Also reply, message or retweet from this screen

You are able to view user's basic information
Also, it will tell you if you both are following each other , or only if you are following or if the user is following. According to the status , you can follow or unfollow the user.
Ability to search and open any user on twitter.
You are able to view user's basic information

Things not working/ still working on

I am not good at designing and stuff so it takes me a bit long to accomplish results.
Again, if you find any problems or bugs I apologize beforehand. I am trying my best to make it a wonderful app and to keep it free always. Please let me know any constructive criticism.

Hey there...
it looks fantastic... much much much better than what I have....
just few pointers:
If we can reduce the gloss/gradient on the buttons a bit.
and if we can use a lighter shade of blue...
everything else (font , the button shape ) looks great.
Thanks again for contributing....
Much appreciated....!!

Camera Timer

Does anybody know of a simple camera timer that I can install on my Xda2? I've searched around but not really come up with anything...
Thanks in advance
Here is one.
Unzip the attached file and copy cameratimer.exe to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs on your XDAII.
Cheers
Jamie
Just wanted to check now some people have downloaded it, is it working ok?
I have hard coded the camera app to \Windows\Camera.exe but wasn't sure if the windows directory has a different name in other countries.
Cheers
Jamie
Works nicely for me. T-Mobile ROM 1.60. Also works for video if you have the camera set to that mode. Cool.
Thanks, a neat little utility.
Excellent! Works like a charm, many thanks!
i actually posted this topic a while back; asking if there was indeed a camera timer app. nice to see that there IS one! cheers
compatibility
does this work with other pocket pcs that can take photos?
I doubt it will work on non Himalaya based devices. Unless they use the same IA camera app and it must be located in \Windows\Camera.exe
Jamie
excellent little utility Thanks
now all we need is a custom-built tripod...
Jamie,
Thanks a lot for the nifty little application. If you have sometime on your hands can you consider adding a commandline parameter option? I would love to be able to call your application with a call like
CameraTimer /t5 /Quiet
and get it to do its magic quietly. The /Quiet parameter would mean it would exit the Camera application after taking the picture. Can this be done?
Thanks in advance. Best Regards
Ok, a new version. This one will run as the old one or you can put a number on the command line which will cause it to run in "Quiet" mode.
eg "Camera.exe 10"
Jamie
Sorry didn't read that last post properly.
You can now add a "q" to make it exit the camera app after taking a picture eg:-
"CameraTimer.exe" will run with UI
"CameraTimer.exe 10" will run without UI
"CameraTimer.exe 10 q" will run without UI and exit the camera app after it's done.
Jamie
Simple is great! Thanx!
Jamie,
This is amazing!!! Thanks for responding so fast! Most appreciated.
Best Regards
Thanks... and more!
Hello and thanks for this great little program!
Since you've been very responsive to previous suggestions and you may still have all the development environment configured for this little tool, I thought I would try to request new features too! Here are my ideas:
- Display a static text field in the program dialog box that shows your name, the program version and a summary of the command line options. This should bring you the fame you deserve for writing this tool... and also help people to remember how to use the "unattended" mode!
- add an option (both GUI and command line) to loop <X> number of times (or maybe until closed?) sleeping for the <delay> seconds and taking a new picture. This would make the program great for a sort of continuous picture log, where it could be used to take shots every <delay> seconds for the whole day. I could also be useful if you are alone and trying to take your own picture: set the device to repeatedly take one shot a second, start this and just calmly walk over, try different poses, lure unsuspecting strangers into the frame, whatever... You can later simply keep only the good shots.
Just some ideas, I hope you won't mind people being so demanding!
;-)
The time delay and extended photo shoot option is certainly a good idea but then I guess you will need to take the cradle with you to support the unit while it takes the shots.
I've now added the loop option and fixed a couple of bugs.
You can download the latest version at http://www.coderz.co.uk/cameratimer.html
@lostgweilo, sorry only the UI version supports looping

just put new screenshot with pressed icon
great progress
With the black skin coming out for PointUI soon, would there be any chance of getting a black version? this looks great.
im almost done with this skin, i almost got no time to work on it, but ill see what i can do, i promise nothin, maybe some one else could do that,
and ill maybe release the skin tomorrow becuz im ready with all the settings and i only need a few graphics to make
cheers

one thing change the filter part that out the question mark and add a filter icon.
Yes I agree with aih1977 plus the red dot for closing to say a red cross to tie in with pointui, and change speech bubble to a lighter/darker blue. And you need an icon for original contacts app.

