Opera Mobile 9.5 beta QVGAskin???

Hi, I'm Italian and i speak english not very well, excuse me for the error.
I have install opera mobile 9.5 beta but the default skin in for VGA display, I look in this forum and I have extract the file standard_skin.zip in the folder Opera9\skin but the skin no change. How do I do?

I've used the search and was able to find the QVGA install CAB within seconds!

I tried last week this QVGA link (from first news) but it was QVGA
I found version with real QVGA interface which you can install (80%) on storage card too: http://rapidshare.com/files/92004777/opera9_fixed.rar.html
But I suppose that all avaible version have inteligent zoom designed for VGA screen.
PS: Cristian1982 - I'm not "english man" too and mistakes in english aren't important becuse we all are friends

The zip file should not be extracted.. What you do is leave the .zip file as it is in the Opera9\skin directory.

opera mini with jawa emulator for ppc (easy install)!!

hi to all.
after some serching in jawa emulators and opera mini,i find this solution that really rocks
JRebeiro_EsmertecJbed (jawa emulator cab for ppc) with mini opera 4.0
one click install.
unzip files in your storage card.
run JRebeiro_EsmertecJbed cab
restart your phone
then go
start/programs/Esmertec Jbed/Menu/Install/local files and when it finds mini opera do the install
with the same way,install most of your favourites jawa games

Which Java VM..?

Hi all..! I have a euro niki 100, and just upgraded to Windows mobile 6.1 using the official rom update from HTC.. Speeds etc is better with 6.1..
However, i've encountered one minor issue with this upgrade.. It ships with Esmertec Jbed. And I guess this particular build doesn't play nice with Opera Mini.
The included build (i guess in the rom upgrade) is build 20080131. Opera Mini does work, however, the workarounds for getting it to work as signed (without the annoying nag screens) don't seem to work for me anymore. I think the old Java Vm version is the culprit. Is this version update-able..? I mean, i can't remove the current version using add/remove programs on the device.. Or is there a better Java VM out there, which would allow me to run, say Nokia s60 games aswell..? (read something about that aswell..) Some pointers please..? TIA

Well, at least i have it fixed with the Esmertec jbed version that's in the default wm 6.1 update.
The workaround thats posted everywhere (edit the selector.utf file) doesn't seem to work (anymore?) because another file is missing (either in WM6.1 or in the newer version of Opera Mini, i don't know, would guess the latter..)
Anways, the solution to this "problem" is almost the same as in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380504
In short; edit the selector.utf file as mentioned in the thread.. You should be able to find it in the \Windows\appdb directory on your device. Then, and this differs from the thread mentioned before, don't create or look for a JavaDb folder in your \Application Data directory, cause it doesn't exist. Instead, place the posted policy.utf file in the \Windows\appdb directory for the selector.utf fix to work. Kinda stupid i didn't try this before, but the search on XDA din't help me out there either so..
Now to see how Java games run on this Esmertec Jbed client..

Extended Rom ?

Hey !
Anyone knows how to access it on the X1?
Typing /extended_rom using Total Commander does not work.
I want to restore my original Operaversion with the original cab....
I do have a X1 rom-image. But how to convert/access it ?
UPDATE:
I found a ROM-View/Edit program here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=377514
Renaming the x1___.image to x1_____.nbh was the solution.
Then I could open it with the Rom-Viewer and extract the german cabs.

the cab for opera is already on your x1
its in the windows folder
wm6.1_PPC_DAWN_opera_2141.CAB
As are all the other original install files

Hi everybody! I'm really like operamini version 6 but it does'nt support for window mobile.It's very fast but a jar file not cab.How can i get operamini 6 include java jblend in one cab file?
