MSVC works with Calkulin ROM - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

I am currently running Calkulin ROM build 21812 on a Sprint Touch Pro with MSVC version 1.6.21812 and the announce incoming calls feature inexplicably works.

Help with Skype 2.2 - Released 31, July 2008

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything specifically on this topic.
I just tried this install and it went smoothly with no problems. I am able to see all of my contacts, I can call my contacts and they can call me, however, I can't seem to get any audio - they can't hear me and I can't hear them.
Is this similar to the problems with the previous versions? This version specifically says it is compatible with Windows Mobile 6.1 (I have DCD's latest ROM)...
skypes been broken in wm6.1 for a while, it seems that this one didnt fix it. has someone with a 6.1 stock rom tried the new skype? skype doesnt care about dcd roms. they only make sure that their software works with official roms. it might be an issue with them not supporting the titan, at least if it doesnt work in the stock rom than thats what it is

with previous versions of skype on wm6.1 would freeze; I think I noticed the problem after I upgraded my radio to enable gps. On the htc touch (cdma) with the new version (2.2.0.45), I'm having the same problem. Skype opens and loads just fine, but no audio. I've posted about this problem on the skype forum of the skype website, but no reply yet.
yup, seems to be the same problem with fring too except I can actually hear stuff with the fring.
With skype, I get sound on the speakerphone with the new version, but I only get the first ring and the hangup sound, thats it.
Good thing for skype to go! I have a unlimited calls to 5 favorite numbers so I can use that meanwhile.
The best thing possible tho would be to have AGEphone mobile with the fix for the Titan\Mogul (they have a fix for the HTC trinity, Hermes, Touch (Dual) and Kaiser)

The 'ol Smart Dial app

If anyone needs this app I have Helmi's dialpad and smartdial working on xplodes 20226 rom.

Looking for DCD

Hey I am looking for a dcd rom for a Sprint Mogul/ppc6800 that has touch flo 3d, AGPS, and Audible text messaging. Does anyone know of any out there with those features? Thanks
As of now there is no TouchFlow3d running on Titan that is at all usable. TouchFlow2d (Manilla) is your best bet, and runs very well on a Titan.
Scott Crosslers rom has most of the features you are looking for, however aGPS is not specific to any rom, as the rom flash itself can't enable or disable it. You have to do it via QPST.
As for the audio text messages, I believe MSVC will do this and can be installed on pretty much any rom as well.
Let me know if you have any other questions, or look for scrossler r4r rom. He has a kitchen, and it's based on DCD's rom, so you get the best of everything in it.

[FIX] Possible 2.10 576mb background noise / static fix

Hey folks,
I just installed Duttys HG V1.7 2.10 based rom with 576mb enabled. Radio is 2.08.50.08_2.
I switched back to non-576mb roms few weeks ago since the poor call quality with the background noise issues was still present.
I thought I'd give it another try especially after reading on HTCPedia that a guy installed a HTC Hotfix which made the noise issues go away.
So I tried it too, and well it seems promising. Can't test real calls yet, but a direct comparison, calling my voicemail box, directly before and after applying the fix, showed that after the fix, voicemail didn't show ANY background noise anymore. Which was present before ...
So if anyone wants to try the fix with a 2.10 576mb rom ... here you go:
Update: Smaberg pointed me in a priv msg to this cab, that he also provides for his roms ... I guess it does the same, replacing that .dll. Here is the link to the .cab.

Seems to fix it for me.

is this applicable to LEON Rom as well?
also is there more info on this?
If it fixes it have you thought about contacting Dutty and getting him to include it in the ROM so that its automatically cooked in...?
I tried it on Miri v11 with radio 2.08.50.08_2 but it seems to be exactly the same as before...
Thanks, that seemed to have made the call quality much "cleaner". I use to hear static and some sort of compression (or like in echo cancelling) but now, those same numbers when i call seem to be much clear.
Thanks again.

Well then Miris V11 must be somehow different. I am talking about Com2 Roms, not Com3 as Miris V11 is I think.
I just did some more testing. My background noise/static problems are definately gone with that fix on Duttys HG 1.7, 2.10 based, 2.08 radio, 576mb enabled. Just had a crystal clear conversation with my GF

it works just fine on miri's latest v11 for me.

Ehm, man. That's what the hotfix does obviously. Why replace it manually?

Because if you are cooking ROM's it makes sense to add it in for your users. If you are just a user then the hotfix is good for you.
can i upgrade to this t-mobile rom with 576 ram radio on my uk vodafone hd2 and stil make calls and use the 3G services?..thank guys

Q - 2g and 3g dialer files mix

Hi all,
I have a Topaz, which supports video calls. BUT I love the latest 2G Leo dialer, because it displays contacts waaay faster than the original Topaz dialer.
So the question is: which dll's do I need to mix to have a fast contact searcher, but also have video calls?
Thanks in advance!
Did you try out the latest Huashan Canvas? It supports videocalls and should be as fast as the leo dailer

Yes, its very fast. But the video calls do not work on the Topaz. Also, I am cooking for COM2...
Did you try Rhodium Dialer?
It works very well even on LEO.
