Hello all ! I have a problem with my Magician . Someone can tell me in the ibattery software how to display the battery bar on the top right ? It like a battery icon ( Sorry , My English isn't well Thanks for Help !!!
Theres a little tool to get that working. Its called Magician Set. you can find it here in the forum. After install you can find it in your Settings --> personal settings --> Customize

Hey.
I cant remember how i did it but can sum1 remind on how to display the battery on the today screen instead of the clock.
Im not on about the HTC Homeplug but just the little battery that goes next to the network signal.

This is a simple registry change:
HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/ProgramLauncher/X/IconPath
Where X is the number if the icon you want to change. I must admit that I don't know what formats you can use (.png, .exe, .dll etc.) Perhaps other users can clarify.

hi guys, this is my virgin post. I have a diamond 2 and was using it for about 2months now. recently, i realised that my battery indicator dissappeared from the top task bar. It only shows the signal, sound, and time... no more battery indicator. I have been searching for an answer but no success. have tried installing the customised battery icons contributed by you guys but no success as the battery icon still does not show.
any suggestions or help on this? much appreciated.
p.s - i was using a magincian, O2 mini and recently upgraded the ROM to the one by cortulla. it's like getting a brand new phone, though the memory on the mini sucks big time. just want to express my thanks for all the contributors. i hope i can contribute something too in future.
i realised that the down-pointing arrow on the right of the taskbar is missing too. So i am unable to view the running programmes.... can someone help me please?
The battery/time indicator is some setting in windows mobile. I don't know how to change it in windows but you can easily do it with WVGA tweak / HD tweak.
And about the program manager, it's also some setting i don't know accactly were you can find it..
Try searching in the setting tab.. then system.. somewere there should be an option about taskmanager, and then something about show on home screen / show in tray

thanks so much... for task manager ... i went into settings ... all settings ....system ... task manager ... then Button ... there u can selet enable quick menu on today screen .. thanks so much!!
Buttons light up ! u know when u press the Home button or the Startmenu they light up ? i really find that really cool , it looks like the phone is even wider and dunno but i love that ... and i know where they are , in the night it's like theres nothin and it's teasing me ... omg what am i writing ... just want to make the buttons light till the phone is being used ... will it be a problem if they light non-stop ?! can that be done ?! what would be the effect on the battery ?!
any solutions/tweaks/answers ? the second pic is showing the difference ... and at night i love it...

Hello LtBlue, during all my surfing sessions have not come across this.....even not as an unintentional defect.....
Assume you have googled.....
ive searcher ALL the registry and didnt find anything it took me an hour to browse through all of them ! ... just one folder but it didnt work ...
HKCU \\Control Panel\BackLight\ these settings i found more close to what i'm searchin for but no result after changing what could possibly have effect ! HAVE Ur PHONE BACKUPED ! i did a restore after doing some new settings ! some menus got screwed !!!! now it wofks fine ... no problem at all
any other tweak programs , i have SKTools , Advanced conf tools , Diamond tweak ? advise me ! i love tweaking
This is another big source of registry changes..... http://nowsci.com/registry-changer/ searched this but could not see what you need. Maybe I overlooked something......
As alternative you can tweak the blinking LED......

I don't know either, but I do think it will have a bad effect on the battery
hey guys,
a while ago I came across those 2 files. Just run them and they work like a charm. If you want them to start when you softreset just place the exe-files in the startup folder.
Keypadledcontrol.exe makes the light of the buttons turn on as long as your screenlight is on. Batterydrain is minimal
LeoExtendedNotifications_sms_call.exe makes the lights of the buttons blink when you receive a textmessage.
Both files can also be found at the Leo-thread if i'm correct. There is also a file available that blinks the buttons when you receive an email.
