Loop at android boot tmo my touch - myTouch 3G, Magic General

Hey is any one having trouble with their my touch from us. I power mine down then power up and it gets past the green my touch then gets stuck on android boot. Its ridiculous!! Just got it and it has some problem. I have had to hard reset 3 time already to at least use it.

Sounds like a defect man call customer care and get a new one! or ask if you can get it replaced at a T-mobile store that way no down time!

Oh snap man you know what I was actually about to post a thread with this same issue. Ive had mine for about 2 months now and never had a problem with it until today. I was using telenav and the market and listening to music when it froze up on me then I removed he battery then put it back in and it got stuck on the Android logo. It would have the animation of it starting but then after about 3-4 animations of the light on the Android logo it would freeze for about 5-10 secs then start the animation all over again left it like that for about 5 mins and it kept doing the same thing. So I decided to remove both my sd cad and sim card and still had the same issue. Then i decided to do a wipe and see if that help which I only did one wipe and it started working again not sure about your 3 times but mine started working after the first. But what were you doing when it froze? I just installed the NANO Theme For AHOME from MAPPN then as soon as it installed BAM!! IT FROZE!!

[Q] Touch Screen frozen in wph??

I've had windows phone 7 on my hd2 for quite some time now activated and everything and never had an issue. Then it started this morning where my touchscreen does no respond at all. The buttons and everything work just no touchscreen.
Do i need to reinstall or is there another way around it?
sometimes similary to me. But my screen freezes only for 3-5 seconds. And it often do this when i used finger-zoom.
i try'd to use the search button, but search was currently down... i'm glad i decided to read some past posts.
this is happening to me on a major level thou. i've had wp7 on my hd2 for close to a month now, i think. everything worked great. i didn't have any problems unlocking or even getting activation code for live services. it has been my daily. 3 days ago i started noticing that it took me a few swipes to get the touch screen to work. yesterday my sim card got corrupted and i had to get a new sim card. between yesterday and today my screen has worked maybe 80% of the time.
it gets so bad that i have to shut phone off, pull battery out for 5 minutes, and restart it to see if the screen will work again. sometimes it does, other times it doesn't. sometimes i'll hit the power button to turn screen on and off till i can use the touch screen. this can take up to 30 minutes alot of times.
i've gotten use to the wp7 os now and would like to keep it on my hd2, but if i can't use my touch screen because of it... then back to android or even the dreaded 6.5.
so are we the only 2 that has had this problem? is there a fix?
thanks! =)

I now have this exact problem. It started two days ago. It takes a long time for the touch screen to work again. First time it happened, I thought the touch screen died. Pulling the battery out worked for some reason the first time around. Now pulling the battery/SD card doesn't work. Even if the SD card is out and I let it boot, the screen still doesn't work. I'm stuck here waiting for it to come back. I hope it does.
This may be a hardware problem. Maybe the elevated heat running WP ROM affected it.
Here's a thread regarding an HD2 with a similar problem:

