Help with Bluetooth headset please?

Hi all
I received my xda exec yesterday, and most things seem to be OK, but I can't get it to work with my Motorola HS810 bluetooth headset. Does anyone know why this might be? If it's a total incompatibility thing, and I have to get a new headset, could anyone recommend a cheap but serviceable alternative?
Many thanks,
Carol
not sure about your headset but my sony headset worked fine
better than it did with my sony p900 infact as the pairing seems a lot more pernament where as with p900 i used to have to re pair the two almost every time i switched blutooth on
im now using jabra bt 800
excellent for me and the vibrate feature means you can leave it in pocket and use it as your phone to answer calls rather than getting exec out of its pouch, without walking round all day looking like an extra from star trek voyager or a dixons advert
Ah. Thank you. The Jabra was the one I was looking at as a possible alternative. I think I'll check that out. My husband's bluetooth headset also connected to my xda with no problems at all...so I think it must be the Motorola that's the problem. Maybe it's an earlier Bluetooth version or something...
I'm also using Jabra BT 800 and it's working fine with me till now.
I believe it's the best blue tooth head set we can ever use with universal.
Regards,
Unfortunately, I couldn't get a Jabra this afternoon, so I got a Bluetrek G2, and that works fine with it. So long as I can be handsfree in the car and do voice-dialling, I'm happy!

Bluetooth Headset that works with Exec?

This is my first post on this great fourm... guess that makes me a noob. lol
I have the O2 xda exec
rom:1.30.107wwe 4-11-06,
radio:1.09.00,
extrom:1.30.162wwe
SPB pocket Plus
Pocket Mec.
Opera
I have tried the Samsung Wep200, and the Jabra JX10...
Both headsets cut out and crackle if the Exec is in my pocket (same side)
or if im moving around holding the phone in my hand...
the only time they are usable is in the car with the phone still in the center console/
Anyone having any luck with bluetooth and the Exec in real world application?
Or is it inherent in the headsets I have tried? (tiny ones)
IF so, what headsets are working with good conectivity?
I dont need to leave my phone 30 feet away and walk around, but I want to be able to leave the exec in my pocket and use BT///
Also, are any BT headsets working with WM5's voice dialer? neither or the two I mentioned would///?
Thanks,

How about the Stereo Bt Headsets? (Moto HT820, Bluant, Spider)
I read the Spider has an extended range... Maby atleast a stable connection/
Any direction appreciated

The Pulsar 590A works OK as a phone headset with the Uni.
Note that you won't enjoy the A2DP sound "quality" of the MS BT stack with the 590A.
Seems big to lug for just a phone headset...

NEED HELP!: Bluetooth Headphones Question

Hello Everyone,
K, Just to start, I'm a super newb, so If I say anything crazy, just forgive me. I just baught a new super cool awesome Logitech FreePulse BlueTooth Wireless Headphones FP-10, and I just assumed that they would work with my Softbank X01HT, so I charged it up, turned it on, and it can not find my headphones!!! http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2412,CONTENTID=12492
K.. call me dumb but the headphones are bluetooth... my cell phone is bluetooth... shouldn't they be able to connect.... or do I have to use that stupid bluetooth dongle that came with the headphone and plug it into my pda.... Man... I really don't want to do that... but... anyways.. help!
Eargerly awaiting the rest of the story

Bt headset and two HTC's!!!

Hi,
I have htc 3600, HTC Mteor and SonyEricsson HBH-600!
I can't use headset with both devices at the same time (not same call, i think on normal use of two devices) , because headset will connect on first device and ignore other!
It's little bit unuseless for me and the same problem was with HTC & Nokia 6230, and qtek s200 & Nokia 6230, my previous combination!!
The question is which BT headset to buy, device that will be smart enough to disconnect from htc after call to be ready for receiving call from 2nd htc....
Thanks,
Regards
look here: http://www.omiz.com.cn/new/products.asp?cat=4
...scroll down for the twin-cellphone bluetooth headset.

You can also use the Plantronics Voyager 510.
It supports BT Multipoint, I use it myself to switch between my trinity and PC programs like skype and MSN.
I think it works great.
Scala 700
will do the job as well...

Ill try with plantronics, tnx to all...

Any ideas about a stereo BT headset that would deliver this fucntionality?
Cheers.
I wouldn't buy a BT stereo headset just yet, at least not until a ROM update.
Use the search function in this forum and you'll see that their are still some problems with it.
I really want to get a pair too, I really like the set from jabra but until the BT stereo issues are fixed I won't buy them.

Can't connect to bluetooth headset

I sit next to my headset and turn on bluetooth on both the headset and the tablet but the tablet says "no nearby bluetooth devices were found"
Why? Last time I tried wit my brother's ipad and my sister's ipod touch it worked fine
Edit: never mind, because i didn't know how to connect the headset the first time lol. I was supposed to press and hold for a few seconds until i hear some sound...
