I've got the MDA Vario 5 by T-Mobile. My Problem: I'm not satisfied with the clock on the Home-Screen. On the original device you can change the clock by a finger-gesture. On the T-Mobile device it doesn't work. Can anybody tell me how to solve this Problem?

Hello guys, i just bought aTyTN II and then i gave my old Qtek 9100 to my wife.
Now, she is asking me if it's possible to have bigger icons on the today, an animation when she will get an sms and also a sound that will ring till she don't read the sms she get.

I never tryed to use programs to change the today and then i don't know if it's possible and how.

what do you understand with "theme" ? do you mean htc home, a software or what ? you "tried methodes "? really confusing the video and all you wrote. the other thing is that this is a developers page and not a eten helpboard and for such cases you can use thread one !!!

Hi the problem why you don't get themes to work on your x500+ is probably because you have a vga screen and mostly all the themes released only work in qvga.
I had the same phone as you have (sold it a few weeks ago) and found that i had to redo most of the themes myself to get them to work on vga so you probably have to do that to.
If you look at my sig you can see some of my old vga projects maybe there is something for you there.

what do u need it for?
i'm only asking, as most settings can be done manually, or thru wizards.
the rest of the .tsk is annoying pictures and horrible colours.

Check out that thread. Has a cab with the black manilla theme. Or you could choose one of the many .cab based themes that are around!
i really do recommend you just flash a new ROM instead of installing a new manilla. the T-Mobile ROM is so horribly slow you'll be amazed how much faster the 1.93 roms are!

I have to say that he´s 1000% right. I have also Vario IV and thought that no need to flash, only changed the Theme. After 2 Weeks me was boring and I tried the Romeos 1.4.1 Rom .... Fantastik how much ist the difference ....

All you have to do if you want to get rid of the touchFlo interface and not install a new rom is to get TF3D Config and download some themes for it and you will have a new interface look and no flashing of your rom.

I have a T-Mobile MDA Compact IV as well and now am using the original black Touch Diamond Theme interface.
If in the future, you decide to go back to the original T-Moble interface, you can do so using TF3D Config.

Hi Chris I reccomend flashing a new rom, have a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416211, its a good guide, once you have completed you will be suprised, its like having a new device.
Hi all,
Currently am I using the MDA Vario IV from T-Mobile. Cause they delivered with a complete ugly theme am I using the black carbon theme. Now I have two problems and I hope someone can help me.

The music tab doesnt change like a normal Diamond when you go to library. So this way I can't remove any songs in that playlist or add them. Does someone knows how to solve this or work around it?
2. Programs
When I go to the Programs tab and press more I can't read the titles of the programs because the font is still black. Does someone know where to change the color of this font?

Hmm, go to the Raphael forum. This forum would be for the T-mobile equivalent of MDA Compact IV. Hope you find an anwer.
