I am using gtrabs version fo the barebonme xperia ROM. Works like a charm, except that one of my applications that require on screen kayboard, does NOT pop up the leybaord. So i have to use the Slider keyboard.
Anyone has any idea what path or link is the soft keyboard exe file in windows directory?.
If someone can tell me the path, i can program it to open up.
Thanks
UPDATE: 26/10/2009 Firstly I would like to apologise for the lack of updates but I have had a very busy last few weeks both personally anred professionally.
I have now completely rewritten the .cpr file to be better suited to our phones and although you may not find it exactly the same as the original Titanium, I think its a good effort and a good match. Again this is a BETA release, so everything may not be perfect. I am also working on being able to change between Titanium and Sliding Panels, but I don't when I can complete that. Thank you to all those who have already downloaded.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After having downloaded ALEUT's new 6.5 rom last nite, I started to work on a few things. So far I have made Titanium work for 176x220 screens, but please remember this is a very early alpha and has been ported from a 240x320 .cpr file, and I am continuing to work to make it work properly.
The second thing is that ALEUT's 6.5 Menu Style was a bit green for my liking, so I decided to make a blue one instead and thought it would be nice to share it.
I've been a long time reader and user of XDA, but rarely have posted my works. Hope someone might find them useful.
Dear neodoughnut
its really nice theme but there is a problem in this theme after fresh installation when i install it it works fine but when i install something eles any app then after restart there is no more that themes remain in my Spv c500 i tried again and again but same problem?
Luckylips: I'm sorry to hear that you are encountering this problem. I've installed most of my regular apps since having installed the MenuStyle but haven't had any problems so far. Is there any app in particular that causes this or is just anything that install?
Well i don't think there is any particular app ! whatever i install and after that when i reboot my cell theme is no more!!
Is there any plugins that can be used for this titanium? I mean, weather, launcher, or etc?
Fix

No more Homescreen available... :-(
Hello,
I seem to have the same problem with the Titanium theme. I installed it and once I reboot, no more Home Screen can be found.
About the new files from the fix? Where do I have to put them? \Application\Home ? Is there a way i can edit a file to get back to the normal homescreen? I really do not want to reset my phone to defaults.
I hope somebody can help me out here.
Thanks
@oolinger
u should copy them in \aplication data\home.
then select titanum home screen in setting>homescreen
but the main problem of this cab is cpr file u shold use this cpr
With the new .cpr you gave on desktop appears the message:
"The layout you have selected cannot be loaded...please use...."
hello..
first, has anyone addressed the issue of Fim not working without using the external browser setting for winmo 6.5.3+
every 6.5 rom ive flashed fim works just fine can look at all my notification and inbox in the program itself
...anything above 6.5 = no dice
my second question is...is there any reason the AT&T keyboard cab wouldnt change the layout in a tmob based rom?
im using J Lavoie 23541 sense 2.5 and the keyboard cab has no effect at all on the keyboard.
thanks
keyboard fix
ok, figured out the keyboard issue by searching for a long time and trying different orders of installing these. make sure to do it in this order.
install the att keyboard cab
then install the rhodiumkbd cab
restart
settings, system, keyboard config
menu, config, load... goto where these are on your phone and choose the xml file
after it says its configed, click update config on bottom left.
and there u go
fixed keyboard
as for the Fim, seems using the external browser was the fix for the internal internet not working, so maybe the next released update of Fim will fix this

Guys,
I found a new version of the HTC Messaging client version HTCMessaging_Client_1_8_20152127_00. It is a part from a new rom version 2015. I have all the files (see attachment), but I don't know how to make a cab file from it. Also I am not sure if all the files are the correct WWE files.
Anybody to help?

these are not WWE
This HTC Messaging Client is from a CHT ROM, right? If that's the case, it might not support other characters than CHT ones! Had such an issue when I tried a SKT-based Messaging Client from Leo_SKT_1.78.911.1 ROM!
I can make a cab for you, but what's news on this version?
New version is MUCH faster... It's now realy usable. Still a lot of bugs while receiviing sms is messaging window.
CAB have proper 409 mui and send button:
Disable Manila > install > reset > Enable Manila

here the cab!
sorry i don't see the post of krogoth! Choose your cab so
how come the file size is so different. 6.68mb vs 2.32mb

Hum now my cab is about 3.3Mo (i update it (V2)) i use compress and he uses normal!
krogoth's .cab installs on energyRom rhodium, plain 2.5 on 23xxx. still checking features, but seems to be fine so far. I'll report speed after restoring SMS from MyPhone.
G-ThGraf's .cab installs, but does not integrate with NRGZ28's sense.

