HDWall will do the job perfectly wthout lag when switching manila portrait < > landscape.

I tried searching but can't seem to find anything on how to landscape TF3D, i noticed some theme's have it as well as other roms, I'm working on my own rom and was wondering if someone had the manila files or a cab file that enables landscape mode like the PRO

p.s. be sure to disable tf3d in settings before installing the landscape manilla cab. also note this installation will take about 5-10 minutes to completely install. once complete you can replace manilla files with any other landscape theme you find appealing.

I have been fooling with Manila a bunch and there are still a few memory bugs with it but I am really liking the speed over throttlelauncher and a bunch of other stuff. Anyway I have been doing some research into the integration of other programs with the Manila 2D. I had a few questions. Wondering if anyone has any ideas.
1. Is it possible to incorporate S2P and S2V instead of HTC Album and HTC Player for the Music and Pictures tab?
2. Is it possible to add a stock tab into manila? Idea I had was to incorporate it with KLO Stocker. Or has anyone developed a stock tab for Manila 2d?
3. Why does Manila close programs on its own to make more memory?
4. Why does the manila not work in landscape. With the latest version and I slide my keyboard open, Manila minimizes whatever program I am using and instead of staying landscape it pushes it back to portrat mode and goes back to Manila. What should I do? With the keyboard open it screen stays portrait until I close the keyboard and then open it again. What should I do?
Any help would be great but the idea for Stock would be sweeeett! Ideas?

I have searched all over but haven't been able to find if the regular HTC Home today plugin has been ported to WVGA screen resolution yet for the Touch Pro 2. If anyone has any information or a cab file that would be greatly appreciated. I like to use this in conjunction with Ultimate Launcher. Will Ultimate Launcher work with WVGA screen resolutions? Any information on this would be great as well.

I'm using UltimateLaunch. It works fine. You just need to adjust the numbers for the increased resolution. The transitions from tab to tab aren't too smooth, but if you play around with the Animation Duration and Acceleration you should find something you like. Forget the Cube though. I've tried everything and can't get it to look good while turning. You can also turn off the animation altogther be setting it to None.
There are a number of VGA versions of the Home Plugin Floating around. I haven't tried any but they should work fine with WQVGA. Try here.

Thank you popdog54. That is interesting information about the ultimate launch program. I really prefer it in combination with the the HTC Home plug versus the manilla 2d or 3d. I will have to play with it a bit and see how it goes. Thanks for the link on the HTC Home Plug. I was specifically looking for WQVGA/WVGA and didn't realize that VGA would work.

I tried the HTC Home when I first got the TP2, and it crashed.
Removing it was the solution - is this a QVGA specific adaption or just a slightly different version than I have which works on the TP2?
I just prefer Home/TodayAdgenda to TouchFlo!

I am using PJC HTC Home on my Touch Pro2...works great...even the weather plugin.

Forgot to mention that i use the great app, ultimate launcher as well.
I have used a VGA version on my 8525/Hermes, Fuze/Raphael and now Tilt2/Rhodium with no problems.. The cab is called HTCHOME2.CAB, you can find many links for it.
But if you have a custom wallpaper, then it will not display correctly in the background. I sized a picture of my kids at 480x800, and the section underneath the HTCHome is "stretched" to VGA resolution. Doesn't bother me as my phone is locked most of the time and the wallpaper shows correctly when locked.
i have enabled auto rotation (HD2 Stock ROM 3.14, Manila 2018) but don't like my portrait wallpapers to look distorted in landscape mode. this is most annoying since even CHT 1.8.5 wont allow you setting of a landscape wallpaper - at least not for the lockscreen.
is there a tweak or an app to prevent the wallpaper from going into auto-rotation/landscape mode?
or any other way to get my lockscreen to display proper wallpapers in both portrait and landscape?

if you use HDWall have you tried making a CAB with both Portrait & Landscape wallpapers & see how that does? When I had my TP2 I did that & there was no distortion or anything in the landscape wallpapers

i am not a big fan of HDWall - it caused me a lot of trouble already. you sure it worked as a lockscreen (= windows wallpaper) as well? i remember this app being just for the Manila home screen and tabs... but i am not sure!?
isn't there a more subtle way using a reg tweak to stop the portrait wallpaper from rotating?

I was using UC Browser in landscape mode and when I exited the browser my Sense (with CHT2 Beta) was in landscape mode... and it worked perfectly (changing pages and pushing shortcuts).
I made a screen shot... that prooves that Sense with CHT is perfectly capable to be in landscape mode...!!!
before installing CHT I never had this landscape and each time I exited from an applicatio in landscape the Sense came up in portrait.
I would like to know if someone else had this and if it is possible to make CHT 2 compatible in landscape?
I use the latest nsourm Rom (23146).
