Hi!
Does someone know for the application which could lock phone so others couldn't use it when you're not around?
User interface would be like lock of the safe.
Example:
This would me great.
i'd like too
s2u2 has a password lock on it so that even if someone soft resets your device, they can't access it without the password.

Throttlelock has a cool feature where you connect the dots in a certain pattern to unlock the phone. You can change the grid size, and of course the path to unlock the device.

I personally use S2u2 with no password set, but if theres a time I need to lock the phone from prying eyes, I can launch ThrottleLock manually.
I know about s2u2 and throttle launcher...they work nice but i would like safe looking user interface.
Then use the built in one.
Use it for years now. I made it lock the device after 5 minutes, so noone can use it even if I loose it once
Btw: The built-in one is the only one which locks at boot and also in a way it can't be unlocked without the password or hardreset (afaik)

Just sharing what I found:
Screen Rotator detects the orientation of the device and uses its built-in configuration dialogues to create rotation behavior rules for specific applications, with an extended option to blacklist and whitelist un/wanted programs. A very neat feature is that it will turn the screen off if the device is placed face down but it also has a great option to prevent the screen from going off automatically if the device is not perfectly laid down flat (otherwise, when flat, normal behavior occurs).
After downloading and installing it to Device, it will stay resident after launching and get the device orientation in order to properly rotate the Windows environment, though it has options for minimizing and hiding.

P.S. Hope the real developer will notice this thread (unless he has done so), and maintain it, after deleting this thread completely and openning a new one, as this is a great application with some extra cool functions, compared to SKKV Software’s GSen.
Noticed the thread is there ..... ADMINS ... kindly remove this thread completely, thank you.
Currently I am wondering if there is a way to disable the way the phone automatically locks the phone out via PIN code every time you hit the standby button, without disabling the unlock screen via slider function. So in other words the only way the phone will ask for an unlock code is when you first turn the phone on or when the time threshold in the security settings is reached.
The reason I am looking for this is because I have the phone recovery tool installed on my phone and I would like the ability to remotely lock the phone, however I don't want to have to input my PIN code EVERY time I put the phone into standy especially since I already have throttlelock installed on the device, but still want to retain the keyguard slider unlock function whenever the standby button is pressed.
Have you tried:
Settings
Security
Then input your desired settings?

There is no such option.

Since installing the latest version of Omega(v33) for the i9505 I've been unable to use a pattern lock screen, instead the option is grayed out like below

}
I haven't encrypted my device and there isn't any administrator set
I've attempted to clear credentials like below, but after clearing credentials the button (clear credentials) doesn't go grey.
And still can't set a pattern lock screen as described earlier
What's going on? How do I fix?

Well it's an app or a setting that is causing it. But it's hard to say what is causing it.
My suggestion would be to do a full wipe. That would be the easiest method.
Agree with the wipe
In my experience, something in the framework or security settings can cause that. Full wipe and if you are running some kind of AOSP lockscreen disable it. Also watch out for xposed modules that are tweaking your lockscreen.
Screen Lock
I had the exact same problem. Do you have an exchange email account for possibly work on your phone? The new upgrade will only allow for PIN or Password if you have an exchange account. I had a long, long wait with technicians before it was apparent.
Hi. I don't know if this is the correct section to post this. What I'm basically looking for is a way to stop the lock screen showing the "Enter Backup Password", and stop making it that little bit duller when on fingerprint mode.
I would like it if there was an option to make the screen exact same as the normal swipe lock, but not lock unless there's a fingerprint.
Does that make sense lol?

Anyone got any ideas/mods? My device is rooted on 5.0.1
thanks

Wrong section...there is a Help section for question....
If I understood correctly, you wish to remobe the Backup password text as well as the dialer when you have fingerprint mode active?I don't think you can do that without root...
Hi,
is there some option which will leave phone unlocked for specific time after last use ? Like when I am in dark room face recognition does not work and I dont want to put finger or pattern everytime that message comes. IPhone has app called Mesalation for that and I am so used to it.
So basically I want to leave everything ON but I want to be without security stuff for a specific time every time after I lock the phone. Leaving screen on for specific time is not an option, I lock it everytime with a button.
Thanks
There is something like this in Settings>Lock Screen and Security>Secure lock settings. Uncheck Power button instantly locks and set auto lock delay to the amount you need.

Wow that was fast and accurate ! Bravo !
I have Croatian language on it so translation is in half the cases idiotic like this one. This phone has more options to set the phone for your needs than HTC U11 and iPhone 7 combined.
Thanks a lot !
