When i walk arround, i keep my phone horizontaly in a nice leather case.
When i want to use and take it out. This is vertically, i need to wait like
15 seconds before the screens rotate's to vertically settings.
Also when im using it, and i held it a little bit horizontally, he flips to that.
I don't like that. Is there a way to stop or disable this g-sensor from working?

Landscape only works with a few apps such a Opera and the SMS apps. The main functions of TF3D are always in portrait AIUI. Have you perhaps installed some software that tries to put TF3D into landscape (such as is the behaviour on the Touch Pro when you open the keyboard?).
Go to Start\Settings\System\G-Sensor and disable 3D Acceleration

Asuming that you have WM 6.5 you can do following:
Works only with TF3D enabled:
Move the TF3D slider to Settings (under red and yellow arrow) slide the list up and select G-Sensor second from bottom (inside red ellipse):

I tried to add some height to my bottom status icons, but it's not very "nice" (if I click between the Home button and one of the Status button, I actually click on one of these last buttons ...)

Set the fixed plugin height to something like... oh, try 190 pixels
try this. its from the LG Prada Plugin. go into settings>today>items>spacer2 and then options on the left hand side. you can set it to any number of pixels you want to go between the two today items. you can then place it where ever you want it on the today screen, and activate it.

I have AT&T tilt with WM 6.1 rom. I'm using skyfire everyday. One of a kind!
I'm watching this website www.kab.tv most of the time while i'm driving.
so, I have to fire up the skyfire by touching the icon on my tray in the bottom of the screen, then I have to wait 30 seconds for it to get to the homepage, then i'm touching the bookmarks and after few second I can choose my website.
It's kind of not safe to do that while I'm driving

Is there any way to have a website shortcut or some plugin on/for the today screen?
all I wish is to touch the icon on the today screen and have my website open without doing all of the above.
I know jB5 browser has the ability to have 3 shortcut on the today screen.

you are right, thats not a safe method but watching videos while drivings is never safe
you need a plugin/launcher or a GUI with icons that can open a exe like "skyfire.exe" with a parameter like "http:\\www.yahoo.com". i think there are many apps out here.

i set a tab with my bookmarks, you just need skyfire to be your default browser
Just sharing what I found:
Screen Rotator detects the orientation of the device and uses its built-in configuration dialogues to create rotation behavior rules for specific applications, with an extended option to blacklist and whitelist un/wanted programs. A very neat feature is that it will turn the screen off if the device is placed face down but it also has a great option to prevent the screen from going off automatically if the device is not perfectly laid down flat (otherwise, when flat, normal behavior occurs).
After downloading and installing it to Device, it will stay resident after launching and get the device orientation in order to properly rotate the Windows environment, though it has options for minimizing and hiding.

P.S. Hope the real developer will notice this thread (unless he has done so), and maintain it, after deleting this thread completely and openning a new one, as this is a great application with some extra cool functions, compared to SKKV Software’s GSen.

I would like to know how to just get my phone to "black out" the screen when I receive and "Accept" a phone call, like one of the s2u2 settings.
That one feature would be great because I can't get s2u2 working consistently on my phone (HTC Sprint Vogue).

try using 1.16 it seems to work the best for me on my touch
i tried it but s2u2 (also 1.16) does not work well on my Vogue.
Isnt there an app that can just black out the screen like that one particular feature in s2u2? AC figured it out for his app...

I have the vogue as well and thats why I told you to try the s2u2 1.16 version I haven't had any issues with it, I am not aware of any app that exists just for the blackout function alone

I like to quick window cover but the app choice and the accidental swipes whilst in my pockets are a bit irritating. I've been trying to make a custom quick window setup and pretty close so far:
At the moment I use Tasker's proximity and light sensors to open a second launcher with my own widgets and shortcuts etc, on task exit it reloads last app or default launcher. Works pretty well but the proximity/light sensors aren't a great way of activating the task as they pick up accidental inputs.
My questions is re the built in quick window sensor - I am assuming its magnetic? Can Tasker (or a plugin or tweak) have access to this sensor?
If so the possibilities are endless for tweaks and customisations through Tasker - cant seem to find anything though...

as far as i can tell it's magnetic, there is a round disc under the lining of the quick window cover right near the hinge (see attached)...I agree with you, the app selection could stand to be expanded!! I don't know if tasker can access this sensor but I'm interested in your findings!
