I have a Orange SPV M700 (HTC P3600), Since One year i didn't use the phone. Now i need to get some professional contact but i didn't remember the password i put in the phone. i there a possibility to reset the password without lose all my data ? can somebody could help, i need all my contacts thanks

Hello all ! Being new to swithching roms and all that.
Can you tell me if I can change a new xda2, on o2 ,bought from ebay to orange,since this is the payg sim I use?I know I don't have to but it all comes together better then.

Yep did mine no problem - jut unlock it with software from this forum and stick the SIM in
xda2 on oange rom

I actually just put the Orange SIM in and left the O2 software intact. I don't use WAP, GPRS, etc so didn't need to change anything.
I did have a problem with SMS messages being blank, so I upgraded the ROm to the IMate one and found that texts worked OK so log as I put a +44 in front of the phone number.

When the main battery of Orange SPV M500 goes flat the phone will lose any data stored :x (unless I store all data on the expansion card or sim card).
Do you think there is hardware problem? Or is it a problem can I solve myself? How?

PS: Sorry but I need another help from you :? . I've posted another topic, because this pda is still lock (Orange); I've read some post telling some problem doing unlock (for ex: SPV M500 Locked to all Networks after Unlocking). Do you think is better to unlock or is better to totally change the rom?

No, thats technically not true ..
If both battery power were to be used, then you lose ALL your data and a hard reset is required ..
however, if you regularly back up to your pc, or if you use sprite backup or similar then its only a little downtime ..
Its not a problem with the phone/pda per se., its by design as each application installed will consume power ..

I found the Qtek phone on the nightbus. I could not get it do do anything, the only items displayed is in french and I think it is asking for a password.
Translated the french on google - it says "Enter your password and support on OK". The phone is a Qtek S200.
Is there any way that I could remove this passowod/pin?

You should turn the phone in to the nearest lost and found or the police so the owner can claim it rather than trying to open it!
Well, if it's the password for the picode of the simcard, just remove the simcard.
If it's the wm5 password thingy just do a hard reset
But I have nothing to doubt your good intentions. And the only reason you want to get passed the password is to find out who the owner is of this phone.
But as someone said above, the best thing to do is to bring it to the closest police station where you found the phone!
I recently broke my orange spv m3100's screen and I cant rerieve my contacts which I have not backed up - Iknow! I have tried to activesync it without any joy, I have tried to copy all contacts to sim through sim manager using a friends m3100 and using key presses to go through the menu structures - this didnt work. Please does anyone know how I can get the contacts off. I really dont care about the phone only the contacts - anyone have a spare screen I can connect to it once Ive got contacts off I will post the phone to you to keep for the use of it.

I cannot explain why but my wm5 mobile device pwd is not working anymore. I know that I could do a hard reset loosing thus all data I got on my phone. Unfortunatly my last synch is some time ago and I'd prefer a way to gain access to my mobile without a reset because I need the contacts I got on it.
Does anyone know if there is a software, a company or someone who may help. (HTC, MIcrosoft... anyone)
