NL O2 XDA updated and unlocked SUCCESFULL

1 - installed Microsoft ActiveSync version 3.6

2 - connected XDA to SERIAL Cradle
3 - Updated rom's to version Radio 4.16 and Rom 3.15.15

4 - uninstall Microsoft ActiveSync
5 - hold powerbutton and reset XDA you will see a screen Wallaby Bootloader version 5.14 put it back in SERIAL Cradle.
Use the XDA-Developers tool to remove the SID lock
6 - tested it with a KPN sim, exellent very easy

I just bought my XDA second-hand (from June 2002...) and want to use it for my existing T-Mobile (formerly Ben :lol: ) account.
I wonder which serial cable or cradle you use, where to buy it and how much €€€€€ that one is, because I still have to buy one.
And thanx for posting al the URLs, that will make my life very easy once I get the serial cable/cradle...

Might check on this site, I picked mine up from the American site but this is there International Site. I know it goes for around 20 American dollars not sure what that might amount to for you.

If you can - like you did for AMEO, give 3 free codes away, and reduce your asking price...definitely below current T-Mobile rate (£15), then you may get some biz.

OK I got tupisdin's free unlock code and I can confirm that it works 100% to remove the SIM lock.
It was a simple code you enter directly to the Artemis, no need to fight Windows to flash, He provided a fast an efficient simple service that noone else claims to be able to offer except possibly your phone network themselves.
Now tupisdin has said honestly up fron that he wishes to charge for this and make some money for himself. I will leave it for him to provide complete details, but he will accept Paypal. I will say he's not asking anything like $100 that was bounded around in the Ameo thread. I have pointed out how much imei-check charge.

Both of mine certainly are.

German Orbit - simlock free.

It may well be, I have not tried. All the other phone I have ever had from O2 were though, so it may well be.

THIS CODE WORKS....period ! ! !
I tried an Orange, Vodafone and O2 SIMs...they all worked fine !
And I am not screaming it cos I got a free code, but because all you do is input a code, after inserting another Carrier SIM into your phone.
I can remember sleepness nights with pof, perjan(even bricking his phone)...and all the others trying means to provide a SIM unloker for the ARTEMIS....though theirs was to be a free one.
Now to the more serious bit......tupisdin.
I can see in other threads, people make donations to XDA Dev forum, and you give them the codes, others suggesting you want $100, by Western Union sent to you.
Make it clear now, what are the options for getting this code.

What are the costs ?
I would like to get a code. Can you tell me what you need from me and also what the costs are ? Hope to hear from you soon. Thxx already.

20 Pounds (about 30 euro) wasn't cheap but still the cheapest solution for me! With the simlock I was unable to call

i can't pick it up because i'm not skilled, i'm just a good webdevelopper (php, xhtml, sql). i dont know C, java, python,etc...

Neither do I...I only administer Unix, LInux and Oracle too...
@soardiac - Tupisdin is even unavailable, he advises to use imei-check too
@abuabuabu - My handset was replaced under warranty....hence I lost my already SIM unlocked PPC...and may have to pay for this to be opened again !

An humble request to tg01 users

Hello All,
I have done lot of work earlier with lot many phones, but first time it has happenned that rom cooking costed me 2 TG01, yes, i bricked 2 TG01 , the recent one bricked while flashing 6.5.5 24001.
This is still mystry to me.I request, if i can get help, with any means possible, not necessary donations, but if anyone have a used tg01, or somene can arrange me a motherboard, that is fine with me.I will pay for motherboard/used unit
This is just a request, I hope am right mentioning it here.

u should try contact toshiba and ask for some non-guarantial repair quotes
theyll do anything if the price is rite , like all the companys , im sure
looks like in hd2 theres an option to fiddle around with it in bootloader if u plug it to the pc , u might wanna try something similar

May be someone from toshiba told you not official (if you pay him) how to flash tg01 with use PC?
then bootloader won't be needed.

You should contact stepw but btw try to do like l3v5y did, charge TG01 while its turned off and then try to enter bootloader via shortpin

Email toshiba and tell them that the phone has died over night and you have no proof of purchase and they should tell you the place to seen the phone of too as it is still under warranty,happen to my one when i bricked it,not sure what i had been but was sent back a new phone.

i have used ur roms on devices for which little or no support is availablle, asus p320, asus p550, acer e101, acer f1,acer dx650 are a few of them.
i bought tg01 only because u were gonna make wm6.5.5 for it and i consider my responsiblity and duty to help in this one.
i have donated RS.5000 (approx 110 usd) in ur pay pal.
thats all i can do but count me in if u need any help, my tg01 is ur tg01 brother.

hmm not the first time this has happened. I do remember someone on here selling android roms HOWEVER he did get permission and used to give the dev like 40% of the selling price

He's not selling the "rom" at all, they are selling a upgrade service!!
This is EXACTLY the same as paying somebody to install/setup linux OS or linux software for you. What these dumbass's are buying is the service of getting somebody else to install it for you.
