i was wondering since these 2 pda phones its the same OEM..can i use o2atom rom on hp6828??is this recommended??

Interested to know, too, as we see Atom has various rom update with significant improvement, while many us HP owners still waiting and waiting for their 1st rom update....
If indeed Atom (or Exec) rom can be used, at least we can enjoy a seemingly more mature (and relative bug-free) rom on our HP hardware.
I am thinking of getting an atom because of the ROM improvement, but what make me consider the hp hw6828 is I like hp design, if hp can take atom ROM then I have no worries in getting the hp now
Does the HP have a bootloader? if yes then you should be able to use O2 rom the only thing is that the hardware keys are different but that is something quite easy to get around.

Everything fine, but when the device come out " Tap Screen To Start", I try everywhere on the screen, but nothing happen!!!!!!!! so, guess how???? Maybe some solutions to flash back to Hp ROM.....

in this lockdown time.As such i want to learn how to cook/compile my own ROM, either windows or Android.I recently bought a cheap hp ipaq glisten phone for this project.
I am still downloading files.I am looking reading on how to put Android on this Device...to all hp ipaq glisten owners.Once I get this phone hacked,I will post updates here.
I am also looking at htc hero because it has similar specs with hp ipaq GLISTEN.
