Sense like UI in a current rom? - myTouch 3G, Magic General

I fully understand that there will be an update for the 32A magics in october. I would like to know if any of the current roms look like/are based off of the Sense UI? or are they all android based?

can official sense UI upgrade be done on rooted phones using custom roms???
mine is HTC magic 32A vietnam model and i'm using Gyd2.1 as my custom rom.
There was an official Sense UI update in taiwan for the HTC Magic, but I don't think anyone has managed to port it to any other Magic.
there is no need of porting the rom in my case as my serial no(of my htcmagic) was accepted when i checked for updates on htc south asia website and it said that rom upgrade is available for my phone.
But at this point of time i'm not using a stock rom.So i was afraid the in case i upgrade over a coustom rom than it might brick my devices(which is rooted).
Most of the Sense UI ROMs for 32A in the Development section are based off the Taiwanese Sense UI update.
CurseSense, HoFo, MyHero, etc.

Is it possible to flash a rom if you are running a sdcard ported android system?

I have a touch pro 2...I am running the most recent android build for my touch pro 2. I looked at the system details and its reading that the build is the dream aka the g1. Im really feeling the the new sense user interface and as of right now I know there are alot of flashable roms to get the hero's sense ui on the g1.
So is it possible to flash a rom if you are running a ported android build
No, don't even try it. You could permenatly brick your phone. You don't have a G1 theirfore your device has different system requirements.

[Q] Stock rom

Hi there!
For the mytouch 4G phone from t-mobile, it doesn't come with vanilla android (the stock android O.S).
So, once rooted, is it possible to flash it with the Stock Android 2.2 O.S? That does not have T-mobile's junk? If so, where or how can I find it?
I came upon several links, but wasn't certain. Also, what does it mean by RUU rom?
thanks!
I have no idea what RUU to be honest, never used one but I think it's the factory image that's used to bring phone back to stock, not sure if there's one for MT4G
There's no official vanilla 2.2 rom for this phone. The closest thing you can have is CyanogenMod. 2.2.1 is in RC2 stage and is very stable. 2.3 (gingerbread) is in unofficial alpha stage. It's very stable (as far as people say) but has it's bugs and there no official support from CM for it, only community. All other roms out there are sense based. All roms are in Development section.
Obviously, you need to be rooted to flash any of those.
Good luck.
RUU = ROM Upgrade Utility. It is essentially the rom that ships with the phone. You are correct in saying there is no true vanilla Android ROM. OP's best bet is to go with CM as you suggested as it is Vanilla Android with some features added and closest to pure android you're going to get.

is there a sense 2.3.4 desire s official port?

is there a sense 2.3.4 desire s official port?

What you see in the development section is what we have.

[Q] Wildfire Non-HTC Stock ROM?

Hey guys, i really just want to flash a ROM to my wildfire that does not have HTC branded all over it as in my eyes HTC Sense is a pain in the bum and all it does is take power and performance so what I would like to know is, is there a FROYO ROM made for the wildfire without sense for example a port of an untouched nexus 2.1 ROM or something like that?
please don't tell me to use a launcher or to download a heavily edited ROM that has bloat ware all over it plus i do not want gingerbread.

I would have recommended OpenFire as well, since it is a pure untouched AOSP Froyo ROM, but the D/L link is dead, and there's no alternative location to download it yet. An alternative should be UtMostROM (Based off OpenFire)

Remember though, all of these are minus FM Radio, and Video Recording.
Lastly, you can look at Hybrid ROMs as well, which keep the Sense Framework, but replace the Sense Apps:
