I hope everyone has been keeping up with the Point UI Home 2 development. These guys are coming up with some pretty creative stuff. The newest addition has been Point Sense Suite, a replication of the Point Sense UI found on the HTC Hero.
Have a look!

Thanks, just as I finish up applying various programs to complete my iPhoney© interface, for the Samsung Saga - to a very usable and enjoyable state... you show me this... I will definitely be looking into this, looks great!
I have it. I like it, but v2 hopefully will fix bugginess.
I would highly recommend every xperia owner give it a try.
I got TF3D2, PointUI PointSense, and SPB 3.0 Korean hacked panel. I have to say I like the look and feel of PointSense the most, but TF3D2 is still my favorite for greater integration and bug-free operation. PointUI PointSense is getting REAL close, though, and I have been using almost exclusively for last few days.

Do you think we can extract this and put on the HD. We need a solution to rival the iPhone

guys. try http://iphone.facebook.com on your touch hd.
as well as any optimized iphone websites. works like a charm for me
http://iphone.netvibes.com
http://www.digg.com/iphone/
http://iphone.foodnetwork.com/
etc.
I always used snap2face (Now known as SkyBook) on my Kaiser. (HD is in a delivery van now!)
http://www.magnifoca.com/products.html
Really liked the ability to import facebook profile pictures into WM Outlook.... Very cool.
Snap2Face is slow, its design crude and its functionality dreadful. We need a proper dedicated facebook app and this Xperia panel looks the ticket.
please can someone get this working on a HD... I would be willing to make a Paypal donation and I am sure others will too...
The way Sony Ericsson is trying to fragment the windows mobile community with its exclusive 'panels' is really negative..
still nothing??!
Theres even a facebook app for Android now, but yet again WM gets left out in the cold. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??!

BUMP for the sake of the Windows Mobile community
This is a project in development, the idea is to have a centralized place to switch themes from, without having to re-install them one on top of the other, creating ugly cluttering and chaos lol. No ETA at all on this, but sounds fairly easy to accomplish (lol see screenshot) Subscribe to this post for future release.

once this gets off the ground it would be awesome to see a repositiry that the app (or maybe an alternate app that feeds the theme chooser app the detail) can download themes from. Just an idea and I am not suggesting I have any idea how to accomplish it. Kinda a themes app store if you will.
you are really a king into themes *.*

Hi all,
has any of you ever come across any ports of HTC Phone Canvas to our Treo Pro (WM6.1), like the ones depicted below? I have been looking for this all over, but to no avail.

i personally havent, sorry. the problem with the treo is that the screen is 320x320... and almost every other phone made is not a square resolution. there is a program that is called iconsoft phone extension. it gives you a new dialer, contact screen, and phone canvas. it is $25, but there is a free 15 day trial. for me, i usually flash my phone every week or two... so the limit doesnt really matter
you can check it out, it is very nice and replaces the default phone application. it does suck about 2mb of ram however
http://www.iconsoft.com/?language=en&menu=62e094db10fc83b1
edit: it is really easy to use, and very finger friendly. i have tried using the different phone canvases, but they are usually hard to set up right...
yep, I had tried Iconsoft (PhonEx) before and have to admit it is very impressive indeed. Its footprint is discouraging as you have mentioned. On a relatively fresh system it works rather zippy but I wonder how things go with plenty other apps installed and running. Well, need to keep on looking and hoping for a port ...
kay, so im a huge n00b to all of this android stuff and whatnot, but anyhoo.
I started having a few aches and pains with running plain CM 6.1
1.
I love sense.
We ALL Love Sense
I wanted that ****ing launcher so bad while i was sitting with the stock ADW Launcher on CM6......ugh..... i could taste it.
I finally came across an ADW Hero Launcher Theme that would work with froyo!
hence, my phone is now a sexy-ass sense-ish froyo monster.

2.
For some ****ing reason my 3d gallery (that i never really liked in the first place) stopped working with picture frames on the homescreen. No Bueno.
After hours of searching on multiple forums i found out titanium backup would remove the 3d gallery since u cant just uninstall it...
than i just ripped a gallery.apk out of an older ROM and voilah.
2D gallery on sense froyo= happy buddha.
like the thread states.... I just wanted to brag =]
I'm coming from the ASUS TRANSFORMER thread, but I'm sure you guys may be insterested in that post about windowed applications on Android :

Yes. Google windriver. Something with Intel I believe. But I use the calculator and love it. I really hope android goes into this direction with some of its apps. That in my option would be great for multitasking. Kudos to the developer for discovering how to do this without root though.

These apps are really cool. Thanks for the heads up... The air calc I've put into my ADWEX dock and I can use it on any screen. Stick it definately works with YouTube...I'll have to see what else it does.
this would be nice. Maemo on my N900 already does this and ya don't know how nice it is to swap screens.
