It was working fine yesterday. No sound come through earphones and speaker when playing mp3s and watching video! I don't know what happened. I don't know what I did today. I was playing some music through tunewiki and was playing around with ringdroid.
Edit: Songs play fine in ringdroid. Some reason no sound when playing media outside of ringdroid! What is going on!
Reflash the new HTC radio.
Reboot.
BTW, what ROM are you using?
Hi thanks for trying to help. I am using Hero 1.5, or whatever it's call. I wiped and now it's working again.

Hey all,
I seem to recall seeing this problem ages ago but I'm not able to dig it out anymore.
I'm using my phone as my music player in my car... but i find that answer my phone, the musics just stop playing... it's still playing in the music player, but no sound comes out... i have to reopen the music player to get it going again.
I've tried using both WMP and MortPlayer.
Anyone got any idea?
Thanks in advance!

Haven't had any problems yet. Try reflashing.
I Updated my Magic to Rogers new image. Its working actually pretty well except for one very annoying and perhaps embarassing issue.
When a call comes in and I am listening to meridian or the builting mp3 player on my headset instead of the phone RINGTONE it starts playing the audio I am listinging to over the speaker.
Before the update it used to put my music on HOLD and then play the ringtone. if I declined or ansewer then hang up the music would be un paused.
this does not seem to be happening since the update.
Anything I can do to fix this?
Cheers

Just tried to reproduce the error, sorry didn't get the same bug.
Try repicking the ringtone from your music player?
Hey,
I've searched through all the topics and I'm pretty sure this hasn't been covered.
When I'm listening to music on my phone, both using bluetooth and the crappy HTC wired headphones, my tracks will randomly skip and play a few seconds of a totally different track, then just back to playing the original track I was listening to.
The track name/album art/timeline don't jump, they continue on as though everything is normal and the original track is playing but the music jumps.
I've tried playing music through the player that came on the Magic and also the Cuber^3 one. Though I also had bluetooth button issues with the Cubed one.
I've searched around on google and haven't heard of anyone else having a similar issue.
What do you guys think it could be?
I've got a 4GB Kingston HC, with a little 4 in a circle on it.
My Magic has Android 1.5 and SenseUI running on it. It's TIM branded, not sure if that help working out what's going on.
Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone
I tried putting some new mp3's on my phone earlier. Other ones work ok. These new ones are a garbled mess like theres all sorts of reverb on them when playing from the phone speaker. On headphones they sound perfectly fine. I tried them with Google Play Music and with Doubletwist.
I tried re-encoding with Audacity but it hasnt made a difference :/ They are still garbled with the phone speaker but fine with headphones :/
Any ideas on this?
