When i watch youtube and phone is chargering battery: The green and orange light will begin to flash and the phone will feel hot. I fix problem with this: leave the telephone to cool down or start it again.
Anyone else?
I don't think that there is any real point in doing this as it's perfectly normal for the unit to heat up while charging.
My phone heats up and then as it approaches full charge automatically cools again.
Perhaps it's a warning about doing too many things at once. Playing video and charging the battery both create heat, so why do both at once? Excessive heat shortens the lifespan of all electronic components, and batteries too.
I charge my phone screen down so the heat from the battery can escape more easily

there are reports in which navigation is used while loading...crashes the Topaz.
So completely normal..to me...it is not. But gladly I don't use it for navigation mainly.

Hi all,
my Defy+ has some problem with power supply.
If I charge battery to 100 % and I disconnect the charger,
Elixir2 show the voltage 4259mV.
Stand by time is about 8hours (Wifi and mobile data are turn off) and I don't use the phone.
I tryed other battery but the same problem.
So, I opened the phone and I think that the problem is the SMD with no 143.
Do you have somebody some wiring scheme of the charging circuit?
Or do you know what is this SMD. I can't find any info.
I expect the Silicon Heaven is waiting for my DEFY,
but first I will use it like a IPcam.

Hey guys,
I'm done on this one. Yesterday, my phone was working normally, as it should, then as I got up a few hours ago, my phone was real hot, like insanely hot, and it didn't respond to anything - No buttons or screen input.
I think the battery's dead, but I can't be sure, mainly because the battery status is good.

That was right after booting, after that it just didn't respond.
I'm trying to get it to boot from my I9300's battery, but without luck, and that's what's putting me off.
My I9300's battery worked fine the last time I used it in my I9505, which was a few months ago, as my phone just buggered up after each load cycle (I had a battery from the bad batch).
Any ideas on this? I'm stumped
Hi all, my exynos variant of s7e is experiencing crazily high standby drain. I don't remember seeing this kind of drain during the first few weeks of getting the phone.

I did a test to show, phone unplugged at 100%, left on table without using. ~12hrs later. whopping 60% gone. It's only the 3 processes you see, nothing more.
Anyone have the same problem? Any idea how to find the cause? Used to have great battery life. It's not normal right?
Have a look at these threads (which have been right under your nose in Q & A )
How many of you experiencing high android system battery drain?
A temporary fix for battery drain
Post your battery life!!!
Mine was doing that also, so I did a factory reset and I didn't use smart switch to add my apps and stuff. Its been sleeping beauty since. I know its a pain to reset, but was worth it.
I can't tray explain it but whenever my phone is really low on battery (let's say 10 percent) it doesn't seem to discharge it just stays at 10% forever, that's at least what Android thinks (pic included)
And then after plugging it in it charges really really fast, probably a percent of charge every second or so until it reaches about 20%
Could it be that my battery is dying? Software issue maybe? Having really bad battery screen on times as well.

Hello,
Try recalibrating the battery.
For example, with the following app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vitula.batterycalibration
Have Nexus 10 (GT-P8110), bought it like non-working device.
Plugged in, won't charge.
Disassembled it, disconnect the battery and plug it with DC voltage regulator to revive it, done it many times before.
Battery start charging.
Now, I made the mistake and accidentally short-circuit something.
Now, battery is completely dead.
I disassembled the electronic and see that one part is blown, circled on the picture below.
Can I somehow bridge-out that part, or power on the tablet without the battery, just to test it (display, touch...) and if it works I will order the new battery?
Thanks!

I made some kind of jumper, so the battery is charging now.
