First of all, sorry for such a basic and quite possibly stupid question.
I have been searching and reading threads like crazy, but haven't been able to find what I'm looking for.
I want to install and use the 1% battery status mod and also change the battery icon. I know you need new icons etc. to fix that, but I only want to change the battery icons.
I've found several packs that changes a lot of stuff, but I only want to change the battery icons for now. Are there any such packs available?

Thank you very much.
I have actually found that thread while searching, but I must have misread it because I simply didn't find it as what I was looking for.

I'm looking for some themes or a way to change the color for Battery Status. The cooked rom I'm using the battery status is white but it blends into my background. Thanks in advance.
so look in BS post ffs.
author added few on first page ;/
There's one around that goes green (100%-50%), then yellow (40%-20%), then red (10%) or something like that. I don't remember exactly and can't find the .cab file. But if you search for "color battery" or something like that should find it.
You'll also need sdkcerts.cab also I beleive to install it.
There are some skins on authors website and in the BattStatus thread as Nothin said.

He is not talking about battery indicator on the top bar. He is referring to the Battery Status today plugin.
Thanks alot guys. I'll check them out and see what I get.
I've seen the one he is refering to, but I can't find it for the life of me. It was a dll that contained the battery icon resources, i think there were also EVDO or 3G related resources in it as well...
ah found it... finally...

i know it's not appropriate to request such thing here, but i've been searching for something like this a while... a simple app showing the clock on the today screen without more crappy add-ons like HTC Home. Anyone... please?
Great idea
ill second this, wood be great to have it next to my bed as an alarm clock, a nice full screen simple digital clock
it wouldnt even need to worry about power usage because it would be on charge
i'm not referring to full screen. Just a Htc Home like clock but without tabs and fluffy useless content

Check out battery status. It is highly customizable. I am using pieces of the theme from the following link:

Like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344870 ?
not analog but a big digital clock. I'm testing Battery Status right now and it looks awesome but i want to disable all the other functions. Thanks for the help offered
good luck finding this, i've searched high and low and there is no plug in with just a nice big clock. tried battery status yesterday but it also has a bunch of stuff that comes along.
give this a shot http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-dr-puttingham-samsung-time.html
my device is VGA and that plug-in is too small for me
you can use rltoday.. if u want just a digital or analog clock.. it doesnt come with all the battery status stuff..
you can create your own skin or you can go to their forum and search for the desired skin...
edit: found these two skins

http://rotlaus-software.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=445
you can modify skin.xml to suit your needs..
the best solution for now is rltoday with a custom skin. Attached 'em, thank you all for the support

I'm of the same idea, I've made a simple skin that show a digital clock "identical" to the one of the HTC Home.
Sorry, but for now I can't post the code and a screenshot, you have to wait the next week...
Ah... I have a VGA screen, so my skin is perfect for you
i did the same thing with RLToday. I have the digital clock and the msg notifications, nothing else.
Anyone know if there is a font that looks like the Alien Round found in HTCHome Customizer?

If you do a search you find many posts about icons for iFonz. Chack out the ones from Bluemetalaxe, they are the best.

I was just going to suggest your big icon file.....and the little search function in our tool bar located right under your name and user status....
Pleast read my post, i search the STANDART icons for this. I mean the icons you can see when you search in Google for example...
its really hard to understand what you mean, standard icons, google Maybe you mean iphone icons, if so search for iphone icons and i think its better posting that in the ifonz thread where it belongs.
Sorry for my bad english, i'am german. I will try to explain you : I search for the 15 original icons in the iPhone. The Icon Pack that you had made is very good but there aren't the icons i search . It's very good but i want the original icon. I hope you had understand. Sorry for my really bad question. Thanks a lot!

I personal use this cab for the top bar. May be what your looking for
It would help to see what you are trying to recover.
But, here is a possible suggestion that might fit: FInixNOverBattery http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ght=finixnover
Thanks for the response guys,
will try and post some pics up when i get home from work. Not feasible for me to do so just now.
In particular what i am after are the topbar icons relating to volume, signal strentgh, battery level, multiple notifcation icon, headphones connected icon etc.
Need the manila files for those specific icons ideally. I suppose i could be cheeky and approach pzucchel directly to see if he could give me the info.

Hi Guys I like to Change the Icons and I like to change the Original WM icons for some custom made can some one point me to the correct steps.
Thanks
Over the past few days I have been searching for a cab which will allow the top bar icons to be replaced with nicer well polished options.
I have also been looking for a cab that indicates the battery life as a long horizontal multicolor line at the absolute top of the top bar.
Please see the attached photo for a better explanation.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Rudy.

Hi Rudy.
For the icons, there's actually many different ones to choose from, you'll want to search for "taskbar icon sets". Several of the most common ones include:
-brian's gfreek edition
-dafunk's B&W and NGTV taskbars
-dinik's anastasia
Those and many others will work on the HD2 even though they might have been designed for and work with other phones. The thread for any icon set you find should clearly label what WM builds exactly they work with.
I know the "long line" battery indicator is floating around the forums here, but I don't know the name of it off the top of my head...I'm sure someone here can point you to it.

Thank you for the direction on where to make the task bar even better. I found several options here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=639002 and selected this option: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=602295
The Vista Hide battery gauge is an exe file, I always thought that .cab was the only install vehicle.
Learning every day,
Rudy.
I have tried many different task bars and none of them worked...except diniks recently worked for me. I use this http://battlinesvc.codeplex.com/releases/view/41597 plus diniks and it works great. and you can choose any colors you want...to make them fit your theme...different color for charging off the charger and low batt.

thats what i thought as well.. i didnt really pay attention when I first installed this until i actually clicked on it and realized it was an exe file. works though =) ... i dont use it unless i flash a rom that initially doesn't show the battery, instead, showing the clock.
