.

Hi there! I observed a problem after i flashed my P3300 with wm 6.1 ROM ( i had WM6.5 Babelut rom before) my phone was going offline all by itsself but on the screen it apeared that it was on and when i tried to call someone it asked for pin , i flashed another 6.1 rom and this time i couldn't send sms , when the phone was going in sleep mode it didn't wake up with power button only with hard reset, my songs were playing very fast (pitch) i returned to WM6.5 babelut and every thing is fine, i used uspl everytime and my spl is 1.11cmon.
Any ideas?? TY in advance.
Doesn't anyoane have any clue regarding this? I know i have seen somewhere a tutorial about reverting a wm6.5 phone to a 6.1 i just can't remember where
I think it's a problem with your radio version; It might be only compatible with wm6.5. Try downgrading your radio rom, or keep wm6.5.

I had installed WM 6.5 (upgraded from 6.1) on my HTC Maple. Today I installed 3VOLUTION SERIES but it had some problems and i want again to install back 6.5 Original version.
I downloaded from HTC website official version of 6.5 but installation fails on 29%. I tried to do it again and again but I get same error every time. It says thats there is connection problem, but mobile is normally connected to my PC.
I searched the whole forum but i have not found anything about this problem, If there were any theads, please mention it in comment and then close the topic.

I am planing to purchase one windows mobile company called Digibee its from Bangalore-India. It has WM 6.1 version preinstalled in it.
Earlier I have HTC Excalibure to which I have flashed n mumbers of time to WM 6.5.
Now my query is, can v flash any WM 6.1 to WM 6.5.
Pl. advice.

I think you can, but first search for a 6.5 or 6.5.x rom suitable for your phone. I have a Samsung Omnia i900 which comes with WM 6.1 Pro, now I have cooked (custom) WM 6.5.3 Pro flashed on it and it's working even much better and faster than the preinstalled WM 6.1 Pro. much more memory too.
Just use the Search field for what you need
But the best thing to do is to ask the phones company is it can be upgraded, byt be ware that flashing with custom rom will erase your warranty, but I think you already know all these things cuz like you said, you've already did flashing new rom

Karan it is very good that u know coocking rom. I also have purchased this wm 6.1 DIGIBEE phone. I also trying to update it to 6.5 but .nb0 rom it is not working. I was using the GYGABYTE i120 gsmart phone & i updated it to 6.5 from 6.1 it was also working very fine. The same ROm i tried for DIGIBEE but it didnt find any ROM on SD CARD
Bythe way somebody tell us how to coock won rom. procudure???

Yes of-course you can go for it, you'll never get a windows mobile with good specs at this low price . Its performance was almost same as my previous HTC Fuze (Touch Pro), and it was running under Windows Mobile 6.1.I was searching for its stock ROM so that i can start experiment on it with other ROMs.
And many of the driver files in our digibee matches with Samsung i900 Omnia (Such as, board, processor (Marvell PXA31x), display, battery etc), and if I find digibee stock ROM then ill experiment with i900 ROMs.

Disappointed performance
I am very much disappointed with this device. I cannot load most of the apps found on the net. Installation is a problem and where installation is not a problem the battery heats up like an iron box and drains fast. I wouldnt recommend this for any one.
Under these conditions I dont think any modification like upgrading to WM6.5 will be possible.
