Keeps restarting - Wing, P4350 General

I have a t-mobile wing and it keeps restarting. How can I fix this? I got the phone off ebay and it was working great. I really have no clue on how to fix it, if someone could, can someone please help me.

i am also facing the same problem! can some one plz provide a solution?

Pop out the micro sd card and power it up

If that doesn't work, Hard Reset the device.

same thing happens to mine. I take out the micro sd card, after the t-mobile white screen and the windows mobile screen stopped and entering the today screen, plug your micro sd card back in. It works.
Or.... remove your battery for a couple minutes, and put it back in and turn off your phone. Usually it works

IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE TO SWITCH ON MY K-JAM

While i was trying to install a program to my k-jam following the instructions suddendly switched off and never recover. I have tried several times to soft and hard reset it but nothing happened.
Please help.
Try removing the battery, let it sit for a minute or 2, replace the battery, put it on charge for a few mins and then try turning it back on with the charger connected...
SWITCH ON
THAT DIDNT HELP
When all your text comes out in capitals try either pressing your caps-lock button or take the paperweight off of your shift key.
Thanks.

I am having a similar problem. My i-mate K-JAM turned off while browsing the other day and will not turn back on. no leds light up when hooked up to USB charger. Tried the battery idea, but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Mmmm... sounds like there may be some hardware problems here maybe... I think your best bet would be to talk directlty to imate and see what they think. Maybe an exchange unit is in order here..
Good News! I actually got the phone to reboot and come back up without a hard reset! I just let it sit on the USB charger overnight and it soft reset and came back. The Bad News :-( It now tells me that my miniSD card is not installed even though it is still in the device. I am searching other posts now to see if there is a solution.
I will answer my own question here. After playing around a bit I figured it out. While the K-JAM was plugged into USB, I took out the miniSD card and re-inserted it back into the device. It is now visible. Whew!
I had a problem with the device not recognizing my card with the right name once. For some reason it renamed my storage card by appending a 2 to its name and created an empty entry with the default name. My advice would be to check this with a file manager. If you see this then delete the folders and remove and reinsert the your card. Hope it helps and back up your card before trying this.
Edit: MOOT POST Glad you got it fixed.

My 8525 died on me too! For no apparent reason it just powered off in the middle of a conversation and never came back. Good thing it still had a few days of warranty remaining.... that was close.

black screen problem in 2.2

Hello friends,
I have been facing black screen problem everytime in 2.2. İt always happern when I watch video or picture from sd card. Whwn I set the phone to sleep and open it, always black screen comes, something writes and phone closes.
I am using standart sd card and it is 2gb.
Can you help me about this problem?
hey, same problem, also using standard 2gb sd card.
try it for a day without your sd card in, worked for me, but i need sd card for music, pics everything so im going back to 2.1 til this is sorted,
greast rom, but need my phone working 24/7 and dont need to check it constantly to see if its hanged or frozen or the usual line of code,
but still great rom
I think it occurs from sd card, it happens whwnever I reach to sd card. I wonder why everybody does not live the same problem?
will it be useful if I format the sd card or get a better(class 6) sd card?
i think there has to be a common factor between it, obviously isnt software because there would be more ppl with errors and such.
ok my sd card were/are used in the following devices :-
xbox 360 as portable device to play mp3's through a cheapo usb card reader
win7 lappy through phone usb
similar stuff or ?
if ur still on 2.2 have you tried turning off debug mode when your using phone normally, might have an effect?
and does it also constantly remount when you unlock your phone?
sorry for the lots of questions but im interested now, this is the only thing stopping me from keeping 2.2, had 2.1 back all day and no issues, happy phone again
ı changed sd card and formatted but again crashes when phone unlocked.
any help please?
the black screen is known as screen of death (sod), try changing the kernel verson, or the radio, it is not a sd problem, i have done it and it is working fine on mine

