LOL, no one probably knows because most on this forum are r00ted....
The CRC build should be CRC1, I know that much and the firmware version should be 1.5, I will have to look into the others.

I am rooted too..........but I need to know. LOL

it should read the .19.26 radio as well i believe, i am not sure on any of the other stuff though cause i keep updating daily to new roms. why do you need to know what it should say?? as long as it is unrooted or has never been rooted and shows 1.5 then the rest will come up as it is supposed to, on a non-rooted phone there is no way to change the radio without the entire build being changed or anything else.

I am having some phone issues need to return and want to make sure it is current when I return it!

Model Number -T-Mobile G1
Firmware Version -1.5
Baseband Version- 62.50S.20.17H_2.22.19.26I
Kernel Version- 2.6.27-00393-g6607056 [email protected] #1
Build Number- CRC1
HOPE THATS WORKS FOR YOU =)

Correct Firmware and Build Number?

What is the Firmware and Build Number for the latest G1 upgrade from Tmobile?
I flashed my phone with the Google ION ROM and under "About Phone" it states:
Firmware Version
1.5
Build Number
CRB43
Mine says the same, and it's the simple OTA cupcake update, I haven't rooted my replacement phone yet, but that's what the build and firmware say.
However, what does your kernel, build, and baseband tell you? ^-^ Those should be different than the official build's
*edited after rooting, forgot that bit. But simply google-image "Official t-mobile cupcake* and you should get screenshots to compare to

OTA Update out - includes multitouch

Out now including 3g fix.
http://i.engadget.com/2010/02/02/nexus-one-gets-a-software-update-enables-multitouch/
Anyone know if this will include the new kernel that allocates more memory to the system?
Multi-touch looks very smooth and working quite well. If only you could 'download' it directly instead of waiting for the OTA.
How does OTA update work on an unlocked phone on a network Google's not likely to be familiar with? My understanding is OTA's are typically pushed by the carrier?
If by some mechanism (that I don't currently understand) the OTA gets pushed to my phone, will it be a problem that I'm rooted and running a custom Rom?

coool thing about the nexus one is that u get the update as soon as it "hot out of the oven" on google's side, u don t need to way to tmo or whoever u have a look at it and possibly rework and pass it on to u guys!!
if anyone got the update if you could post a picture of the new build name and number that would be greatly appreciated!
You suppose the decision to finally include multi-touch in the google apps had anything to do with Stevo saying that "Do no Evil is Bullsh1t?"
I feel the Google Apple war heating up!
Here is the non-iPhone site. http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/02/nexus-one-gets-a-software-update-enables-multitouch/

Don't have a camera at work, but this is what I got from my AT&T connected Nexus One.
Model number - Nexus One
Firmware version 2.1-update1
Baseband version 32.24.00.22U_4.03.00.21_2
Kernel version 2.6.29-01117-g4bc62c2 [email protected] #1
Build number ERE27
does it support pinch and zoom then??? anyone??
Most of the time yes. It works in the gallery, maps, and to some extent in the browser (doesn't work on mobile websites, and doesn't reflow the page you are zooming).
It's normal for pinch zoom to not work on mobile websites.

More info please. What kernel, what ROM, what root did you use? I'm nice, but some people on this forum would eat you alive for leaving a post like this.
I'm sorry amigo - I know very little about phones - new to this world. I'm pretty good with computers though. I learn fast.
It's Kernel version 2.6.29
build number SPH-D700 ECLAIR.DI18.
Firmware: 2.1-update1
I used one.click.root.exploitv2.2.4 to root the phone. I haven't installed any other ROMS (Is there a place on the phone or within Rom Manager where it displays which exact ROM I am running?).

You're already on DI18, no need to update.
The build number shows you the ROM you're running
Ah great. Thank you.

[Q] Question - what is JI6 update vs 2.1 Update1?

This may be a stupid question, but what is the different between the JI6 update and the 2.1 update1?
I just got a replacement phone from T-Mob and it claims to have firmware version 2.1 update1 but the baseband version is JFD.
Or maybe I'm trying to understand what things are in baseband vs. what is in firmware. I assume one difference is that its easy to change the firmware, but that does not help me much.
Thanks
JI6 is latest and 2.1 update 1 is the old version
I really don't know if there was a pre release version 2.1 (without update 1)...
as far as i know, the very first vibrant came with 2.1 update 1 (or JFD), and that's what you have now.
You should get this updated to JI6...

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers....
Eclair 2.1 update1 is the stock ROM that comes pre-installed on the Vibrant.
JFD is the launch version of that firmware.
The newest revision of the Eclair 2.1 update1 is JI6 which, I'm sure you've seen a thread or two about, attempts to fix many of the issues users were having with GPS/Sync/etc. If you realllllly wanted to simplify it, and I know this is completely wrong but follow me here, you have Eclair 2.1 update1(JFD). JI6 would essentially be Eclair 2.1 update1(JI6).
Since you've got a vanilla Vibrant, I'd suggest you charge up your phone and head over to the Kies Mini page to grab the JI6 update. Of course you could also wait for the OTA (over the air) update if you felt like it.

Trying to roll Inc up to 2.3

Trying to update Incredible from 2.2 to 2.3. Build 3.26.605.1, baseband 2.15.00.07.28
I started to run the OTA update from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=770091 but the baseband version is different. So where do I go from here?
Quick search found this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1263269
Also your version numbers are off, 2.3 is 4.06.605.3 baseband 2.15.10.7.7
No, my version numbers aren't off. I currently have 2.2, those version numbers refer to my current build. I'm trying to GET 2.3

The base band is the radio version. The reason it's different is because it comes with the OTA to update it to .07.07.
EDIT: According to the post, "First off, ensure that you have the Stock 2.1 ROM with first OTA, it WILL NOT work otherwise.
software/Build version will read as the following: 1.22.605.2..."
Looks like you need to be at 2.1 to run that update.
Got it working. Rooted Froyo, then loaded the Liberation ROM. Extremely happy with it!!
Thank you for your input guys!
