How to disable 'Clock & Alarms' screen after clicking clock in HTC Home?

I occasionaly click on the big digital clock on the HTC home by accident, while aiming to click on the e-mail or sms icon. Clicking on the clock opens the 'Clock & Alarms' screen, which I hardly ever use.
Is there a way to disable the opening of 'Clock & Alarms' when clicking on the clock?

Have never seen this pop up on the forums.. sorry.
I've seen once around here somewhere in the Kaiser section someone was able to change a short cut on the home screen (one of the mail buttons), but that was it. If someone could find the reg key for that or whatever controls it youc ould probably disable that clock/alarms link somehow, but i wouldnt know where to start

I've searched for quite a while to find a solution.
I want to "remap" the click to open galarm for example.
But for now, I think there is no solution.

You can download Manilla 2D Customizer and then disable the alarm status and digital clock in Home tab. There will be no interaction when you press the analog clock in the home screen.
Oops, sorry. Wrong post. Thought that this is related with ROMs with Manilla 2D.

Is it something we could arrange with the SSMaPa soft ?
This soft proposes to replace "Clock clic" and "Alarm clic".... I am sure there is something to do here..

Don't think you can change that.
I believe the function is associated with the display and setting of time in windows and not changeable via the interface (Manila 2D for instance).

If someone find any tweaks about this I'm very interested too ... I'm going crazy with this clock

Yes SSMaPa will do this. You can map the clock to any .exe including GAlarm, GProfile or any other program you wish.
Still does not stop you from accidentally pressing it though.

Install Tweaks2k2.Net
Go to:
Tweaks> Security, No acces to change the time
Reset
Done!!

Thanks EZ. It works. I could not get ssmapa to work.
But it disables the windows time feature even from system. We dont change the time everyday so its good enough.

Uknown Clock has appeared

I've been trying to solve this since yesterday.

The red arrow is pointing to an unknown digital clock. I'm suppose to see the battery icon there, and I would like to have my battery ICON back please smiley hehehe.
When you click on the digital clock you get that second screen with the balloon message.

Ive seen no configuration to bring back that HTC battery meter. There is although another battery meter with pocket plus, but I want to use the original one because clicking on it takes you to the WM battery ap whilst the pocket plus one does nothing sad
Last applications installed that I think mite have caused it?
- SPB Pocket Plus
- Pocket Infromant
But I cant find the settings on either of the two.

im not sure how to disable it but it looks like pocket informant.

How did you get that there? I want to disable HTC home and put that there but there's no option to! =( Lucky.

Go to the clock settings, on the last tab there is an option for this.

I dont know how it got there, it just suddenly appeared :-(
@****er: Clock settings didnt work for me, it wasnt even selected :-(

if it isnt what ****er suggested then you must have advanced config installed, its under the today section top item, show on title bar, battery or clock

Like mentioned before on clocks & alarms on settings System tab. on More tab uncheck the display clock option and it should remove it.

we have the same problem, it happens after i enabled clock display on the bar in all programs

Install Schap's advanced config:

Good alarm alternative for wm ?

The alarm clock that comes on the HD is not great eh?
Anyone recommend me a decent alarm clock for the HD?

I use the freeware GSALARM from GreenSoft. Custom sounds, snooze function etc. - is perfect for me!

cradle alarm is a good alternative.

SPB TIme is good because you can move alarms around the clock by dragging to change times and has a bunch of features like stop watches, etc.

Ive used so far the standard alarm app included with winmo. But its very annoying that when its alert, i only see small icon in info bar at the top of the screen, and its very hard to hit that and then disable the alarm when ur sleepy!
Does anyone knows plugin to the standard alarm, or a full application that lets u close the alert by simply turning the phone screen side down? Or a program that at least shows the alert in the screen, and having a big button to close it.
Edit: Never mind! The G-alarm looks like just what i described!

the only thing is that the GAlarm skin is not very nice regarding the others menus o fhte HD .... the GAlarm use is perfect to set and use ...just wish have a nice skin with .... does anyone knows haw can i make a skin , because i'm webdesigner and can make the graphics files for someone who knows how to "transform" it as a skin ..... let me know.

thanks eaglesteve..... i already have one of these, but , the font and colors and buttons are just not nice ..that's why i wanted to make anice one but don't know how to transform it as a skin after....

You download the cab on the link, then install it on the same place (ie if you G-alarm is in device, then also install the skin cab on device. After that , go to option and choose that skin.

..... ^_^ i have already set the downloaded skin few days ago ...... but i want to create the graphics files for a new nice one , but i don't know the next step : transform my graphic files to make a skin cab ..... that's the point !!!

Oops.. I see what you mean sir. You want to make your own skins. Sorry I have not tried it.

Same experience with the standard alarm app here, but I think it's the touchflo 3d interface that messes up the alarm on my touch hd. With touchflo 3d disabled the standard alarm app is able to provide much more feedback and control. Could this be a touchflo 3d error?

TF3D AND the standard today screen

ok, i'm looking to be able to switch between tf3d and the standard today screen using panels.
from what i've read, daran's new tf3d b3 cab doesn't work as a panel like the b2 did. has anyone found a way to get it to work ? is there any way to get the standard today screen to work as a panel ? has anyone tested mtoday to see if that works ?
there must be a solution somewhere ?

hi there,
i am using "second Today" as a panel and it works fine. Only Problem is, that the TF3D B3 has to be on the Homescreen, it won't start on the Second Today Panel, but mY Spb Diary starts on the Second Today Panel allright... !!!!!!!!

are you using second today as an actual panel or a "virtual panel" ?
i'm really looking to have either tf3d2 or the today screen as a panel so that i just easily switch between them ...
i had a look at second today but it didn't seem to do what i was looking for ...

Changing bottom softkeys on a Touch Dual

Hi wife now has my touch dual and now wants the bottom icons changed ie the ones that state calendar and contacts and I was wondering if any knows how to do it.
I was happy with the way it was but typical wife wants a change
Please remember that I am a Noob and never done anything with the fone when I had it lol

Thx for the reply twolf had a look at that site an it looks like a nice program I will get it for myself as to my wifes fone I downloaded a program called "Softkeys Control Panel Applet" which sorted the wifes problem an she is now as happy as a mother hen
