What abuuuuut T-mobile? I've heard other people on here (one actually working for them) saying 17th or 20th.....
Well, all the Swedish stores just say that they don't have any release date or that the phone is not in store yet.
So I've actually not seen a releasedate except the initial 15th of july.

a guy at king of gadgets told me expansys were ordering from HTC europe and that they had stock from HTC UK, and that was why the dates were different!
dutch shops and carriers:
Hi / KPN giving it an expected release of July 22th (was 8, then 14, then 18, then 20).
Pdashop.nl saying the unlocked can be delivered from July 24th onwards.
centralpoint.nl saying 7th of august.
Other webshops saying 'in stock within two weeks'.
So I have no idea, I hope somewhere next week .

Expansys have never ever got a release date right, they are just a hype train thats successful in making you preorder and keep waiting. i usually just wait until it says its in stock then just go over and pay cash at the expansys depot (1hr drive) lol
Well expansys UK still say release today, expansys Sweden say the 31th of July...

You even can not rely on expansys when they write they have it on stock - on friday, the 3rd of July, their web page said, they have 100 on stock (at least on their Hong Kong page). I already ordered on July the 1st. But, like all others, did not receive until now.

Theres a lot of pages on the web that state the UK release date as 30th Sept. But I cant find one shop website that states that!
For a phone thats being released tomorrow, Expansys stil says 'pre-order now'! And they are usualy pretty on the ball when putting up ACTUAL release dates. Could anyone shed any light on this situation?
Vodafone retail outlets (UK) claim change of date from 3rd Oct to 10 Oct. Expansys (UK) claim between 6 & 10 th Oct. Therefore consistently saying not this week

O2 in Germany cancelled the 41 calendar week and names now the 42 calendar week
I spoke to the Sony Ericsson store in London yesterday, to find out if they would have any demo units in today. Apparently even though the release date is today, it will be a couple of weeks before they get any in stock either for sale or demo. No word on pricing either

All this mystery about the price makes me think that they won't know how much to sell them for even when they're out...
Amazon Germany now lists it for 679,- EUR which is 40 EUR more then a few days before.
You can already buy it (not pre-order) but it's not in stock yet.
This is starting to remind me of the P990i release date, which was pushed back over 6 months or more

I am also in search of the exact answer, the date I found on different sites is not same.
It started shipping to sellers on the 30th, most are saying it will be available from Oct 6.
Most of the dealers are telling it will be on sale from 10th OCT.
O2 are apparently selling it now according to a couple of folk and the O2 mag.
Il be getting mine as soon as it comes out at Phones4u as they will buy a certain amount of my existing contract out! My existing contract has about £170 left to go. They gave my friend £100 for his contract so if they give my £100 towards paying of my existing contract id be a very happy chappy!

Yep....I did and got the discount although others have said they couldn't - may be a regional thing.
They still have them available online...next day delivery !

It could be that as they are coming off the production line they are being distributed to suppliers, so they have not stock-piled for a big on-mass release ?

Don't know tbh it was just a thought, maybe Asus are distributing to Comet first as they have physical stores that people can see a demo model.
Ebuyer`s dates have gone back too: April 22nd for the tablet on its own and the 19th MAY for the dock bundle, which I had pre-ordered. On the off chance I gave Carphone warehouse a call this lunch time to ask on delivery times for the tablet. I was told if I ordered before 4pm it would be delivered tomorrow. Placed order immediately and cancelled my Ebuyer preorder. I`ll take Asus up on their offer to order the dock direct from them

I remember when I was waiting for my Kindle they kept changing the date on the info page but the date on my order never changed - which was when i got it.
I never read too much into Amazons estimated dates tbh.

Hopefully the order date is the one that matters. If not I'm going to have to take this as a message from God. Nobody wants to sell me a Honeycomb tablet, time to get an iPad.
I have the eee pad transformer & k/board bundle on order with amazon since 4th April for an 18th April dispatch. When I saw the date change to 1st June was going to cancel, but managed to get a customer service number for amazon uk
Rang them & they told me that there was enough eeepads & k/board bundles in there fulfilement centre to despatch April 18th for everyone that pre-ordered before April 11th. If you pre-ordered after that date you dont get the bundle until june 1.
Bottom line is if your estimated dispatch date hasn't changed & is still showing April 18th on your order then you made the cut!!

The entire point of this thread is to exaggerate the woes of waiting for something to be shipped. These are on every devices' forum when they're released. Obviously "limbo" is complete and total hyperbole.
I ordered mine at 10pm in UK b/c I ordered past their cut off time for next day delivery I have to wait until Friday and its killing Me.

What provider? I ordered mine from AT&T yesterday afternoon and so far no update at all on shipping
I ordered a dev edition pretty close to launch time...chose overnight shipping. Called HTC for eta and they said it is on backorder until 4/3 but my status online says I'll get it 3/26. Well, today's 3/26 and now says estimate delivery 3/27. Weird..
I heard from another person who ordered around same time and the same model that HTC will ship starting Thursday (tomorrow) based on time of order.
Guess we'll see... fingers crossed!

Where do you live? That might have something to do with it. From what I can tell, people in outside the US seem to be getting November dates were as people in the US like myself, seem to get end of October dates. I ordered mine this past Friday (2 days after they went on sale) and got an October 27th through October 30th arrival date. Not that I think delaying international purchases is right, just an observation.

The UK mate, previously it has been 1 month for google to get shipments out to the us and uk generally were at the same time for people who ordered early, instead i ordered early this time and it seems people who ordered 2 days later in the us are getting them in oct! The UK has been well and truly shafted this time even though we're paying more it's bollocks tbh.
P.s a just black xl i ordered by the way.

and got me pixel 2 xl 64 black from US google
the uk store gave me Novmber so does the german
(the only problem is us plug but an adapter can solve this )

Exactly that's what i mean, they've had a whole year to develop the pixel 2 and they're still **** on shipments, it's the one major think I can't stand about Google's release policies.

The release date was announced as the same in the US and UK etc, but you are correct it seems as per usual for Google product launches the US buyers are receiving estimated arrival dates prior to the actual product release date (around the 18-30th of Oct for the 2XL in both colour/size(s)).
I ordered the 2XL Penguin during the stream about 10mins before Mario said the orders were live and have a delivery date of the 15th November in the UK.

Can't wait for the phone but yes this is just not good from Google, as if the wait wasn't long enough we get shafted by another 2 weeks, i just can't understand why devices weren't manufactured weeks ago ready for the launch.

We have to remember that Apple has similar long waiting periods. My mom ordered the iPhone 7+ the day it was announced and she received it just before Thanksgiving. So Google isn't the only one who can't fulfill initial orders. And they are guestimating that the iPhone X will have trouble fulfilling orders through summer of 2018!
Ordered mine on Friday, estimated ship date is Oct. 25th.
Ordered my Pixel 2XL (128 GB, Black and White) on the 4th, at 10:23 PDT. Delivery November 8th-9th. I'm not complaining, but I was hoping with 2 different manufacturer's, some of the delay time might be eliminated. Maybe it's more of a distribution side issue, than supply. Kind of reminds me of when I was a kid, and had to wait for Saturday morning, to watch cartoons. I don't think I would have such great memories, if they were available 24/7 like they are today. Anticipation can be a good thing. With that being said, give me my damn phone... Ha ha.
