Can't find anything about this anywhere so hoping for a bit of help.
I would like to know if there is a registry entry that can be added so that I have to confirm before a text message sends. I keep knocking the send button by accident half way through riting it and its getting quite annoying.
Ideas?

Please pardon this posting (if this is an already known issue - it's 3.00AM and I've been combing the Herald threads for known issues but didn't see this on there)...
I got a new Wing today and after placing the SIM card in it, the phone works like one would expect until you try to send a text message. That never gets sent . What's more aggravating is the behavior on incoming text messages. The keys light up when I get a new text message and the counter on the home screen adds to the number of unread messages however, when I click on the link to attempt to view the messages, the inbox is blank. 0 messages in it. I have checked all the folders to no avail. Even a hard reset on the device doesn't seem to fix the issue. Am I missing something here? If so what??
FYI I called T-Mo support and their Tier 3 guy was stumped.
Here's the wierd thing while I was going through testing to validate that this was an actual issue, I did get the "incoming text message" bubble notification and from there, I clicked on Menu (from the home page) and was able to view the text messages - so they're somewhere in my phone, just not in the inbox - anyone have any idea where I can look?
*bump*
I'm having this problem now. Ever find the fix?
Does anyone know of any way to disable the text message sent notification sound that exists when you send a text message? I've tried all of the sound options but it still has that terribly annoying sound when you send a text message. Being the person sending the message I'm not even sure why you would want a sound anyways.
I've also edited the registry and added the key to do the no notification on text sents and it still does it.
Any help is greatly appreciated to keep my sanity at work.
Well, I was able to get it disabled with another registry hack but now I just noticed none of my sent text messages are being saved even though the option is enabled.
Is this typical?
So my phone is on the desk, it beeps to tell me that I received a text message. I'm busy so I come back to it 5 minutes later.
I hit my power button, then slide to unlock (S2U2).
On my TF3D scroll bar, theres a little green "1" on top of the messages icon to tell me I have 1 new message.
I press the messages button but ......The new text is not displayed. I have to scroll through the texts to get to it.
WTF??????????
Surely there is a fix for this absolutely stupid design flaw. Please can anyone help me. Starting to get annoyed with this thing.
Ive just been testing this again be sending myself texts from the web and it seems to be working fine now. I did a complete re-install of my phone last night so maybe that explains it. Be interested to hear from anyone who had similar problems all the same.

Thanks Wacky, I had already actually read most of that thread but couldn't see anything with the same problem that I have.
Everything about my SMS is painfully slow. Just pressing the sms icon can cause the phone to lock up or even crash. Normal typing in a word doc for eaxmple is a pleasure, in an sms it's difficult.
All of sms's are sending straight away and being recieved. It's just the erratice behave that the software goes through whenever i want to send a txt
I want my "SPELL CHECK" sms messages back as well. how do we get this back?
Im sure theres a .cab to fix this but i cant seem to find it.
The time is off when i recieve a text message.
for example:
I send a message at 4:46 pm, recieve one seconds later but it shows a time of 1:46, which is a huge pain in the ass, as the messages are no longer properly threaded.
Can someone direct me to a .cab file to fix this? or is there a phone setting that im overlooking to make this work?
Here you go...