TF3D Theme Webpage

Hi guys,
I noticed that the collection of TF3D themes used with TF3D Config are
scattered across the forums. I did find one page (wiki) that had them semi-organized.
I have been reviewing the CDMA Diamond at the TheTouchBlog
and I don't mind hosting the themes and any screenshots.
If you would like to have a place to show off your themes then PM me and I
can set you up with an FTP account. You can then upload any pics, changes to the theme files and then PM me any changes. I can then quickly add these to the HTML pages for you.
Let me know. I would love to have one place to go for themes instead of having to do dig around.
Thats nice from you. I hope someone will support your cool blog and share his TF3D themes, cause thats what I am missing. A page with all the themes on 1 place.
I guess another question is, would theme developers here be ok if I posted your themes ( I would give you credit and a link back to xda)?
I can download them myself and then add them to my server so I am not leaching off anyone.
I just don't want to step on any toes so I thought I would throw that out here.
If no one cares then I will start adding them myself.
Thanks!
I encourage you guys to let blue1k host for yah. he is hosting our rom for the new Diamond and he is doign a very nice and neat job!
I guess no one cares...lol
If you have any problems with me featuring your theme then let me know.
I'm going to start adding them
Thanks Blue

Site looks cool, like the scrolling feature to view the skins.... Feel free to post any of mine..
One thing though, you've put arsenal football theme on your menu, but it clicks through to the Liverpool theme instead
lol...I just realized that...will fix it soon
I will also add link backs to xda so people can see donate buttons when I have some time.
thanks!
This must be a sticky, because it´s so helpfull.
Your site is beautiful, did you do all the design yourself?
Great initiative, thanks.
Wheres the the touch blog site gone it doesnt seem to be there?
likewise, if you guys need hosting or anything -- just send me a pm -- I'd be more than happy -- and thanks Blue
seems like a good idea, would love a central point to find themes, but the theme slider that you use is very flash but won't be practical with 100/1000 themes, a lot of work for you to update/maintain an also as a user a mission to slide through em all, maybe a "list all" option too? just a thought.
You may put my themes on your site if you wish.
Love what your doing though, an hope it all goes well
Ya the scroller is not the best for a lot of themes but for now it works.
I used part of the design from another app and then did the rest in photoshop.
The problem I have is the site is a CSS theme that I used in Rapidweaver (mac) that I completely redid in photoshop. I had to sell my mac so right now trying to get Leopard for virtualization or OSX running natively.
SO....
Right now I have no way of updating the site but I am working on it!!!!!
Thanks for the comments
Hey Dude, might be that it is late at night, but how do I download a theme from your site?
slow website ....
or loading error didn't wait very impatient

[6/10/08] Tippy v.1.1 [Open Source] UPDATED!

I made a little something for you!
Tippy is a bill splitter and tip calculator for Windows Mobile. It was designed to work on all resolutions and to never require use of the stylus.
I improved many things with v.1.1. Lots of bugs were fixed, UI was made easier to use and a big button SIP was added for number input. You should definitively update if you have 1.0!

I was affraid the demand would be too small but seeing people are interested I'll pursue development a bit.
VGA for devices is ready (Force QVGA) but it needs .net CF and I didn't want it around for a first release. I'll also add more currency symbols as suggested on another forum.
Something I did that I would like to see more often is settings saved to text files. It can be edited easily by anyone and leaves nothing after uninstall.
Thank you for sharing!
I am definately going to try this out.
Great idea!

feature request
i still haven't been able to put it on my phone, but i'll have a crack at it tonight... from the screen shot on your site... i like how the tip percentage and number of people are configured with finger friendly buttons... what do you think about adding an easier way to add the amount to tip? i don't know if you've used g-alarm... but maybe something like how you set the alarm time in that? where you have add/subtract buttons below each digit (that way u wouldn't have to bring up the keyboard).
keep it up

That's interesting. I'll try G-Alarm and look for what you are talking about.
I might add a pop-up form with a keypad when you click the text box and see how this work.
I don't like the look very much so I might add a cuter UI (skinnable ) if it doesn't slow down the launch time too much.
I love the idea, and tried it. BUT the calucation is WRONG. Hope it will be fixed soon.