Focus battery issue

Sorry if this has been addressed, but I haven't seen it anywhere.
Got my Focus just under two weeks ago. Added an SD card, no issues before nor after the SD "fix."Starting yesterday my phone started randomly turning off. NOT resetting, as no data was lost, and it turned right back on.
I'm fairly certain its due to minor jarring, and is therefore a battery connection issue. I'm going to go ask for a new battery at the ATT store and try that before asking for a whole new phone.
I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. Also, if I got a new Focus, can it reformat my SD card, or is it locked to the specific phone?
Thanks guys.
its your sd card.... even though there is no data lost the turning off and back on is it rebooting ... you need to try a card thats been working.... there is a nice list on here or just buy a samsung one..
you can try a format and try the card again but theres a good chance it will happen again...btw what sd is it?
16 GB Sandisk, class 4. It doesn't turn back on on its own, though. I manually turn it back on. Kind of like if I did a battery pull, it would shut off and I'd have to manually turn it on.
Pull the card, leave it out and format... If the condition continues then its the phone, but I'm betting it will work fine.. Here's to hoping. It is strange but certain sd cards give this phone fits... the format is power off. Press n hold vol down, camera, and then power. Keep all pressed till you see the format screen pop up... Hope this helps...
Well, I put in one of those Samsung cards in from that ebay seller, and next day got a similar turn off, so I'm gonna say it's the phone.
If I switch it out in-store, can another Focus reformat the card, or am I gonna have to borrow one of their Nokias?
Your Focus randomly shuts down or reboot?
Captivate had random shutdown issue, wish it's not on Focus.

Shuts down, have to manually turn on. No loss of data.
And I've reproduced it by setting it down on a hard surface multiple times, so bumps seem to be jarring something.
when you get your new phone just plug in the sd card and do the format.... it will set the card up in that phone.

LOL I found this out after I was told ATT doesn't even sell Symbian phones. Good to know.
So did exchanging the phone solve your problem? I have 16gb SD card (sandisk class 2) it was working fine for the first two month, but last month the phone start to randomly reset about once a day. I took out the sdcard and battery reseated them both (not resetting data) and it seems to work fine for about 2 weeks (may be one random reboot once) but last few days the phone would reboot everytime I set it down on hard surface. It doesn't do it all the time but do it enough to be annoying.
I really don't want to exchange the phone unless I have to.

If by reboot you mean it just turns off, then that's what I was experiencing. I changed SD cards and it came back the next day.
I just switched phones today and haven't seen it yet, but I'll get back to ya in a week. Switching phones wasnt too big of a hassle for me, though, so you might just try that now while you're in your 30 days.
If it keeps happening, I don't know what phone I'll switch to. Shouldn't have jumped on that Zune 12 mo pass just yet.

[Q] Any idea whats wrong? Phone appears to freeze

Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out the possible cause to my issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 with stock rom. I also have a samsung class 2 micro sd card that I've had for quite some time. (I believe I got it back with my S3 or possibly before that in the Mytouch days).
I started having the issue when I would click on a photo in my gallery and it started lagging and then it wouldn't open any of them as the drive appeared to be corrupted. Then I attempted to restart then device and had no luck there as it would freeze on the carrier screen as it was turning off. So the only way to turn it off was to remove the battery. I played with this issue for a minute trying to figure out the cause and eventually device I was just going to do a master reset. However again once I went to turn the phone off to do the master reset the phone once again froze up and was unable to turn off due to being on the carrier screen. Then I just went directly into the bios of the system by holding the pwr volume and home buttons to do the reset from there. That did work and I got the phone all back up and running. However SD card was still not working So i went to go power it down but it again froze so I took the battery out and removed the sd card as well as the battery and with the sd card out everything functions fine. I plugged the SD card into my computer and it proceded to check it for errors because it couldn't find any data on the drive. It checked for the errors then after the check was done it came back with nothing. But all the data was intact. So I put it back in my phone. Everything worked fine, I was able to view my sd card files on my phone and computer, then I went to sleep. Put the phone on the charger. I woke up to my phone being off and not wanting to turn on. So again popped out the battery and was able to get it started but same issue sd card is not being seen by the device but its causing it to not turn off or restart properly.
Does anyone have any idea if this is just a corruption issue with just the card it self? Or is it possibly a virus that got into the micro SD card? Everything was working fine prior to last night. The sd card had been used in multiple phones as well as the Galaxy S5 that I've had for about a month.
Thanks

There isn't a virus. You CANNOT get viruses on android without installing an APK (99% of the time). It's most likely a bad SD card. Why are you using a class 2? I would just upgrade to a class 10 samsung / sandisk card and see if the problem still exists.
