Heys guys,
one question to you xperia users.
I sent my xperia to SE because it had a crack. They sent me a brand new one from 09 back. But when I pull out the keyboard, hold it and shake the device it's like the keyboard isn't as hard at the phone as it should be, so the display and the rest of the device shake a bit too. Is this normal? I can't remember that my old phone did this too.
Deutsch:
Hey Leute,
I have my device now for 6 month and the display attached to the keyboard felt at the beginning solid like one unit.
But now, the display is a little bit loose, if you press on the screen you feel it goes down a little bit.
I believe it's of the slide mechanism that it goes a little bit loose after some time.......

I just restarted my phone and when it was still in "now restarting" in Android I held down
both Vol+ and Vol-
now my Nexus is COMPLETELY dead.
It wont turn on. It wont charge - wont show any symbol while charging. (Battery was nearly full)
...do I have to replace it? I'm from Austria and bought it over ebay from America, can I even replace it?!

thx for the obvious answer....
working fine now...
I don't think JIG method working on other than Samsung devices. N7 Is fairly easy to tear down so how about trying disconnect battery from N7 and reconnect, iFixit has berif guide with photos.

Haha I know the pain you mean. When I first got a Nexus I had the same thing happen to me and it freaked me out. But I just kept the power button held down and held my breath and hoped it boots up and sure enough it did and I did like the biggest sigh of relief ever.
Since battery is not removable, Asus implemented an "emergency switch", which will force a reboot after holding down the power button for 10 seconds, this will always work, no matter if the tablet is frozen. (Except in the case you erase the bootloader, effectively converting your tablet into an useless piece of metal, plastic and glass glued together)

Hi
Two days ago, i opened he case to cut the pieces at the backcover to remove display lift. Now it makes "krkkrk" everytime when i press on the silver "thing" at the right site or when i press at the back cover. The loudest point is about 8cm over he speeker and about 10 cm under the Nexus "N". I openned the case about 5 times now. Does anybody also have the problem? How to fix that?
Regards
PS: Sorry for my English, i'm tired.

Glue the pieces you chopped off back on.
This is so weird
You can hear a rattle coming from inside the camera lens when the phone is moved.
When u switch the camera on it goes away and comes back after its shut.
Is this normal?

I bought this S4 9500 off ebay second hand. When I switch it on the light on the screen comes on nothing else and switches off after approx 3 sec - no boot up etc. . When I press on/central menu botton +volume up I get this screen. Note it displays upside down. When i choose any of the options it seems switch off. Certainly does not respond any further.
The charging plug has been broken by previous owners - can this phone be saved?
Thanks for your help
Andrew

The bezels are much bigger than normal. The power button sits like 5mm under the screen on a regular s4. The side bezels are like 2mm big. It is a fake for sure

Supervielen dank nach D from Englands Sued-Ost Kueste!
Excellent reply thanks
I have copied some of the replies to the ebay resolution center discussion - and hope justice will be served
I have as a first thing of course uploaded these and other images to the resolution center communications.

It is also pretty easy to tell that the phone in that photo has an LCD display due to its backlight rather than OLED.
There is an app in the Play Store called, "Genuine Galaxy S4" (I cannot link it here as I have not posted enough yet for linking to be enabled on my account) It's very easy to find. It will confirm it's authenticity and I'm sure you could send kind of photo of the screen to eBay
Hope this helps
Upload more pictures , with and without cover, battery, take close ups, etc.
Because It does look identical to my original Samsung galaxy s4.
Idk how they know is fake.

Not sure if its an led in the button or a deformed power button that has passed through quality control without being seen?
Am I the only one?
Thanks in advance

I think it's the latter. You should send it back for a replacement, who knows what else is wrong with it.

Really.
So the button is not completely smooth, like the volume rocker switch is?
The light is reflecting somehow at the point you see the dot. I've added a second photo, that shows light reflecting differantly.
I thought at first it was a power led or something?
If you run your nail down the button, does it get caught in the hole or run smooth across it?
Thanks again.

I got the same thing on my phone. I think it's just because of design because your nail doesn't get caught or anything.

Thanks all
I was hoping it was by design, as I really didn't want the hassle of an exchange.
Seems all is well, thanks for your feedback.
Aaaahhh, that's the design of the button (circular pattern embossing with a center point)
Come on man..!!!!

Using your iPad, you've obviously not used other manuafacturers who push off design issues as 'by design'.
After having the device for a couple of days, I am glad I checked.
There is no "hole", the power button has a textured finish that radiates outward from the center of the button, which is why it looks like there's something in the middle of it. If you run your fingernail across the power button, you will notice that the entire button has that textured finish on it.
