Modify HTC Home Screen

I like parts of the HTC Home Screen but there are portions of SPB Mobile Shell that I like better.
I would like to combine the two like the following screenshot.

I have gotten so I can put the SPB Mobile Shell plugin at the bottom (see screenshot below) but I can't figure out if it is possible to remove part of the HTC Homescreen Plugin.
Does anyone know if this is possible OR if their are plugins that will mimic the Clock and the Notification bar? If it will take a lot of work I wouldn't mind donating hosting or funds.

mot possilbe. at present there's no way to change the size of text or the items that are part of it, that's hardcoded into the dlls. Only thing that cn change is the fonts and icons
Now, you could taken it down to one tab by using either HTC Home Customizer or the newer versions of it add a nother tab in settings > today control panel. So you can take it down to the HOME tab only, that will leave you with what you want (but the House icon is still there, that's the best I can do...)

Don't know where to tell you to look but its here somewhere can't remember where I got it. I use HTC Plus instead of the Home Plug here it is with MobileShell

well then is it possible to create a custom today plugin like HTC Home?

you may want to check out rlToday, there are some really great skins for it. there are even some HTCHome inspired ones; just check out the rlToday forums.

Use rlToday, it uses xml so u can customize it urself ... like i did here:

nice find on the cab, but a couple of similiar cabs have already been posted in the skins thread for manilla 2d. You can also manually edit the xml and change rows and columns number in the launcher widget area, the only limit I found was when I tried to make a single column, touchflo would quit and have to be reloaded. For rows I have 20 currently.

I managed to edit HtcHomeSettings.xml to make it 4 columns. But, all the columns are stuck right next to each other. How do you create space between the columns?

Being has Customizer M2D 5.004. You can set 3 or 4 colum, on off for all tab :

Hey TWOlf,
I wanted to use your Vista theme because it looks so great, but does the Weather icon and other icons get cut off at the bottom like is shows in the screenshots?

yes, but it wasnt accidental, it was on purpose... I could have resized all like the clock and internet.

Dual Chrono Clock DUAL_BREIL

I Wash_Diamond startup animation,welcomehead and 2 wallpapers.
If you experience any choppy animation or non animation,
try changing your gif speed. With either Advanced Config under the HTC Animation pull down, or registry editor under HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation\. Try ranging the number around, 40, 75, 100.
Seems to strangely vary by the rom.
right click save gif to pc and rename to animated.gif,copy to your diamond and put in windows.
i made a cab file from the animated screen and welome screenfor easy installation (no wallpapers and clocks included) :

with the extreme analog clock you lose the worldclock funktion,the missed calls and the agenda function at the startpage.

TF3D analog/digital Toggle Clock .
It works on the new TF3D2 .(i didn't test it on the old manila please confirm if it works)
Press the toggle text button in the right corner to switch from analog clock to digital and back.

nope this is for a year and like everyone can see you fill up 4 pages with nothing .......only taking and talking

I installed the transparent diamond slider and love it but I do need help. How do I make the original slider go away? The sprint icons are still there and your overlaps them in the slider only. Thanks again for a great file!

Indeed I too like the Transparent Diamond Slider but it seems to be off center on my Pro. Any suggestions/fixes? Thanks

i like the analog clock, but don't know anything about this.. i notice on your screenshot your clock is to the left, and you have some text and an icon to the right.. on my screen there's just a centre clock.. is there anyway to display the calendar entries like v2?

For the clock, just clic and drag it where you want... you can do it, with analog clocks! For the icon, think it's just some author's eyecandy.

oh yeah! thats pretty cool.
still, i miss my upcoming calendar entries.. even if its only 1 or 2.
a problem i've noticed, my soft buttons, where on djoubhaa's screenshot you can see "telephone" and "explorateur", mine are blank. or if you go to another tab like mail, then the mail soft buttons will show up, and if i go back to the home screen, the mail soft buttons will stay.. you can see in my screenshot i have the favourite's tab soft buttons showing on my home page.. they don't actually do anything if i click them

Seemed Unstable

The latest version seemed a little unstable. My phone restarted itself once I had installed it. I think that if this modification was stable and the slider button was at the left like in landscape mode I would consider using it.
