2.0.0.5 how to set target directory for photo and video ?

I am using the latst 2.0.0.5 build and cannot find a way to have the camera store the picture taken and video in a specific directory on my memory card.
Does anyone know how to achieve this?

kust open the cam app and you will see a msg to store in memory or in card

Thanks but you misunderstood my question.
With rom 2.0.04, the pictures where stored in "my pictures" on the memory card and the video in "my video", on the memory card.
Now, with 2.0.0.5 everything (picture and video) is stored in the root of the memory card, not in a separate folder ??? any other ideas?

i just understand i have tried and fotos and video all are stored in the same folder /my documents/, not in diferent folders strange very strange

Make 2 folders within My Documents one My Pictures and the other My Videos. I think this will solve your problem

You must modify windows registry.
Look here:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\Image]
You can change GpsSaveFolder_XXX parameter for exemple (GPS photos)
XXX is for your language

soory but this key does not exist!
And what about the video?

The funny thing is that it worked perfectly with 2.0.04.
Photos -> "my pictures"
Videos -> "my videos"
???

Picture Flow 0.5 CAB

Hey guyz..I made a cab for PictureFlow v 0.5 ( Hope the Developers Doesent Mind )
Instructions :
The CAB is modified in such a way that it looks for the Pictures in the /Storage card/DCIM Folder..
so make sure ur pictures are in a folder called DCIM on ur storage card
i will be posting a cab for Various locations like My Pictures or My Documents , etc.
P.S :-
in WM6 if u select Storage card as ur Image saving location in ur camera settings..a DCIM folder is automatically created

(question) in htc diamond album, is it possible to move picture to another folder?

as i know, there is no 'move to' nor 'copy to' function in htc album, i have to use file explorer to move or copy a picture to another folder...
is it possible to add these two function? thanks ^^

why not into file explorer get the picture, then its menu edit cut or copy and move to it any folder or made up folder you like

wrong thumbnails in Media panel album.

Hi.
Did you noticed any wrong thumbnails when you use the media panel , in the album format?
Try this:
sd\DCIM\img0001.jpeg
sd\DCIM\img0002.jpeg
sd\DCIM\New Folder\img0001.jpeg
sd\DCIM\New Folder\img0002.jpeg
the img0001.jpeg in the DCIM folder will be displayed with the thumbmails of the new folder img0001.jpeg.
i'm using french version of the R2.
Do you know any way to solve this, excepted to rename all pictures .

[Q] .nomedia not working new pics show in gallery

Hey all,
I have got some older folders with pictures stored on my ext sd.
I dont want these folders/pictures to show in the gallery.
In every folder is a .nomedia file and this used to work on my S4, the picturen wernt showing in the gallery.
Now on the note the excisting pictures in the folders also don't show in the gallery.
But whenever i add a new picture to one of the folders containing a .nomedia file only those new pictures do show and i dont want that.
When i used to add a picture on the S4 it didnt show but now on the note every new picture does show.
How can i fix this?
I dont want the pictures i move to be scanned by the gallery.

Have you tried copying the files to another directory using my files (stock Samsung file explorer)? Had the same problem and renaming them or copying them helped in my case

Try clearing gallery cache, also delete .thumbnails folder

You shouldn't need to use .nomedia file. If you want to hide folder rename that folder to start with "." so you can't see anything from that folder in gallery
If you want to hide one single picture, rename that file to start with period.
