Hi been looking everywhere on this site and all over the net and I cant really find any themes that fit my samsung omnia which has wqvga resolution. Can someone please help me find some as I really want some of the really good themes on this board but I dont know which ones fit wqvga.
thanks
Hello my friend :]
These are some themes specially designed for samsung omnia that
Supports Resolutions:
QVGA (240x320)
WQVGA (240x400)
VGA (480x640)
http://www.imarche.net/omnia/
===================
Installation Instructions:
-------------------------
1) If you haven't installed mobile shell before, skip to step 2.
Run UnInstall.mscr to REMOVE the previous version (this will completely remove the
'SpbMobileShellSkins' folder from your "My Storage" / "Storage Card".)
2) Extract the .zip file into the root of your desired storage location.
3) Using your device, open File Explorer and find your desired installation
location (as above). Go to 'SpbMobileShellSkins\Scripts'. In here run the
file 'Mortscipt.exe'. This will enable the other scripts to run.
4) In File Explorer, run the file "Install_WQVGA.mscr"and set your LANGUAGE.
5) You will notice 28 other scripts like Luna_Paper.mscr. Each time you run
one of these, when you go to SPBShell/Programs/Tools/SBP Skins a new skin
will become available. If you want all 28, then run all 28 scripts.
Check the website for screenshots.
6) SOFT RESET the device or run the script "ScanStatus.mscr".
Having trouble?
- If all goes wrong, or you don't like the new skins, you can revert to
the original skin by running the 'Orignal.mscr' script!
- If the link into the Spb Skins sub-menu doesn't work, CREATE IT AGAIN
tapping on the relative .mscr script from the Scripts folder.

TIP : you can perform a system format incase something goes wrong with your omnia by switching the phone on while holding both call and end call . This will allow you to format the device and go back to initial setting like the first time you switched your omnia on.
ok thanks but how come all the people on here that are making class themes dont make em for wqvga aswell?
first: a skin for what ???
second: omnia is new and the only phone with that resolution and making a skin needs many days of work. so why should anyone do that for one percent of the users for free?
first: why are u having a go im only askin
second: the phone has been out for months and this is a place littered with wm themes so im askin if theres any for omnia and why there isnt
third: get over yaself
whats your problem ?
i just asked you for what application you want a theme/skin because you wrote nothing about it. and then i answered your question why there aren't so many out. so please dont post here anymore if you have a question or need help noob.
bad..
the first three posts and what an awful behaviour....
First while there is a wealth of WM information on this forum just remember at the end of the day this is a HTC Forum, not a Samsung Forum.
With that said, I'm a omnia user as well and I would suggest you check out some other forums like Modaco as they have a specific forum for Omnia and you will find more information you might be looking for there.
There will be some discussion on xda forum and I make it a habit to keep in touch with several forums as to broaden my knowledge base.

Awesome collection. Let's keep adding things like that... than we can shape this thread into something that easily flows and is easily searched and read. Right now, we're just throwing things together and "brainstorming"...or should I said... "threadstorming". Hehe
nice collection dude
For let this thread a bit clear for newcomers, isnt better to edit NRGZ post instead make a new post?
Thanks.

It's probably best to have folks post link to other resources for the moment so as to allow NRG to collect, review, and organize them in some order. That said, I agree that we shouldn't allow the thread to grow to a point that it contains too many pages.

Cheers,
I wish I could have found this a few months ago ....
Anyways, here are my two cents on this:
This is a fantastic idea since information is scattered throughout the site when it comes to cooking instructions. There is no single guide on how to do this and most people have different takes on how to do certain things. Having a centralized cooking resource (sub-forum) is by far the best idea I have seen in xda in the last couple of years.
Now, there is one other thing. I know that most of the information posted is for newer devices (meaning any device whose rom extension is nbh. I personally have a Blue Angel, which has roms with extension nbf. Cooking for these devices is a completely different story since porting is different as well. I will add a few links that I found along the way for cooking nbf roms, but if any of you have any good guides about this, please share them
All in all, NRG, you have outdone yourself once again!
Congrats and let me know if I can be of any help!
Dotcompt's EXT collection
Hi guys
Regarding Dotcompt's EXT collection kindly posted by NRGZ28 in the first post:
I have extended these Leaked exts to other devices resolution like HVGA or QVGA instead of WVGA only.
So for a start, I added the HVGA - Photon EXT EastEurope_1.06.479.2_Manila_Core_2_5_20131825_0, and you can find it in the original thread.
I also asked Daveshaw to move this thread from Rhodium sub-forum to the Windows Mobile Development and Hacking > Windows Mobile Software Development forum.
Thanks
Great!!
But can you point me on QVGA version one? i cant find any QVGA in you thread.
Thanks.

Here's a link to the Extendir thread. Even if you don't want to use (I don't use it myself), it's very good reading, and has a lot of great info. The thread itself should probably be moved over to this forum. It might cut down on the noobs who periodically poke their heads in and ask for a .cab.
Hey guys,
Great work going on here, let me know if i can be of some help here, collating, moving and deleting etc.
Cheers and keep it up
Tim.
Hi, usually I just use reza's pre made wvga 0409 packages and they work great, but I cant rely on him to update all the time, and so I feel I need to learn how to do it easily and fast, I have a vague idea but still am useless at it and normally mess it up. I cant find any particularly simple and easy guides here on xda.. I thought it might be a good idea to have indexed here in chef central, a little tutorial/guide on how to update the sys and sort it into the different folders suck as 0409,COMMON ect...
Thanks and sorry if its a hassle
hi
For example if you taken the rollup packages you have all languages and resolution......u can use the "Dump sorter" for sorting for your Resolution and language and it will delete other languages and resolutions...u can put ur language code and resolution and it will do the rest for you once u done it wii give readymade sys packages for your visual kitchen........hope it will help for you.......

Hi there,
The best way to get help is to go over to the Chef Central forum.
WB
how are the url of this forum?
Under google i find many xda forms, but witch of this is the right one?
regarts!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=612
Try a little bit harder next time, and I´m sure you´ll find it yourself.
i don't wanna appear to be newbie bashing, but let's be honest, if you can't put "chef central xda" into google, there's no way you're gonna be cooking roms any time soon.
i have used many already customised roms and would love to make one of my own...
can u help me how can i do and what kitchen should i use for Blackstone ?
please show me a full tutorial page .... i have a lot free time to make and test ROMs ...
Suggest to search and download the OsKitchen from the Chef Central forum.
there is plenty of tutorials there. If not pls check the sticky in this forum and you will see the virtual kitchen tutorial.
