Android System Sounds? - G1 General

Okay, I've searched but nothing.
I'm missing all of my system sounds, I used cynogen's mod along with HTC hero theme and with JF's 1.5 ADP. Of course, newest radio and spl.
I've searched and searched and I cannot find any of my system sounds. E.g. "Look at me", "Rattlesnake" etc. They're all missing, I'm using both rings extended and the normal android system but can't find them. Anyone else have this problem?

ClockOnTop displays funny

I tried Andot's 6.0 rom and loved the clock that was on top. When I switched to ALEUT 6.1 rom, the clock was not there. Then I found out it was the program clockontop and I've installed it, but the numbers are all scrunched up. I'm assuming it's because the executable I downloaded was ClockOnTop_QVGA. I have not found one that isn't with that QVGA yet.
I know I could reflash and copy the exe then flash back, but that seems pretty drastic.
Does anyone know where to find the right one, or if you are using Andot's, could you send me a copy of the file?
(yeah, i've searched and searched on here and google as much as i can. maybe i dont know the right search strings)
Thanks

[Solved]how do i update media library?

The built in library, at some point i could update it and fetch new mp3 files on the sd card and similar.. But for the life of me, i cant find the function now... Im using a jf 1.51 version rooted dream.
Maybe i should state, that i have been able to do it before, where it updated itself, but for some reason it dosnt do it now when i enter the music library. And when i use the search i cant seem to find the thread that i used a good while back, its as if most of the stuff that used to be sticky isnt anymore..
Im just wondering if i could update the phones music library with a third party app such as the wikitunes or such. Since i after a wipe realised that there are no built in ringtones on the update i have from jf 1.51... So in order for me to even get stuff i have to figure out if the rom on the phone have gone sour and i just need to rewhipe and update with a fresh installation maybe..
Very interested in all of your input guys!
IIRC it automatically scans for new music. I could be wrong, though.

Yup, i think so too..
I think its solved now the issue, apparently something goofy happend to my dream, so i ended up having to format the sd card completly, and then repartion followed by whipe, reflash of the rom i use, and another whipe just to be sure!
Now its working automaticly, or if i use Tune Wiki to force the update.
I was going out of my mind cuz i couldnt understand why it happend! And when i posted it in dev as there might be an error with the jf 1.51 some goofball reported it apparently, in stead of takeing a second to ask or do anything.. Who knows, i could have found a bug of some sort... Oh well.
Now i need to figure out what that whole new thing about hero and hays 6.0 and that wierd new spl is about! I havnt been on for a while, since my dream was working great! And when i get back on the forum its like a massive new update thing going on

Nexus 1 Notifications on Hero

Sorry if this was asked already, but was wondering if anyone knows how to put the nexus one sounds and notifications on the sprint hero. I'm looking to put notifications, alarms and ringtones from the nexus 1 on to the hero as I got acustom to them on the darchstar 2.1 ROM. Unfortunately I had to flash to a 1.5 custom ROM as I had a hard time dealing with the bugs in the 2.1 ROM.
If anyone could up load these files and post a tutorial on how and were to push them onto the phone would be greatly appreciated.

The sound files are inside the ROM zip itself. On you PC open the ROM > system > media > audio. In there you'll find notifications and ringtones folders, just unzip the ones you want and copy them to your phone.

first off you need a file explorer - I have Astro file manager
anyone else duplicate it please post
found a glitch hopefully its just my rom i flashed and not across the board.
i used astro had a image (jpg) and touched it until it asked me set as.
i selected set as than chose wallpaper and it errors out with the following error
http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/2433/snap20100629225608.png
also only way to clear it is to reboot as it just is a endless cycle of the same error
who would be the one to contact at htc? also I wonder if this is an android issue. anyone have any other android devices to test it on?
Which ROM are you using?
EVO_1.47.651.1_Rooted
Try reflashing, and was it doing before you upgraded?
not sure, and i decided not to do it that way. it seems others over at ppcgeeks can duplicate it
have you tried a different rom? a different file browser?
no other roms myself. but it seems others have
stock rom current sys updates and astro does it also

How do I change my system fonts without overwriting originals?

Is there some sort of application that works on android 4.2.2 to change system fonts without erasing the originals in case of problems? I have searched the forum prior to posting, but the best I could find was outdated threads on older versions of Android. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
im sure ive added fonts before and the old ones dont get overwritten? just like adding new ringtones, notification tones