Thanks for the cab! This is a version without the secure box. Can you please make a cab with the mui for secure box included?
Thanks again, anyway.
I have not tested it yet, but here's HTC Messaging Client v1.8.2016 from the Rom that has Manila 2015 core. I included the 0409 files I use with V1.8.2015. (This is an EXT package is someone wants to create a cab from it)
I also attached the Send key files so you have the send icon, instead of the CHT text where the send icon should be.
i can work on it but i'm curently using manila core 2013
I am desperately waiting for this cab.. Did anyone make a cab out of this..

hey G-ThGraf,
i cant seem to get this to work and i have several questions which i'd really appreciate if you could enlighten me.
1) what is the difference between 2015 and 2016, and why the 1 vs 3 mui files?
2) are the steps to delete and restore messages necessary for the installl to work or are they in place to simply protect ones messages? i ask because i dont care about my messages and it is a bit of a pain to delete, save, restore.
3) regardless of how i attempt to do this i always end up with one of two results:
a) i cannot access my text message application at all
b) i can briefly open the text message app, but it quickly closes and i cannot actually access any messages
if it helps at all:
1) i run spb wms3.5.5 and have sense disabled 100% of the time
2) im on a tmous 2.13 rom, stock.
not sure if there is any further pertinent info but i'd love to get this working and it seems others with my setup have it working.
id really appreciate your feedback.
thanks

UPDATE:
ive made great strides. despite the fact that i never have sense enabled, this is indeed an integral step in the process (otherwise i just got lucky). so here were my steps to success:
1) back up text messages using spb backup
2) permanently delete all messages
3) disable sense (it was already disabled)
4) soft reset
5) install cab (which was transferred to microSD beforehand)
6) press cancel after install to decline restart
7) DID NOT INSTALL THE MUI
8) soft reset
9) enable sense
10) DIDNT BOTHER TO RETRIEVE MY MESSAGES YET
11) Soft reset
12) checked that messaging worked IN sense (and that is was 1.8)
13) DISABLED sense and now this seems to be working perfectly in SPB winmo shell 3.5.5
updates to follow as i progress deeper down the rabbit hole.

ha ha.. i'm not lazy. i think i made the mistake of saying that i got a stock 6.5 rom when i really got an unmodded wm 6.5. i'm a newbie and i want to make sure the skins dont brick my phone.
and before i responded, i did read your threads. and again, my questions still stand. i need your help, plese answer my questions. i'd apprecite it a lot.
you wont brick a phone from instsalling a skin or some software, al lthat might do is a hard reset to restore it to factory settings if it corrupts the system
For more skins look here

1) Ezinput is the stock keyboard which comes with HD2 and 2.1 can be downloaded here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=536215 Yes its compatible.
2)You need to install Vito Sms chat and the program files has a folder named Vito with a folder named skins.
3)Same applies with Icontact...you copy the skins in the folder and choose them from the application settings
4)Idialer is preffered to be installed in the internal memory rather than the SD card....
if you have more questions..post em....will help !

backlashsid, thank you so much. i got idialer installed. it looks cool. but is it possible to remap the phone key (the bottom plastic button with the green phone image) so that when i press it, iDialer comes up instead of the native dialpad?

Download Advanced Configuration Tool for Windows Mobile here http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-advanced-configuration-tool.html
This gives you an option to custom map your hardware keys to whatever program you want.
Hope this helps.
PS: I tried the vito skin for WP7
It looks good but I still prefer my HTC Messaging client. Plus Vito SMS is too slow.