Brand New (pretty sure) Transformer Screen Issue

I just got my transformer in a few days ago, bought it off of a store on eBay that I HAVE ordered from before. All the plastic was on the device and everything, thank god I haven't flashed custom ROM. Just a few minutes ago my girl was playing pinball when the screen started going NUTS on her. The screen started flashing on and off and then colored waves of pixels started passing through random bits of the screen. The game stayed in the background while all this happened I guess on top of it. It just kept doing it and would act like it was going to stop for a second then happen again. Finally I was able to turn it off after having to time my ninja-like finger jabs with the screen flicker. I waited a few minutes and turned it on again. The ASUS screen popped up and then went black for a minute, I pressed the power button quickly and the Eee pad screen popped up and then went into the lock screen. Everything seemed normal for 2-3 minutes, I downloaded a quick dead pixel detector app and everything passed fine. I just rooted last night using Razorclaw, so I checked my superuser to make sure there were no problems (just in case) and it needed an update. I did so and checked it, because it kept force closing auto-open apps when the tablet booted, after the update those apps opened fine (titanium and rom toolbox). right after this, maybe about total 7 or 8 minutes after booting, the screen began flashing again as I was trying to uninstall the dead pixel app. eventually she timed her own finger jabs with the demon screen flicker and clicked OK to uninstall app. as it was uninstalling the screen started working fine. right after it was done uninstalling (bout 30 seconds), what do you know, the bloody ( i love that word) screen started being crackhead-ish again. Its turned off now. Does anyone have any prior experience with this issue? I will contact the razorclaw team to ask them if maybe its a side effect, but I just wanted to see if any of you folk knew anything about this. It IS a newer B70 model and I do have another 5 days to ship it for a return from the seller. I'm pretty sure I will unless I get a response with a sure fix for this being software or something. Also while I've got your attention, I'm under the impression I can boot to stock recovery to factory reset? hopefully at least.... and if I do so, please tell me this will remove root access?
Thanks much in advance for your answers, which I'm sure there will be some useful info as usual with XDA.

UPDATE: MY tablet won't turn on now.
Best option, return the defect peice..
Hey .. if you have 5 days to return to the shipper, go ahead and return the defect piece. My wild guess is that it has no connection to the software installed or rooted, its mostly an hardware issue (first of its kind though).
I have not faced any screen related issues with my B80 version...
Return this & Get Prime
Cheers,
Amrth
i do agree with the guy above,
write what hapend and return it, and in hope that they can fix it, if not u will get a brand new or the money back.
My TF101 works flaviously and it's something i wanted and even with custom rom its more better and funnier, so yeah, thats a hardware issue or some "wrong made tablet"

[Q]reboots i9505

Hi i have an s4 i9505.
It was bought from someone else so i cant go back to the store so i hope some people here can help me.
I flashed a GE rom on the phone and it got random reboots so i reflashed it to stock. It worked for 2 days and did a lot of reboots to test if it keept working. After those 2 days i wanted to insert another sim so i first rebooted to check if it still worked and it dit then i turned it off. I inserted the new sim (witch requires to pull the battery). I tried to boot it and it came to the unlock screen and even before i touched it it rebooted. It was stuck in this reboot loop.
The weird thing is that the more reboots toke place the shorter they took to get to a reboot. So the first time i got to lock screen after 2 times i didn't. Better said after 20 reboots it even rebooted in the startup sound. Now if i plug battery insert it again it does the same. If i leave the battery out for some time and put it back in it will boot again to lock screen (sometimes i can use it for 5 min before a reboot).
I already had done a new flash of stock firmware and also flashed cm10.2, cm11, GE4.4 and some more roms they all have the same problem.
I already replaced battery and didn't help a bit.
I hope someone can help me and give me a direction i have to look into.

How about the connector pins on the battery? Does one of them look like it's bent in so that it might not be making good contact all the time?
Do a factory reset and install my real AOSP http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397511, it will solve your problems guaranteed

Unmolested S7 stuck in boot loop..

This is an out-of-the-box Verizon S7. Never tried to root it or do anything with it. Out of seemingly nowhere, it just stopped turning on today. I know it sounds weird that I haven't touched the phone and it mysteriously "just stopped working," but I swear. It was working fine about 3 weeks ago. I left it uncharged (dead) on my desk for about 2 - 3 weeks without touching it. Now it won't boot. I contacted Samsung and my phone is out of warranty by 5 months.
I downloaded Odin 3.12.7. I booted the phone into Download Mode and flashed an Android 7.0 file from this website. After flashing the phone, it started to turn on properly, but then abruptly got thrown back into a boot loop before getting to the lock screen.
What can I do? I really just need my pictures and stuff off this phone, but it would be great if there's a way to make it work like it did 3 weeks ago.
edit: nvm. battery is shot, won't hold a charge and won't boot up for some reason.
Lithium Ion batteries don't like being stored with no charge at all! It's very likely that you've killed your battery and it can no longer generate or keep the voltage at the right levels. See this article about storing Li-Ion batteries for a better understanding.
EDIT: nvm. didn't see the edit.
if you flash twrp you can mount and take files off, i believe

Have you tried factory reset and wipe cache from stock recovery?

