Manila customizer ?

hi Everybody,
does the cab "manila customizer" exist for the touch HD?
I'm was using it with my Touch pro but with my HD, it works but due to the differnet screen size, some menu buttons are missing.

Works for my HD...

I think Im with the original poster. There appears to be some buttons missing to actually set a change of icons etc.
Who has it working and if so, how ?

nobody to get it working in WVGA?

Got it working on mine. Not ideal but good enough to get things changed.
Heres what I did -
Installed this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=451694
Start the program from start>programs>vmode switch.
Select 480x640
Then press home button>programs
OPen Manila customizer and customize.
When finished, do a soft reset.
Worked on mine.
maybe someone will find a way of switching it (vmode) off when youve finished with manila customizer.

TouchFlo Question and others

Hi,
I've installed Touch Flo 2D Manila2D_1.00_1819.2926-xplode.CAB on top of Sundreams ROM.
This ROM rocks and it very fast on my BA with apps installed. OCed the BA using XCPUScalar.
However I've got a problem with the adding Programs shortcuts in TouchFlo (launcher tab). After selecting the program, the form closes and no program is added to the shortcut. The + remains a +. Anyone experienced this problem?. Is there a way to add the shortcuts manually in a configuration file?.
Also where can I configure TouchFlo settings?
Also the front screen calendar is too basic for my taste. I used SPB diary. How can I use a more advanced calendar with TouchFlo (shows 5 days or more)?.

make sure you installed all the Xplode CABS before the manila to have it working

To which cabs are you actually refering to?. Am I missing something?.
Well as regards to the launcher, I have added the applications manually via registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila2D\Launcher, however the application do not run when clicked on. Icons appear as a 'blank icon' rather than '+'

As far as the calendar, no one seems to have been able to use a different calendar as of yet. Having said that, there is one alternative that I am using right now (with which I am pretty happy). There is a program in the Dev and Hacking section that is called Manila Control

This will allow you to switch back and forth between Manila and Today (just set up an Up-Down gesture with FTouchFlo Config). You can then put any Today plugin that you want (ie SPB Calendar) and just switch to it when you need to see your calendar. Hope this helps you on that end.
Now, as far as the cabs, you should install the following cabs:

HTC AudioManager_2.0_1819.1228.cab
GoogleMaps_compressed.cab
HTC_Task_Manager_2.1_34837.5.cab
HTC_Album2.0_1818.3032.cab

FSP, DShow, WMP, Youtube, Video Fixes.cab
These are the ones that I have on my device and I have not had any issues with speed or anything like that. Hope this helps!

Thanks for feedback. I have managed to find a workaround via registry. I did'nt add the "uptime" key before. Once added the icons are functional and show up.

New Rhodium Start Menu as a cab?

Is it possible to change the behaviour of the start menu to the new rhodium based one?
Any reg changes? Anything?

NO it doesnt work on the HD....
Time to keep looking...

Thanks, but either it was a misunderstanding, or it doesn't work for my PAQ-Rom.
The windows - start button behaves like bevore, just the the TF3D app-page appears new.

To enable "old" LargeMenu (Disable new manila start menu):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu\Enable ManilaStartMenu =dword:00000000
To show favorites programs page on manila:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila\Manila://programs.page.hidden =dword:00000000

I installed tsowens icons and lost the rhodium start menu. I have searched through the registry and tried different tweaks all to no avail. Anyone any ideas?

S2U2 doesn't lock Navi & Footprints HW buttonss

Hi, does anybody have the same problem? On my HTC Cruise 09 I use SSMaHo and Manilla2D Customizer utilities, no changes made with the HW buttoons. When I lock the device with Slide2Unlock2, TomTom and Footprints programs still start after pressing their buttons. Might it be a course of using the SSMaHo or M2D Customizer? Can anybody help me out? I liked S2U2 bud had to uninstall it. I've heard many times the TomTom travel instructions from my pocket

Hello, I have the same problem! But i have no extra software only the Slide2unlock2.
I think it has nothing to do with Manilla2D ect.

I had the same problem.
After you press the TomTom/Footprint Button in S2U2, Pocket GnuBoy etc. the program [TomTom/Footprints] starts.

After you do all things in this HowTo the problem is solved and you can configurate the buttons to start TomTom, Footprint or other Programs and S2U2 will work normal.

I know that the post is old, but for information for this issue, i installed the last version of S2U2 (V2.21) and the problem doesn't appear any more for me. In V2.12 i had this.

I updated the newest ROM from HTC (RUU_Topaz_S_Vodafone_DE_2.16.162.1_Radio_Sign_Topaz_61.44tc.25.32_4.49.25.17_Ship)
and I added Manila to the WhiteList.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList]
"TF3D Wert: "="Manila"
and to the modul list
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName]
"TF3D"="\Windows\manila.exe"
but when I turn the display, I'll only see the task bar and the bar with the soft keys in landscape but manila remains black and this is for each tab.
All other apps like Word, Excel or TotalCommander are working fine.
Anyone else got this problem too?

Go to this link and download my application, TD2 Tools, there is an option in there to enable TouchFLO Rotation.
The reason you cant get it working correctly is because there are a few other registry tweaks involved to make rotation function.

I installed you tools but the result is the same. I guess I made all the registry changes before because I can see that the display flips to landscape. The Toolbar and the lower bar with the softkeys is displayed in landscape but manila is black and this in all tabs.
