Wheel-2-Unlock is UNDER DEVELOPEMENT!!!

Here's an idea... when you turn your phone off, it locks... when you turn it on, you must roll your thumb/finger to the right around the wheel of the diamond to unlock it...
as you wheel around, the white line around the circle begins to fill from the top, moving rightward around...
sorry for the poor image quality, i just threw it together as a thought.
I hope a developer can throw this together, prolly isn't hard at all and would really be cool for the diamond. Better graphics and glowing line ofcourse.
its simple and utilizes the unique hardware of the diamond, and also the pro.

Wish i could, but i have no idea where to start. i'm in the dark here.

to clear up any confusion that may come up, the lights on the wheel itself don't need to light up as you wheel around... only the circle on the screen.
as you would pass a point on the wheel, another section of the ring on the screen would fill in.

Sounds like a good idea. Hope someone have the time to make it.

im sure that 'wheel-2-unlock' is one of the features of the TouchXperience ROM but it would take a long time for this rom to be released i guess.

i just DL'd that file on there and it wouldn't load on the phone... Prolly a difference in english device and whatever language that is device...
I'm not the primary developer cuz i don't know how to do so yet, but my boy on another forum is the one working on it... lets see what he comes up with.
i'll run it by him if he wants to talk to that R2U dev

I am working on such an idea already for a week or so:
CapacitiveFingerLock.
It will have another locking/unlocking mechanism on top of StylusLock, as described in this post:

Because I am now on a business trip in America, I had not much time to work on the program. But I haven proven already that it works. I have to remove some stuff from the proven program, and integrate it with my already existing StylusLock. The goal is that it does NOT cost extra battery power and CPU and is really simple to use.
The reason to add this, is to have it possible to lock and unlock "one handed". The StylusLock approach cannot be done "one handed", e.g. on a bike. Also some people do not like to operate with the StylusLock. The combination with this new CapacitiveFingerLock and existing StylusLock will suit more people. And sometimes people will use the Stylus, so they will get the right behaviour depended on the usage.

Good idea, as I do not use any locks or such applications, but this one sounds nice. Just remember that this app should not conflict with, or somehow overcover and incomming call

Woohoo, I've been asking for such a thing for weeks now. Do you have a working version already?
That would be awesome.

Definitely MUCH MUCH better than SensorLock and all the - no need to mention - rest!
Especially because SensorLock is still buggy as hell!

Easily solved:
Go to wisbar settings, press Taskbar, go to the 'Other' tab, and UNcheck 'The network icon uses the default icon' (aswell as the phone icon and optionally the notification icon)

Wisbar isnt ment to be that finger friendly (yet), however you can enable an option to make the icons bigger then pressed, exactly the way touchflo does

i really love your theme but its a shame that wisbar is so finger unfriendly...
i deinstalled it with a tear in my eye

if been trying to download the file from your site tryed about six times always hangs halfway through the download :c dont know if its my pc or your server :s
anyway would realy appriciate if someone could mirror the file...

I think it works but you have to press the icon at the very left side of it.
It's a small bug in Wisbar.

probably my server. Updated the download page (which keeps track of the number of downloads), it only allowed 30 seconds before timing out - explaining the lost connection. Changed it to 9999999 seconds, will that be enough ?

OK so just out of curiosity.....whats this supposed to do as dumb as a question it may sound?? heres why, cause i dled it...it installed i soft reset my phone an then when the girl thing came on she didnt move or do anything so it looked just like a wallpaper not like .gif so no animation which i thought thats what installing the cab would provide. im on an htc fuze please give me some info on this thanx!!! cool idea id like it more she moved like it shows on post 1....ciao

You can try If you experience any choppy animation or non, try changing your gif speed. With either Advanced Config under the HTC Animation pull down, or registry editor under HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation\. Try ranging the number around, 50, 75, 100.
Seems to strangely vary by the rom.

Glad to hear you like em! Did you try a soft-reset after installing? These were made to work with the default lockscreen. Are you using a different lockscreen app, maybe manila, s2u2, or some other? If your using the manila one let me know which team/teams you'd like and I'll convert the png's into manila for you.