Nexus Player suddenly dead?

woke up one morning and i cannot get any signal over hdmi. i unplugged it and waited a while and plugged it back in, and i still get nothing from it. no audio or video. the white led in the front does light up. The youtube app on my phone detects a random chromecast singnal, but i cannot connect to it (it could be a neighbor but i doubt it). its completely stock. windows didnt detect anything when i plugged it into the usb port on my laptop. any ideas?
Mine has died as well. It will boot up to a white Google logo on a black background. The logo stays up for a while, disappears, and comes back a few minutes later. It never advances further. Tried holding the bottom button as I powered it up, but that didn't do anything.
Mine randomly died too. Went to turn it over to that source and nothing. Led light was on but no image. Pulled the plug and repowered it and still nothing and now the led won't light. Rather pissed. Loved that thing! And there is no true successor for it!
Mine started random reboots a week or 2 ago. Did a factory reset in settings and that worked for about 2 days then reboots again, also lost Wifi.
Did a reset via TWRP and nothing. Going to try a downgrade to android 7.
I followed this post and downgraded to 7.1.2 and it's found Wifi again. Working well so far.
i cant even get anything on the screen at all. guess I'm buying a shield.
i just had two nexus players randomly die as well, after google screen its just blank.
3 in 3 weeks
I have 3 Nexus players and they all died a week apart from each other. They would just stay in the Android boot screen. Factory resets didn't work. Was this a timed death of the product line?
*Update:
I was able to use the Nexus Root Tool to unlock the bootloader on one of my players and flash the stock Android from the Google developers site. It worked, but the same issue had happen 2 more times since! My other 2 players won't load the bootloader, so I haven't been able to do anything with those.
Yes, something seems to be up, mine died earlier today, too many people to just be coincidence. I was casting to it and it just rebooted and is stuck on the google startup animation. Stock, never unlocked or rooted, been rock solid up until now. I use it as a DVR so I figured maybe my external hard drive had crapped out and was causing a hangup since the light isn't on anymore, but same symptoms when unplugging it and trying to reboot.
Same thing here, with 3 devices. Hit the home button on our main TV earlier, and it went to a black screen. Rebooted, and it'll show the boot animation, then goes to a black screen where it normally would have went to the 10' interface. Tried our bedroom player, no signal at all. Haven't tried my spare in the basement yet, but I bet it'd work since it's not been powered on in about 6 months, since I replaced it with a cheap chinese player..

Update to my last post:
Add mine to the pile. 7.1.2 ran great for about a week. Now it just sits on the black google loading screen.

I just experienced this as well. Came home from work, plopped on the couch thinking I was going to catch up on some news and to my surprise my remote app on my phone wasn't finding the player in the network. Come to find out I have this black screen with the "Google" loop occurring.
Pressing the button the bottom didn't work - nothing. I never rooted, flashed a different OS, unlocked it - nothing. I really like this guy - I loved the design.

Exactly the same thing for me yesterday! WTH?!? I never flashed, unlocked the bootloader - nothing. I have to admit I do find this interesting that so many are having these issues withing the last few weeks - days.
Same here as well, just noticed this morning. Very interesting that all are experiencing the same issue around the same time.

Same issue here. Asus support wanted me to send it in for out of warranty repair with an upfront $60 charge before even getting repair estimates. I asked them to escalate it since this seems to have been a software update causing widespread issues. Also wrote them on twitter about it.
I've contacted ASUS support as well about my 2 stuck devices. They asked that everyone with the problem go to their support page and submit an email using the "Complaint" category.
Same problem here, yesterday I came home and it is stuck on the black screen that says Google.
Add mine to the pile.
mine doesn't boot up anymore either. i just sent a complaint email to Asus support as mentioned above.
