I don't know if this is the right place for my question.
I own HTC Hermes and HTC Rhodium and since I have changed to WM devices I noticed that when I get a forwarded call from my office I cannot identify if it's forwarded or not. Searched and shearched google and xda and I can only found a pay program to do it where http://www.xtkit.com/archives/51
Has anyone tried it? Works? Is there any other solution like registry modification?
I really need to know when a call is forwarded to me.

I have no idea if this is possible, or if there is a utility out there for this but i am looking for a way to only allow calls to numbers in the telephone address book.
Does anybody know of a utility?
This will give me central control of who users can/cant call using the management software that i have.

I myself wonder how I can restrict calls from one caller only; like to divert a given number directly to my voicemail..?
I never did find the software i was looking for.
The problem i have is fixed dial sim's dont work correctly on XDA's. Aparently its a problem with the sim card voltages or something.

Give Novosec SmartFilter a try, very cool proggy but it will not divert to another number but will give you full control of who can call and when.
Sounds good. I'll give it a try.
(I'm really bothered by a client who calls essentially on Monday morning and Friday afternoon

Hi,
I am looking for an application running on my Magician (VPA compact) that works as a local answering maschine. It should, when reception of course, be able to receive a call, play a prerecorded message and record the caller. From a technical point of you, there should not be any problem. But I could not find any application providing this service.
Maybe one of you global guys heard something?

answering machine prob gave more hits then voice mail
as far as i know there is no such thing and some people say it's impossible
to make on xda's

Hi guys.
When I use my headset I would like to know who is calling. So I thought about it and came to two solutions.
One is to make a program to handle incoming calls and that can be configured to play the voice tag associated with the current calling contact, or if the caller isn't on the address book, then say the phone number (I would make 10 wav files each with one number spoken on it).
The second option was to search for something like it on the net.
For the first I've searched everywhere and I wasn't able to find how to programatically handle incoming calls and retrieve the call info.
For the second I haven't found such software.
Can someone point me in some direction?

Hi, i wondered if someone knows of an application that lets you see if the call you are receiving was direct or if it was forwarded from another phone?
It would also be helpful to be able to see it in the log as well, both answered and lost calls.. hope someone can help me with this.. im using a Diamond.

one question: i have an office phone which I forward to my Diamond2 on the weekends. But I cannot recognize a call to be a forwarded one on my Diamond2.
