Hello everyone.
I'm Emre,from Turkey Istanbul.
I have just purchased a HTC HD2 , and it's my first HTC and Windows Mobile phone .. I was using iPhone 2G before and i can say HTC rocks.
I don't know anything about WM , how to install apps , roms , etc.. but i think this forum will help me very well.
I hope you would be happy to answer my questions and versa i can be creative for you.

petition. android 2.X on HTC Tattoo

Well here is of little me, my intention was to draw the attention of chefs to request help on android 2.1 to tattoo, so I delete the post

I think you meant to start a petition to get Android 2.X ported to your HTC Tattoo. Of course, it's very generous of you to start this, I have to point out a few things:
1. You're posting this in the wrong subforum. This is Chef Central, a place for Chefs and "want-to-be-chefs" to discuss their issues and news on rom cooking / development.
2. Your aim is to get Android 2.X running on the Tattoo is great, but should be posted in the Tattoo's subforum, as developers on that platform can assist you there.
I don't want to act as a ****, my reply is just so this forum stays clean and you get good answers to your questions.

Could it be possible this just runs on the Mini already? What happens if we install XDandroid on the mini, does it get bricked?

Only one way to find out...

i think there's a chance for a booting device, but won't trust that all the Mini specific drivers are integrated.
So maybe, if you offer a donation, these developers will get over it.

Nice that everybody likes to donate... but I dont think any dev is checking out this thread. I would suggest to read the other forums for similar HTC phones, there is a lot of development going on with Android booting on several different HTC phones. Since the HTC Aria (almost identical to the Mini) runs Android natively, creating a working Android version for the Mini should be relatively easy compared to other phones. But it seems nobody is interested in the Mini.

I think the release of htc gratia is a challenge from htc to developers. Htc gratia is almost the same as htc hd mini and it runs Android 2.2
This means that it is possible to run android on htc hd mini; however, the developers might not be as smart as the engineers of htc. No offense guys.

[Q] Help for getting andorid HD mini

I know that this topic does not belong here. But please can any developer from andorid HD2 help our HD mini android porject. It is allmost finished. Its about 80% done but still some things dont work and we are having still trouble to fix them

Most kernel devs and people who get android working in the first place don't really read the forums here much... you're not going to get their attention like this. Talk to them in irc.
Didn't cotulla just get a working rom made for you guys a week or 2 ago? I'm sure if you get one of your devs to go talk to cotulla or any of the other devs on the htc-linux irc channel, they could give you guys some help or ideas. The HD2 is not similar to the HDmini at all, so things done for the HD2 won't really be of any help. Also, don't expect things to happen to quickly... the HD2 was lucky with how quickly development went... most devices take years to get a decent working android port.

Cotulla did get andorid working with haret, but, with some bugs and not all drivers are working, like wlan, gsensor, radio , battery driver etc. Now some dudes are trying to develop further with cotullas project , but in my opinion they are having some difficulties also. In addition they have less and less time to deal with it cus u know they have their own life also . The reason why i wrote hear was someone posted in hd mini thread and suggested it.

look ate HD2 runs Android and Wp7.5
The HD hardware is similar to other HTC Android Phones .....
just need a good developer team and some support €€€
If theres a good numers of users interrested may be a creation of an Acount and some Donamition solves the problem

lol I would pay for it. If developers like arrghhhhh which, helped a lot in android rom development would get more interessed on this "business", everyone would be happy

I would help with money if it's needed but I think that the best way would be a team leaded by a big brand, such as HTC itself that did these pda with win mobile (6.1!!!) when the whole world was going to choose unix-like os.
Now I am passed to an (not so old) iphone4 and I miss a bit my blackstone... but windows mobile was really bad, the worse os I tried.
You also will have difficulties if you'd like to sell it.

that'll be your problem
too few touch HD users left.
I actually know a fair few people with the device, 2x as work mobile, 2x family members still using, 1x in a drawer after upgrade
but I bet most have moved on or sold/scrap now

I would like ask one question. Do i need post more than 10 post in generel thread that i can post in android development thread? if its possible without a 10 posts pls help
but i know, may be hate me some people in xda but i dont know at the moment. if you want just bann me.
I just want helping some blackstone users if i know. And i know that this site the right place for real development.
May be i make some wrong issue it my custom work but i want make it better.

Thanks to your information.
So i look that its posted IceBread nand, for me its okay. No needed closing, I and ~ 20-30 ( i think this score its much more ) people we can confirm that nand its finally booted and working with some minor fixes but it has bugs with panel but not a big problem, big problem is Wifi because i think its not compiled with tiwlan0 module :/. On CM7 i have one times 3G after i playing lot of with apn. but i dont know how to do this again :/ , First in the kernel we need rebuild because herrickwong not share his latest good kernel source for nand.