Oops! You are right! Once you start messing with the amount of people present it gets ugly. I'll fix that soon enough!
I don't test my apps enough
I fixed the results so they should be accurate now.
I'm currently working on a big keypad to type the amount. I will also add some languages and currencies and eventually skinnable interface.
UPDATE:
I made the following changes:
-Tip is now accurately calculated
-The amount is entered using a SIP keypad
-The + and - buttons for tip and people are now changing individual digits instead of the whole number. It's much faster and easier to enter it now.
-Changed the look a bit, fixed control resize errors when rotating screen, VGA should work well.
After all I won't add a skinnable UI to save space and keep the app fast and usable.
I only have a few minor fixes left to be done so I should release v.1.1 tomorrow. (I'm on Ubuntu and I'm too lazy to reboot... and Vista sucks).
Ta-da! An update!
A lot of stuff was fixed, including all of the suggestions except languages

Widnows Mobile Tooltip Replacement

Hello,
First of all, I hope am posting in the correct location. Anyways, in windows mobile, we receive different tooltips, ex: call summary report from the provider, credit report, and many others, the ones am talking about are the tooltips that appear on the top right corner of the screen.
These tooltips are so annoying since the buttons they carry are totally not finger friendly. After using "Yota Phone" on my HTC Touch Pro, i noticed that they mapped/changed the default tooltips with the title "PHONE" with their own nice finger friendly one.
Is there any program that does such a thing? searched a lot and couldn't find any. If nobody knows a program that does this, can someone tell me what are the commands/code of those functions/events? maybe i would do a small application for that one.
Thank you

Find me a cure, please doc?
This is an awesome idea!!! I too am suffering from sausage fingers syndrome
I'm not exactly sure how this could be done but I there is another application on XDA that changes the way our Context Menus look. He does is via dll injection and my guess is that that is how to do this also.
This would be awesome, I hate those little popups as well!!!! Maybe you could ask francarl (creator of FingerMenu), your idea sounds similar to what he did.

thank you m.schmidler. I was thinking about how to replace standard tooltip. It will be very useful if someone finds which is the Win32 API (if exists) that opens the tooltip!
I would totally use this! Anyone wanna pick this up?
Great to see you guys interested in this idea, but wish someone could actually implement it. If only creators of "Yota Phone" would reply. Since they successfully changed the "Phone" tooltip.
If only they share the knowledge. already posted a question regarding this matter on their thread, but no replies on that so far.
I will look into this as soon as I get some time. I'm working on wFacebook for now but as soon as I release a new version (hopefully by this weekend) i'll do some research and post my findings.
Add me to the list of the intrigued.
while you're at it, could you have a look at the default windows popups as well? you know, the ones with that incredibly tiny and impossible to hit ok thingy in the top right corner? even *with* a stylus it is annoyingly hard to press ok.
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/miscctrl/ToolTip_Class.aspx or http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/archive/2005/02/15/373120.aspx do there help any? I am not a programmer! so if they don't help at all!

Oh, yeah those too are so damn annoying!
If there are things that amaze me in pocket pc they are the following:
1. PPCs are more than 10 years old, and we still have THAT FEW RAM with SUCH SLOW PROCESSOR?
2. A message to Microsoft, WTF are you doing? We here at XDA can create a better OS with MUCH smarter tools and you as an enterprise suck that much in your own OS?
Hope we get a fix / program for the tooltip AND those middle confirmation messages, like the one that appears when you try to shut down the device. Buttons are non user friendly and still needs a stylus. Idiotic menus/tooltips.
Cheers
