Bottom Button Customisation - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps
Just wondering how can i customise the bottom 2 buttons.
Currently it has Phone and Camera there.
I would like it to be either:
Camera and Comm.
or
Contacts and Comm.
Also currently im using TF3D2, on TF3D i could display Japanese text in Manila Music Player, however in TF3D2 it just shows all Squares. How can i fix this?
In the program called "Diamond Tweak" you can change those two, I do not mean "Diamond TF3D Config" just so you know.
Another app that'll do the trick is called Softkey Manager. You can find the info here.
got the diamond tweek thing, and did what i want it to do....
now need to find out how to make Manila show Japanese or other language text~!
You can change the language of TF3D in Diamond TF3D Config. Also try Settings > system > national settings and see if there's something about TF3D there.
ive tried switching my TF3D2 to Japanese using a language pack, but it just shows up as all Squares.

Need Help Converting Task Manager from VGA to QVGA
I need some help from the community to figure this out. Older HTC Task Managers cause the taskbar to disappear (in my rom) when you touch Quick Menu and rotate to landscape. The one from the Diamond 1.93 ROM (2_1_34563_100) doesn't do this, however the Quickmenu icon in the upper right (see pic) is sized for VGA. Functionally it's fine, but visually it's not very nice. I've searched the dll's, exe's and images, but the quickmenu icon is not there. Anyone know how to read/convert this so I can use it on a QVGA screen?
Start keypad minimized in SMS
I was wondering if there is a setting or registry tweek to stop the keypad / keyboard automatcally popping up when you open a msg from touchflo, S2U, .. etc. Cheers!
You can use the freeware "Diamond Tweak" to set this an many other options without editing the registry.
Sounds good, il have a look but is there an option to stop it from showing. id rarther it not show until i select the icon or even better the text box.

Change LockScreen & StartMenu Background
Title says it.. I have Manila 2.1 and I don't see the option to change the background for the start menu and lockscreen anywhere. I know it's possible under settings/all settings/today - select - Use this as background: browse.. but it won't list any pictures. Only certain resolutions? Or file type? Maybe there's a registry key? Thanks.

Nope, that's a manila 2.5 feature.
Its been awhile. Check out Auto Wallpaper Changer. Changes Lock screen, S2U2 and Home.

Click to collapse Hi. open up start menu,and find "pictures & videos", (not "album"). open that and find the pic u want as the background. open the picture and select menu(bottom right) and choose "set as today background",and accept.this should change the background on the start menu and the lock screen background....well that is how i do it. Hope it helps.
call hystory on manila home screen HD mini
Hi all ! I have seen a video of the new htc HD mini and it has a cal hystory button just under the calendar button ( the style is the very same ! ), I think that this is very useful, is there any change to bring this in manila 2.5 wvga ( the one of the HD2 to be mre precise ! ) ?
If you want "Call history" under "no new appointments" just use Co0kie's home Tab. In CHT Editor you can set to always show call history and for example hide permanently Calendar. Try it.

mhm I have checked Co0kie's home Tab but it completly change manila aspect I only would like to have the call hystory icon that's it !
You can keep everything the same, just keep the settings for 3x3 quicklinks, 1 page only, the call history tab always showing as you want it, dont enable the CHT lockscreen. and dont move anything around on the home tab! Just go throught the settings and keep it all to match the stock look, and just enable your call history tab. Actually coming to think about it, there might not be space for it with the first 3 quicklinks showing. but thats the only gripe. maybe if you change the clock to the one without the weather details showing, then you can fit it in.
4 colums Start menu and programs tab for Sense 2.5?
Recently flashed Verizon's stock MR2 ROM with WinMo 6.5 and HTC Sense 2.5 (Manila 2.5.20132227.0). Its growing on me. Definately snappy compared to 2.1, but after a couple days I'm still looking for answers to the following:
-Slide to Unlock: ...every time the screen turns off it locks... is that necessary? Any settings or .cabs that'll give me a little more control of when it locks?
-Start Menu: Where can I get a 4-colum programs .cab for the displayed Start Menu programs... OR have the start menu display the standart WinMo 6.5 start menu. The .cabs I had for 2.1 don't seem to work.
-Programs tab: Where can I find a .cab to add a "Programs" tab back into the slider icons? The one I had for 2.1 (again) doesn't work. Also changing the registry entry in HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila doesn't work, either ("programs tab is hidden" from 1 to 0).
Any help would be appreciated.
yes you can change your lock screen settings... It'll be somewhere in your settings... I cant tell you where as I myself never use it. I went into mine and saw in settings\system there was something called lock config so I'm sure your set up would have something like that. the start menu... well in 6.5 they have the honeycomb menu. I think I read back a long while ago about a way to make it go old school I just havnt seen in it a long while... same with the programs tab. They took that out of 2.5 my advice... go to this thread and read about the add on and then add it. It adds SO much funtionality to sense it just makes the standard one look stupid [Manila Mod][19-Jun-2010] Co0kie's Home Tab v1.8.5 then you'll need this to do the changes [APP] CHTEditor v1.8.5.1 [UPDATE 19-JUN-2010] note the screen shots in the links. You can have any number of layouts and "pages" that swipe up and down for different short cuts right on your home screen. Different clocks, notification bars etc etc.
