Yes, me too! I also want to know where can I buy the GSM Antenna module for my I-mate Jasjar (the interior one), as well as the mylars that cover isolate the antenna from the rest.

Wow. Expensive! You can buy a complete UNIVERSAL for 27,000 INR / £350 approx!
I have used fully working boards from XDA execs - o2 roms but unlocked, for £100 = approx 8K INR, and they are not barred. Postage international approx £7.
I also have other parts for the Universal - pm me to ask. I sell them on ebay and have a feedback of +1600, many people here have bought from me.

I will accept paypal with some conditions but prefer bank transfer, my seller ID is fluffcat1 and if I don't have your country listed as a 'sell to' country they won't show up on your ebay site, but I have none currently listed anyway...

anyway,
i recently broke my screen as well, went to o2(im from uk btw) and the person there told me it would roughly cost me 100 pounds (about 200usd) to get it fixed.
i have the universal for about 1 1/2 to 2 years now and im not sure if its worth getting it fixed. the batt is also rather dead as well.
i would like some input on this. would it be not cost effective to get it repaired or just sell it off with the broken screen?(if so roughly how much ill get for it?)

If you're in the UK I'd say take the phone to the Carphone warehouse it'll cost you 45 quid and take around 2 weeks but it's definitely worth every penny!

went to CPW justnow and they no longer do repairs on it.
called up o2 and they told me the charges would run about 160quid to 200 which is totally stupid.
guess my option now is to ebay it.

you can order the lcd on ebay for 100€. dont know what this is in pounds.
exchanging the lcd yourself is quite easy. there is a manual in the forums telling you how to do it. otherwise you could just sell your universal on ebay. i think max prize you can achieve is 120€.

Good if your in the US (899 USD or £624 GBP). They do ship worldwide, but obviously that adds a fair bit onto the price.
Best place I could find in the UK was MNC Group (My New Cheap). For some reason they have a picture of the Advantage X7500 but it is the Shift they are selling for £599.

Where is the cheapest place to get one at the moment?

how much do u want for it?

A used Shift in new condition goes for around 4000sek ~550usd in Sweden.
I thougt i might give you some perspective since i find i to be very cheap.
I got mine for 3000sek ~430usd and that was a bargain.
A new orginal shift battery retails for 250sek ~35usd in Sweden.
It may be because it's a relatively unknown device here.

Its in perfect condition and even has an Invisible Shield ( protection film ),
so no scratches etc.
Runs Window 7 like a charm.

30$ is really cheap and usually you get what you pay for.

Yeah I bought one, (not from china) and it worked fine. I think the total was under $33. Only took 2 or 3 days to get here.

I am after a digitizer by itself, I have purchased a TyTN 2 for repairing, but the touchscreen has no sensor? no feeling?.. um, non-responsive
So I won't need an LCD, if you know any good eBayers that ship to Australia please PM me?
