iGO 8 Power Management -> Keyboard aa bug

I got keyboard aa bug on iGO 8.3.4 when change the power management setting to always on or smart. Cannot type anything on the keyboard. Anyone has idea to solve the problem?

read from some other forum and it seems to be the issue with shipped rom. Some one has the same problem on blackstone and solved by install cooked ROM.

You can change back to default skin, close iGO8, delete the SAVE folder (after backing it up if you have things you want to keep), and relaunch iGO8 for a temporary solution.
I solved mine by adding the following to sys.txt:

Power save
Is there a way to make power management run properly, caus' when the screen turn off, GPS doesn't load anything... and when i turn back the light on, iGO research my new position...

Try to keep the existing "SAVE" folder and go to the backlight configuration. Here put "Device configuration", or something similar. In mine worked perfectly.

I have done Yunabeco's method and works for me...
havent tried stdk's method but it looks more clever as it probably disables that font, that has these weird characters or something, from loading
i might do this next time..

It sounds like you need to get the latest update from Igo that supports the screen resolution of the TP2

A lot of people have problems because of the unsupported resolution. As said before you need a version that supports this resolution. Version from 8.3.4.xxxx up should work without any additional upgrades.

I thought this rom was already known in the xda community. Anyway, this rom seems to have a "my location" based search on the internet tab: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=701942
Hope someone will find a way to integrate this in a customized HD2 rom!

I know, it came online couple days ago... But no link here on XDA for the ROM Chefs without the known sources
So this way they can play with it aswell.

Anyone any idea how to flash this rom ? Or better yet, is there someone who can recompile this rom for the LEO without any modifications so we can explore this rom on the LEO

I have been using this rom for a couple of days now. Had to tweak a few things to get them to run correctly.
Also seems to be for a dual sim phone.

HTCLockScreen_2_0_20161426_00 looks very nice but still has the unlock problem when a phone pin is applied for me. The screen comes up to enter the code i enter the code press unlock and nothing.

EDIT: Thou did a great job, sir. I saw thou managed to enable the "set search engine" feature on the internet tab. Great job. Unfortunately I did not see any option to enable the location based internet search.

I dumped this rom with Ervius visual kitchen. Unfortunately EVK doesn't generate .rgu files for this rom? Do you have the .rgu or reg files for this rom? If so, how did you dumped the rom...
Furthermore, did you managed to get the "my location" based search enabled on the internet tab?

I dumped the rom with the visual kitchen. The only packages that gave me problems were the new messaging client and the new connection setup. I removed both of these packages and rolled back to my prev ones.
Also everything was in 0804 language. I replaced these with 0409 from my prev build. It seems to go OK and I have not seen any problems as yet. I can see that when I dumped it the visual kitchen produced .reg files for me??
I never use the internet tab. However I just enabled if the search local location was there. It is not there by default for me.

Try this tool by OndraSter Appelflap, just drop the nbh on it.

BTW, for location based search on the internet tab: maybe it is possible to use the mini package for this and replace some manila files with some files from the OBOE rom. (I did manage to get the mini internet tab to run on a rom but I couldn't change the mini resolution. OBOE has the right LEO resulotion, so.. )

Any chance of making a cab file of the Lockscreen package. It would be much appreciated as I use a cab ported from the Mini Rom. I prefer the Mini style lockscreen to the standard WM lockscreen. Don't us a pin so no problem.

I dont have a EXT to CAB conversion tool. I can post just the EXT lockscreen package if you have tools to convert it.

I should say that when I cook the lockscreen package directly in it doesnt work and I get just the normal windows lockscreen.
If I rename the customlockscreen.dll to lockscreen.dll the package then works but PIN functionality is broken. I wish I could sort this as I love the new lockscreen

full screen iGO on S4

hi guys
is there anyway to make the IGO work in full screen ?
i used the 720p APK that work on S3 but that not work on S4, the screen only on 1/4 of its size

You should go into the root of your phone into the iGO folder and open the sys.txt file. Here find the line that starts with screen_xy=" and replace it with:
screen_xy="800_480:1920x1008/1080x1848:fullscreen"
Just play a bit with the values as i haven't gotten the exact values worked out yet but this should give you a head start.

I uploaded a file for us to use in our S4.
It works on external sdcard.
But the maps are from Brazil ok? Just change the map for the country you live (and its complements)

I have a HTC One and I had the same problem. The lines for display in my sys.txt look like this:

but if this doesn't solve your problem, then you should try other data.zip because I have a new one since this is a new resolution not like my old HTC One X (wich is exactly the same res as SGS3). In data.zip I have 1024:768 resolution

Got the same isssue and I moved to SYGIC. perform the same or better and is full screen definition.
Sorry I don't know for your country maps availabilty.

Can someine pls post just the sys.txt and the apk? I dont need the content folder
(Does the branding have to do with the res size?)
