No protected apps on Haykuros latest build? - G1 General

I was wondering if anyone else ran into the same issue. I cannot see paid apps on the market on ADP1.5r3. The first time I did a wipe and reinstall, then it worked. This time Ive done 2 wipes and re-installed it from scratch and it just doesn't seem them. They work fine on the dudes and JF's builds.

anyone?!?!?

Seems fine on mine.

Market place not working on jfv1.42

so i installed the jfv1.42 on my rooted g1 and every time i try to access marketplace it crashes. any fixes for this?
I had that issue one time when I updated firmwares and it was related to my market cache, which I had moved before the update. I think I just followed the steps to move the cache again and it worked.
jsapp is right. if that doesnt work, try to reflash the jf 1.42 and see if that fixes it. if no go, let us know. btw, are you using rc33 or adb?

Fresh version 1.1 causing apps to crash?

Ever since I installed Fresh over the stock rom, it seems like more apps are crashing. Right now, I can't use Newsrob or Grooveshark as they crash at startup.
I'm not sure if this is due to the rom, but this is my first android phone and beyond rooting it and installing this rom, I haven't done anything to the phone.
Any thoughts would be great.
Thanks
have you tried wiping data, reinstalling the apps or re-flashing 1.1?
I uninstalled all non-essential apps and re-installed the needed ones. seems to work fine now. not sure what the cause was.

BetterBrowser force closes

Ok this might be in here already but I can't find it. I have a rooted G1 with cyan 4.2.14.1 and I recently did a data wipe. After, everything worked except my browser. It's Loccy's I have tried deleting all remnants of it and reinstalling it using the apk. I have tried to reinstall cyan. I have even gone into the davlik folder and tried deleting it that way. Nothing has worked so far. I downloaded Dolphin Browser and that works fine so I know it's nothing with the phone itself. I am lost for an answer if someone could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks.

[Q] Push install apps via market.android.com

I finally got round to watching the Honeycomb features video last night and logged on to market.android.com and tried the 'one-click-install' that should push the app to your phone over the magic of the internet and Androidism.
However it says it's been installed (on the web page) but my phone never receives notification of the app being installed and the app is not installed, so I'm thinking we need a certain version of the Android Market?
I'm running CM7.0 with the GAPPS for it, 2.2.7.
I only have the 1 android device and it's listed as it should be on the install page of any app.
Anyone else got it working?
Worked fine for me when I tried few days ago.
Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App
I found that apps pushed from the market.android.com website wouldn't be installed on the phone when running CM7 (I think around nightly #24-ish) but if I switched to a Sense based rom (nDAF's 1.7 based on BlaY0's B-0.7) then the apps would be received and installed. It looks like CM7 might not be compatible with pushing apps from the market web site, unless it's been sorted in more recent nigthly's. Might try it again and also with with CM6.1 when I get a minute.
EDIT:
OK, tried pushing Talking Tom Cat Free from the website but it isn't received on the phone with latest CM7 (nightly #33) and Market 2.2.11 intalled.
UPDATE:
It seems that, for me at least, apps push from the website ok with a clean install of CM7, i.e. data/cache wipe during intall or factory reset of exiting insatllation, but wont work with a restored backup of a pervious intallation. Suggests that it must be some sort of Cache thing?
Thanks going to try fiddle now
Went for a fresh install of cm7.0 that Ali released in early January and it's working now fantastic!
Glad to be of help.
I think it should work with any CM7 release as long as the data/cache is wiped. I had it working with the latest nightly release from yesterday. #33 I think. I might try restoring a older version and then selectively delete the cache from various apps to see if I can find the culprit.

SOLVED: Having issues with several apps

A couple of weeks ago I started having issues with a couple of apps (Zenonia 4, Baseballsuperstars 2012, perfectviewer), everytime I reboot I get force close on all those apps, I have to unnistall and restore from Titanium and the work again. I have tried fixing permissions from recovery to no avail.
Has anyone have had a similar problem? Right now I'm running Mirage's CM7 RC 7.2 Kang build (not the latest one). Once my NC is fully charged today I'll be upgrading to latest build to see if I still have the problem. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this, that doesn't include doing a clean install?
I'll probably gonna end up doing a clean install, but I'm going to wait a bit to see if anyone has a faster solution to my problem.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: I opted for doing a clean install. After reloading 117 apps with titanium, installing supercharger, changing nook tweaks (bla bla bla etc etc) couple of hours later everything seems to be fine now

Nah, leave it up. You never know what can help somebody. Something got broke and you found a way to fix it. Maybe someone else will post a better way, or simply slap their forehead and try a clean install.