Yeah, I've reset a bunch of times...It's wierd I have used your keypads, wait cursors, backgrounds, etc...and have never had a problem. I have never changed anything in regards to the lockscreen before. I have an AT&T Tilt 2 with windows mobile 6.5 touch flow3d 2.1

Oh see I made these with files from my phone and I'm on sprint's 6.5 sense 2.5. And I think the problem is cause of the sense2.5 - tf3d2.1 difference. I can make them for you if you can find the 4 images(lock, lock pressed, lock landscape, and lock pressed landscape) that are used for your lock screen. They should be in your windows folder. If you find them zip em up and attach them and I'll convert the images, for the team of your choice, to work..

I updated to sense 2.5 and all works fine! Thanks. Is there anyway you could make a Detroit Red Wings lock slider?

A square in the graphic? Maybe you mean the lock embedded into it.? Its the same effect I added to all of the lock sliders I've made. Would you rather the slider without the lock effect?

Aedon's FULL Dusk Keyboard Skins

So youve tried looking for keyboard skins befor and were excited about the great new look it gave your phone right?
BUT
You were dissapointed to find that it only skinned the very basic onscreen qwerty right?
I know I was.
SO
I did something about it.
If your familiar with the Sharkie rom, you might have noticed that his 5.0 rom featured a full keyboard skin in wich every single keyboard in the phone had been skinned in Dinik's iconic anastasia theme.
That was my first keyboard skin.
But after the fact I had noticed a themeI liked better then the anastasia glass.
The DUSK!
So I colaborated a bit more with sharkie to make this new full keyborad skin.
We decided that a traditional black and white look would be best and I went to work on this Dusk keyboard.
Stock green is just that, a stock green version
Sharkie theme was made to match the sharki roms aqua blue them.
Crimson Red was basicly for my use but I'll share

White keyboard keys fix
Ok... if anyone else has an issue of having white text on your keyboards instead of black like its sapouse to, this is what you do.
Follow thees steps exactly.....
First, download the "Black ezinputs.zip" at the bottom of this post.
Extract the folder inside of it and place it somewhere on your storage card.
Using total commander, navagate to that folder and click it.
Now, 'right click' or hold down on the file inside of the folder. (the file name should be 'ezinput.dll') and hit 'Properties'
Uncheck all the boxes under attributes.
(just click on the check mark, and it you have to click it again if it goes gray rather then dissapearing)
Click ok at the botom of your screen.
Now go to your windows directory.
Find the ezinputs.dll in your windows directory and do the same thing.
After hitting ok, rename this file to 'ezinputs2.dll'
Go back to the file on your sdcard and right click it and select 'copy/move'
then on the next window you have 4 choices
copy
move
tree
cancel
Select 'tree', then click on 'windows' (it should be the last item on that list of folders)
After that, it will go back to the window with the 4 choices mensioned above.
Select 'copy'
It might take a min to do this, just wait.
Once its finished there, soft reset.
After its started up, your keys should be black again.
All thats left to do is go back into your windows directory and delete the 'ezinputs2.dll' file.
Reset again just to be safe.
That should take care of it.
This guide was written under the pretence that you have used some other keyboard skin or file that has changed your text to white.
(Otherwise Id say you dont even need to do this as your text should be black if nothing has been tampered with.....)

Probably not all unfortunatly.
I have a Sprint touch pro 2 running Stock Energy on a 29020 build.
The touch pro 2 is a WVGA screen and the energy build is using EZImputs 2.1
If you want, go ahead and try it out to see if it works, if not post some screen shots so I can look over the mistake

Heres an idea I have.
I wont do it unless people ask for it, but it doesnt seem like too many people are really asking for much or even commenting.
But in any case, I changed the letter color to white.
I could make a dark themed dusk skin...

If you are running the android port on your phone, you should be able to install Root Explorer on your phone. Navigate to System/App/ and pull your keyboard and any other apk that you want to theme. I can help you with resigning the apk files and then you should be able to use root explorer again to push them back to their original location.
