I am looking for WM6.1 Prof or WM6.5 for my device as it is "only" WM6.1 Std. installed and some software will not work with this edition. Any ideas?

Well, the major problem I see with this is that your device has no touch screen. No touch screen, no Windows Mobile Professional.
You're wrong Windows Mobile Professional run on SPV C600 and this phone don't have touch screen but users must use fake pointer.

This is more of a query rather than just chasing cooked ROM's but does anyone know if HTC or anyone within xda-developers have WM ver 6.5 suitable for use with the HTC P6500 Sedna? I don't want to lose any functionality of the fingerprint reader, just would like to have new proggies and a fresher look as Ihave had my Sednau since 2007.

6.5 is too slow, i like wm 6.1 system, most software could run on it, i want it so much, help!~ help!~ ^_^
That's not possible with this device. There aren't even good cooked 6.5 ROM's. You have to use 6.5 which is probably a good thing because it's much better than 6.1. I had an HTC Tilt which ran 6.0/6.1 originally and 6.5 ROM's only improved performance, didn't make it worse. Make sure you're running the latest official/clean ROM using the guides in this forum and you will be maximizing the performance of the X2.
