Hello everybody, i'm looking, since 2 days, for a program that allow to limit my call duration, or number of sending sms to don't be surprised or havn't 10000 eur to pay per month.
To have some view of my call, or sms spending every day, or after every call or sms, etc.
I remember to have something like that in my symbian S60.
I was able to put some factor, for exemple : for a call = 0,08eur/min
with 100 free minutes per week
an sms = 0,05eur/sms
and to deny to exceed 40eur per week....
I hope that it was clear, and that some people could help me.

I have a serious problem here......recently i started to receive adult messages from a spam service...and now i get like 1 every 3 days and it p*sses me off; is there any way i can get a program which will delete the messages....
the messages come from different numbers and some say unidentifed sender??? what prgoram will block these stupid messages....
i dont want somink which only allows people from my contact to send messages; as this will block all the people who have my number but i dont have theres

Anyway it goes by phone number (should be for any other SMS filter). So, it may be difficult to get your spam 100% filtered, especially those un-identified sender (in the case where you do not want to white list all your friends in the contact).
call your cell company they can see all income txt msgs and block it on there end. plus credit you back if you get charged per txt msg.

I called o2 on 2220; from this i selcted option 4 and 5...which blocks adult messages...so this hopefuly should sorted it...

Is there any good (preferably free, or ones with a trial) software that I can use that will record the use of the phone, so I can check without having to call T-Mobile all the time how many texts I've sent, minutes I've used on billable numbers etc...
I've tried PhoneAlarm, but it's not at all reliable with that, is there owt else?
It would also be good if it could tell whether a text was sent with 1, 2 or more SMS's, spotting that texts with more than 160 charactors will use 2+ of my allowence.

Do a search. Topic like this appears many times, though non of the existing product satisfy most of the thread starters.
Personally, I use DKToday. The SMS isn't working very well, but it gives a rough estimation of the minutes used.
DKToday works nice for me. it shows how many minutes you have used every month. I recently did a ROM upgrade and since I am on a 2.0 ROM my SMS counts works fine. before that, every SMS would be counted twice. No problem really, I just had to divide my SMS counts by two to get the real number. Since the upgrade, my SMS count is correct. Search for DKToday and ye shall find.
DKToday does not work for me. Doesn't count the mins or sms I use.

thanks, I downloaded it, great tool but can not send many in a defined time laps.
why would you want to send so many texts to one number?
Here in Vienna we have a parking systemwhere we can send an sms and then park for 60 minutes
as I want to park longer, i want my Xperia to send for example 3 sms after every 61 minutes so I can not forget to send another sms to get another parking ticket
A little late, but i think RJV SMS Scheduler is the key... hehehe

I'm pretty sure this was just asked days ago, but the simplest solution would be to send the message as three separate sms, or make sure that you dont exceed the three message threshold.
