hi everyone
how can i add TouchFLO ability to my jasjam ?!
is it possible to add separately or it should be cooked ?!
Correct me if Im wrong but I dont think hermes/jasjam can incorporate touchflo properly. Something to do with an incompatible touch.dll. I believe they came close and made some sort of touchflo variation but I dont know too much about this.
yeah i doubt 'bout it ...
but we will find out
Not TouchFLO but ButtonFLO. I am using the Dutty Supa Dupa ButtonFLO ROM which has the it cooked into the ROM. You can search at the Hermes WM6 forum to look for the ROM there.
Guys,
I have spend the last days in gathering info about the latest ROM's and maybe you can answer some questions for me.
I have a Herald (A Dutch P4350) from Vodafone.
After I got it, I immidiately upgraded the Herald to WM6.0 Dutch and added some nice goodies to make it look like a Touch.
No complaints, everything worked flawless.
This weekend I thought it was time for something new so the first thing I did was to hard-SPL the 4350 and to try some of the latest ROM's.
Right now I am using the Open Touch v3.0 SlimLine WM6.1 ROM with Duprade's keyboard fix.
Here again, no problems at all and although English is perfect for me I would love to switch back to a Dutch WM6.0 (or better 6.1) cooked ROM.
So my questions are...
Can I, although the thing is hard'spl'ed, use the official HTC RUU tool to downgrade it back to WM6.0 Dutch (plus some extra addons) ???
Is it possible, and I search and read and search the forum for hours (who likes to be called a n00b ), to "adjust" one of the home cooked ROM's into Dutch or any other language ???
Respect to all the guys who have spend hours, days, months in cooking these great ROM's
I was able to install the original ROM (HTC WM6 Dutch) over the hard-spl'ed Herald. The trick was to delete the included SPL.nbh first.
All is working fine now... in Dutch but.
Checking the memory I have just 17 Mb free from a total of 31 Mb
What happened with the rest of the memory ?
Anyone who can answer this for me ?
3rd party ROMs usually have a lot more free memory. Also your pagepool is probably set to 12mb.
Technically... I could expand my kitchen with different translations... but it's a lot of work and as it is, my time is very limited... How big of a demand is there for a translated kitchen?
I think there is a fast demand for translated (Dutch) kitches because almost every model of HTC is very populair here in Holland and there is, as far as I know, no cook for Dutch kitchens.
I'd say a spanish kitchen would be awesome... but i'm afraid i would be one in a very few.
You don't usually see lots of spanish-talking people in the wing-herald section. Anyone interested?
PS: i won't mind at all helping with that kitchen
It would be wonderful if there would come a dutch version for p4350!
HI all I'm sure its been answered 1000 times but i gotta ask myself..why can wm6 not be installed on this device ?? I know the cookers on here are great my s710 is working better than ever with the firmware they have devised so why cant some clever person sort a rom out for these?? I have a 6915 btw
cheers

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Dopod D810 and I was looking forward to upgrade its rom so that i can use its GPS function. I read a few posts and learn't that both p3600 and p3600i are different, however i am still not sure whether Dopod D810 is a p3600 device or p3600i device. Are the ROMs available here for both p3600 and p3600i or are thy different? Some ROM threads specify whether they are for p3600 or p3600i, but majority of them don't. So could you please let me know which category does Dopod D810 fall into and with which ROMs can i flash it.
Thanks
D810=P3600.U can see the CPU=400...
This is not a development question.
Moved.
ROM??
Can I install any of the ROMs available here on my dopod d810 or only specific ones for p3600? if so which ones??
Any of the P3600 ones should work fine. It truly is a matter of trying each of them and see what you like. There seems to be a LARGE range in what each different person likes.
If you want to get deeper into it, then try one of the Kitchens and create a ROM with exactly what you want included. You can choose between WM 6.1 or 6.5. I would recommend the kitchens from Chanvi/Oggi and Tomme45i as they seem to be the easiest to use for beginners.
Tomme45i: [ROM+KITCHEN][WWE][27.08.09]WM 6.1.21054 + 6.5.23017 Classic [ONLINE]
Chanvi & Oggi: [KITCHEN][WWE][FRA] [06.09.2009]WP6.5-23041;WM6.1-21042 Trinity Kitchen for all
Good Luck, and have FUN!

Swearing won't get you help...
Go to the "8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam ROM Development " section and look, and yes this may be time consuming but there is a description by the chef for their rom. Read...
Manilla 3d WON'T work on the Hermes so you're stuck with 2d.
