In the same terrible situation as folks without a confirmed date. sony in my country (Singapore) just did a pre-order for SEX1. But I am waiting for operators to pick it up and offer it with contract so that it will cost lesser. Anyway, i am not keen on what the pre-order is giving.

I finally got my HAD TO HAVE IT NOW Xperia - Probably going to sell it .. Haven't even put it in my purse or taken it out of the house. My eyes are older than I am and with the super great resolution everything is too small for me to read .. gotta whip out my magnifying glasses to use it ..

Some would say that launching a device called iPhone a decade after the whole i- prefix went out of style would be a pretty bad decision too.

There is a small bump in RAM and ROM and a 5MP camera.

Stickin' w/ the G1. I don't like phones w/o qwerty keyboards.

Totally agreed.

The next Xperia even if it dont has a good design is a hardware upgrade of x1 with a lot of nice stuff like tv out, bigger screen accelleration sensor and so on.
It looks like also that it will have the same cpu like the x1 and that mean that we can run every XPERIA X1 ROM also on the next XPERIA Phone. For sure it would be also cheaper and would have a better quallity as we know it from se.
I dont know exactly why people say such bad things about the next xperia.
It looks like they dont understand some things.
If i had to buy a new phone the new Xperia and not the old Xperia would be one of my first choices.

There are a few things they did wrong. That and secondly they should've made sure HTC used the greatest and latest hardware. **** that Apple would envy.

I don't know if you guys are serious about this being fake, but I'm sure it's real. Go to any T-Mobile store, they will tell you that they are NOT getting the N1 and that stores like Wal-Mart are.

First, they could and most likely would have a live handset if they just received the device. Second, if they had a live handset, anyone could go apply a few "customizations."
Even if it is fake, Wal-mart is getting the Nexus One. That's part of Google's, "Oh the online store didn't work out."

I'm not saying I believe the picture, and I'm not spreading false claims. I was informed by my local T-Mobile store that Wal-Mart will be carrying the Nexus One. If you don't believe me, try asking your local representative.
Also, I do see where under the Nexus it say's Blackberry.

Right, bad new for me... My MD has decided today that everyone has to have a BB 9900, so my S2 which was going to be with me tomorrow is no more... To say I'm upset and pissed off would be an understatement, but alas, nothing I can do about it...
So if I hang around here beyond now it would be seen as a bit weird and creepy, so it's goodbye all... I won't miss the repetitive posts and questions, but I will miss the great humour and pen craft...

PM brother...

New BB arrived today, still hasnt been configured but I had a quick play...
Design is the usual, but back to the original width so larger than the recent ones... It is the thinnest one ever though... Feels well built and looks pretty smart... Keyboard does feel like the best BB one yet, but the keys above them are shiny so show fingerprints... Back is weird if you ask me... The battery cover is basically clear plastic/glass over a textured surface, again finger prints, but different I suppose...
Now then, OS7... What can I say? Same'ol'same old...As crap as ever but with a brand new lick of paint... Touchscreen works, but I just thought, what's the point really...
Read a post over at crackberry and some guy got rid of his S2 for one of these things... We might have some intellectually challenged members, but what does that make him?!
Anyway, I'd like to introduce you all to a great new charity... It's called the 'Get Caspa an S2 as his work decided to get him a BB 9900 at the last minute Fund', a great cause as he shouldn't have to suffer in this way... I'm sure you'll agree...
Rest assured, 100% of donations will go to the fund and remember, YOU can make a real difference in Caspa's life...

Don't you have a mobile of your own mate or do you just rely on your job to provide you with a phone?You can get the GS2 for free on contract in UK if you cant afford to purchase it outright although i always recommend purchasing outright and avoid long contracts.
Even if i had a job that provided a phone id still ensure i had my own phone and it wouldn't be a bloody iPhone or Blackberry either.
Just an observation
